@Immanuel Kant I don’t think it’s bullying, it’s just the word “interesting” can be both positive and negative. I’m pretty sure unlike Ben Lee or Vov Dylan many of us appreciate her talent, I mean she composed concertos that are actually really good!
Revenge? She's a Queen and they're just ants crawling under her shoe. I've would be surprised if she has spared even a single thought on them. Also, they're bullies and it's always best to ignore bullies. Unless you're Hillary Hahn, then you make money of it.
@@taon2004 lol I’m sorry but you really have no proof. How are they bullying someone when they’re actually just joking around? You probably don’t get the difference between joking around and bullying, do you?
My son is in his 2nd school year of violin, and his best friend is trying to learn piano. (8th graders) This totally reminds me of them. Hopefully they have this much fun together playing 10 years from now 😍 What I like most about Eddy and Brett is they genuinely have FUN with music; and as bada** as they are, they are very humble, fun, and relatable.
I loved how they started off so serious... it sounded so beautiful with the piano and violin. Then they just stared at each other like.... time to go insane XD . You piece was bloody brilliant 👏👏👏👏
That's what's so incredible about her, her music doesn't sound improvised at all, it sounds like a legit composition with structure, a steady tempo, and harmonic chord progressions according to the period she's styling the music after. Jazz improv is definitely easier, but it's still incredibly hard because of the constantly modulating keys and all
Sam Farnsworth wow what a pretentious person. You are the kind of person that gives us classical musicians such a bad name. Why must you claim that one art form is so much better than another? And you base it off of popularity? You don’t see many visual artists comparing whether cubism is better than realism. Why? Because they are both valid art styles and neither can be considered better because of a difference of opinion. You’re so pretentious that you don’t even bother to understand that jazz isn’t just a bunch of people mashing random notes. There is structure in jazz, and not just anyone can play it. Also, if you want to base it off of popularity, I’m sure you could walk up to anyone and they would know some jazz standards like Summertime, Fly me to the Moon, All of Me, etc. So get off your pedestal and just appreciate music and it’s different forms.
@@masonhmusic Not to mention the fact that jazz is literally imbued or attempted in almost all genres of pop music on the radio today. Rap/RnB are two genres that have their toes in jazz.
@Sam Farnsworth "Ask anyone on the street, anyone, hum the melody to Ode To Joy--chances are they will have heard it. Will they have heard "Midnight in Moscow"? "Begin the Beguine?" "Jazz-berry Jam" ? Not friggin likely." You're absolute right: I asked 100 people yesterday, and *all* of them could hum Xenakis's "Metastaseis" from start to finish by memory, yet none of them had ever heard of Paul Desmond's "Take Five".
Their edgy duet reminds me of two psychopaths encountering one another and not realising the other is an equal. Both continue to build up traps after traps for one another and they start to realise bit by bit how identical they are yet the race to kill one another is ongoing. Finally both come to a point where they find love in each others’ madness and die together in a collective trap they lead each other towards. It’s perfect.
Real talent is when you play piano or violin well while banging your head violently, not only that but also composing a piece with a friend telepathically.
Wow. The duet at the end was beautiful. Obviously some parts were rough. But, if you refined it and wrote it out, you guys would have a legitimately good piece that is much more interesting than whatever her face is. That’s something I would like to play.
I agree :) it's one thing to know what you're going to do, but another thing entirely to think about yourself and predict the actions of another person who isn't even playing the same instrument. These two never cease to impress me
She's demonstrably very smart. She knew that 60 minutes has very low journalistic standards and could therefore safely sneak in the B♭ to make things more interesting.

@@David61026 He had to go to the hospital a few times and ended up being bedridden for a while. His hospital visits spanned over the course of several months, but he was bedridden for just a few months. Then he started recovering slowly, and eventually made his way back to TH-cam. They never fully disclosed what caused his health condition, so don't bother asking what it was lol. This all happened after the "blind dating musicians" video (or something, I don't remember) so you can check out the timeline from there. Wtf💀
I read this comment again during the decomposing part and made me laugh so hard lol.
Max Ha i see you are already decomposed.
I like to imagine Alma getting her revenge on Brett and Eddy by composing a super hard duet for them to play.
Piano Prodigies...
Brett’s dancing...
Eddy’s groans...

