In this video I unbox, go over and test the Chins 51.2v 100ah LifePO4 Lithium Battery from Chins. This is a Smart battery which means there is a bluetooth app to monitor the battery real time. I tested the battery in a 2014 club car precedent golf cart with a navitas ac system.

What happens when you exceed the 100 amps for more than the 3 second maximum. For example my stock 36v yamaha pulls more than a 100 amps going up a hill definitely for more than 4 seconds. On flat ground 100 amps is fine but It would suck to get stranded due to over current. Have you had problems ?

Hey just found your page, thanks for all of the videos. Two quick questions: I currently have 2001 Club Car DS 48v cart. Primarily using just on the golf course. The 6-8v batteries on on their last leg. Do you feel this would be a good budget lifePo4 battery to put in? I would like to stay with one 48v (51.2v) battery, and would like to keep the cost under $1500 if possible. Also, you had to bypass the factory OBC for this lifePo4 conversion, correct? Thanks.

The warranty is only good for 1 year, and that is only after they deem it defective. After 1 yr and before 5 years, they only offer "free after sales service and maintnenace service", whatever that means. The battery is sealed so I don't see how it can be serviced. The interesting thing is that Amazon will not offer the Asurance potection plan like thye do on other batteries.
