- I composed this movement from my piano concerto in memory of my grandmother in Israel. I’m posting it here in memory of the children, the women and the men, young and elderly, who were murdered in southern Israel on October 7, 2023.

If only we could bring back those people… Thank you, Alma, for posting this most beautiful and moving response in the midst of such tragedy. It shows what true civilization and refinement can produce - a stark contrast to the barbarism that took these innocent people’s lives. Our world is broken and has been for some time, but your music shows us what is possible if only humans could embrace the best within them. The perpetrators of evil will never learn these lessons, unfortunately, but the rest of us humans definitely could.
How beautifully put in the mist of this horror the world is broken I know the God of refinement exists somewhere some place I call it heaven

Our elders, 75 years old, ware slaughter, and it took 45 days to get a forensic recognition of their abused and tortured bodies.