TwoSet: hold my ling ling's cap
My son is in his 2nd school year of violin, and his best friend is trying to learn piano. (8th graders)
This totally reminds me of them. Hopefully they have this much fun together playing 10 years from now 😍
What I like most about Eddy and Brett is they genuinely have FUN with music; and as bada** as they are, they are very humble, fun, and relatable.
That’s adorable, I hope they’re having a lot of fun.
I loved how they started off so serious... it sounded so beautiful with the piano and violin. Then they just stared at each other like.... time to go insane XD . You piece was bloody brilliant 👏👏👏👏
So cool and funny, am I right?
Perfect
I want the sheet music to the last piece lol!

Jazz musicians out there like "all day er'y day" my jazz director in college would always say "there are no wrong notes, just better choices" ....
That's what's so incredible about her, her music doesn't sound improvised at all, it sounds like a legit composition with structure, a steady tempo, and harmonic chord progressions according to the period she's styling the music after. Jazz improv is definitely easier, but it's still incredibly hard because of the constantly modulating keys and all
Was your director called Bob Ross?
Not friggin likely."
You're absolute right: I asked 100 people yesterday, and *all* of them could hum Xenakis's "Metastaseis" from start to finish by memory, yet none of them had ever heard of Paul Desmond's "Take Five".

Okay but I really want you guys to do more piano violin improv because that was cool as hell
Yeah!!!!
2 people, 1 violin, 1 piano, locked in a room, slowly going insane
a concept.
John Cage like this
in a society
Came out of the room to make the anime “your lie in April”
That explains this channel perfectly

That’s something I would like to play.
i'm in intense agreeing with this
I agree :) it's one thing to know what you're going to do, but another thing entirely to think about yourself and predict the actions of another person who isn't even playing the same instrument. These two never cease to impress me
Interesting
Alma Deutscher plays violin too

Cuz it would get boring quickly with the g# there (i guess)

She's demonstrably very smart. She knew that 60 minutes has very low journalistic standards and could therefore safely sneak in the B♭ to make things more interesting.
Like I said, if the first note was C, the second note was definitely a B flat.
@@emanuellandeholm5657 that's a funny description :)
But does she practice 72 hours a day?????
She doesn't have to. She can fit 72 hours of practice into one minute.
Only when there's pizza for dinner.
misotanni Yeah, cause she can sing the notes before playing them
There are only 23 hours, 56 minutes, and 4 seconds each day...
No, but I can practice 24 hours for 3 consecutive days.

Just re-watching a bunch of twoset videos while Brett is resting and recovering. See how energetic and giggly Brett used to be. I wish you guys a good break and recharge and back to 105% soon!
what happened to Brett?
@@David61026 He had to go to the hospital a few times and ended up being bedridden for a while. His hospital visits spanned over the course of several months, but he was bedridden for just a few months. Then he started recovering slowly, and eventually made his way back to TH-cam. They never fully disclosed what caused his health condition, so don't bother asking what it was lol.
This all happened after the "blind dating musicians" video (or something, I don't remember) so you can check out the timeline from there. The video where Eddy bought Brett Christmas presents was also during Brett's recovery period.
Hope that helps explain it!
You both radiate chaotic energy... Also the only thing I could think of was "My last two brain cells" 🤣❤️🤣
Your joint composition at the end was lowkey epic tho, please put it on itunes k thanks
YOU GUYS IMPROVISED SO WELL WTFFF
they've been practicing for 39 hours hence they've improved, BUT LING LING practice 40 hours a day
The horror music bit at the end was absolutely fantastic. I rlly want them 2 sit down & seriously compose something together to play for this channel sometime. It would b rlly cool 2 hear what they could come up w/ together when they're seriously trying w/out an antics.
