@@DavidBContentExtravaganza3967 This will be kind of long 😅 So it was back in October 2018 in London, I went to go see a Musical called Eugenius & Christopher played the Main Character's Father So when the show was over I saw him & despite the fact that I don't have alot of confidence I just ran straight over to him & explained that I've been a huge fan of Thomas My Whole Life & I asked what it was like providing the voices for Percy & Trevor? Christopher said it was great & the whole voice cast was like one big family Funnily enough earlier in the day I had been to the Science Museum & had seen a Traction Engine that looked just like Trevor 😃 I even showed the picture to him & he found it pretty cool Got a photo with him even better 🤩
I never realized Trevor got a complete large-scale model. That's quite a distinct honor for him, although he definitely deserves it. Also, I disagree with the choice to stop saying how the eyes work, or how the faces are made. It is true that people watching these as they come out or binge-ing the entire series will probably get used to hearing it, but, if anyone were to watch this episode, and just this episode, in isolation, then they would have to go out of their way to get the eye and face information from another video, or perhaps elsewhere entirely. I personally would treat every video as if it were the only one, but that's just me.
I’ve actually worked on the “real life” Trevor, Fiery Elias, though I didn’t realise the connection at the time! From the mid 90s to the early 2000s, I was a member of the “Steam Apprentice Club” (the youth section of the National Traction Engine Trust) in Britain and would volunteer to maintain and operate various traction engines and steam rollers at steam rallies in different parts of the UK each weekend over the summer months. Great times, until I went to Uni!
Trevor serves as such a good complement to Edward’s character, and he plays a role in Thomas’ development, especially with the whole road vs. rail thing. Shame he wasn’t used to his potential
Can you please do the narrow-gauge breakdown crane? Or maybe just a video covering standard-gauge breakdown cranes, narrow-gauge breakdown cranes, and Rocky?
"Fiery Elias...was actually owned by the Rev. W. Awdry's friend, the Rev. Teddy Boston." "Boston's Widow, Audrey, still owns Fiery Elias." Those 2 statements confused me for a few seconds. lol
Gotta admit I really respect Trevor, he's grown on me upon my rewatch of Seasons 2 & 3 and I wish he got a bit more. I also somewhat wish everytime I showed him to one of my friends they would not call him some nasty things.
I like the Trevor Noah shows. I think he a funny guy. Some comedians out there are out there including Trevor Noah which is way out there. I like this review on Trevor Noah. Not ha-ha funny, but he-he funny. I like Trevor the traction engine in the show. I like his unique design and how different he is from other engines and characters in the show. Thank you for reading this.
Also the production crew of Thomas and Friends Season three couldn’t figure out the whistles either. Stepney had two different whistle sounds, James’s whistle sounded like six tones higher, Thomas used James’s whistle, it was just a lot. If you see the episode “Bowled Out” fro season four, they show James leaving the station, but with a different whistle.
Maybe you can just write down the explanation for the eye mechanism plus the face sculpting, and either put it in the video description or show them as text briefly on screen.
Hey guess what! I’ve seen a replica of a Steam Traction Engine at Wagner Farm, but it looked similar to Trevor the Traction Engine from Thomas & Friends.
I'd say Trevor was a single cylinder rather than SCC (which has two cylinders, one above the other). I think I'd say that appearance wise he looks like an Aveling & Porter steam tractor
Is it me or does it look like Trevor is chaned down like he is some sort of great threat to the world that must be never unchanged. I don't know how you would tie down a vehicle on a train deck, but it is not how it is done with a truck.
Am I the only one who never liked or gave two shits about Trevor? For some reason, Terrence, Bertie, Butch, Bulgy, and Harold were the only non-rail characters I ever liked. I mean, Trevor was just there most of the time.
Teddy Boston Foster is a single cylinder engine, Foster General Purpose Engine works number 14593, "Fiery Elias The engine you showed is a Double crank compound Foster General Purpose Engine works number 12539, "Winnie", which was never owned by Teddy. The engines used in both the RWS and TVS are a Garrett number 4 steam tractor, and is a single cylinder NOT a single crank compound. There single cylinder type left in Europe, this being Garrett Tractor 25565, there are several similar engines of the 4CD type, these being double crank compounds. Teddy Boston's steam roller was a Aveling Porter R10, works number 5163, "Thistledown". The steam roller George in both the RWS and TVS is a Aveling Barford, either R, T or W models. Hope you can use this information for correct the mistakes in your wonderful video. Details and photos of these engines can be found on Steamscenes by using the works numbers I have provided
My grandad father in lore had the opportunity to buy the onragal model but chose not to before you ask I don't know as my grandad told me but he said he forgot what he said
Never been this early before & I had the pleasure of meeting Trevor's Voice Actor Christopher Ragland once 😊 That was pretty cool
Really? You're so lucky.

@@shirokumaotaku Trevor wasn't built by Aveling and Porter
@@eliotreader8220 But I didn't say anything about who he was built by...I said I saw one that looks like his basis 🤨

I've gained a new found respect for Trevor ever since I acquired a couple of small, live steam, Mamod traction engines.
It really is a crime that Trevor never got anymore spotlight episodes. I would have loved to see more of him
It’s a honestly a shame they never used Trevor more, he’s one of my all time favourite characters
same yo
Same. I used to call him litter my outloud. He's A dud my brother always attacked me. Then I started liked him.

Anything you wanna share?
I like Trevor, because he's a traction engine,he was once a scrap engine,he a personality that no one forgets
Trevor serves as such a good complement to Edward’s character, and he plays a role in Thomas’ development, especially with the whole road vs. rail thing. Shame he wasn’t used to his potential
I'd love to see you do a history of Harold next!
Trevor was so popular that he was used in a soap box race
amazing video trainboy!🤍
Surprised that you went through the whole video without Trevor saying "CHILDREN" once.
2:04 Just a single cilinder, not a compound. SCC engines have a different cilinder block

THOMAS: WHAT A PEACEFUL DAY
SCREAMING
THOMAS: WHAT WAS THAT NOISE
TREVOR: IM FAILED AGAIN
THOMAS: TREVOR IS THAT YOU
He was the first vehicle character that was ever made of brass.
4:30 Thomas’ Spinoff character
Gotta admit I really respect Trevor, he's grown on me upon my rewatch of Seasons 2 & 3 and I wish he got a bit more. I also somewhat wish everytime I showed him to one of my friends they would not call him some nasty things.
The 1st road vehicle introduced to me as a kid on Thomas. George, Caroline, Bulgy, Elizabeth, and Sir Topham Hatt's car next
“Oh yes, I like children” maybe don’t say this in public
Yes! Thank you Trainboy I hope that God is good to You!
I would love to see a history of the Troublesome Trucks
I'd like to see a video for Bulgy the Bus. "Bulgy Rides Again" was one of my favorite episodes when I was little.

I'd like to see Awdry's son's books get collected into a big book like the original stories were!
Trevor: (changes whistles twice in CGI)
I Prefer his Model series whistle (Duck’s whistle in high pitch).
I didn't realise that the colour of Trevor's steering wheel was changed from sliver to gold
Endless knowledge from these great videos
A new day a new episode of ttte
I would love to see Molly next.
I understand that Trevor is believed to have been based on the traction engine owned by the Rev Teddy Boston a friend of the Rev Wilbert Awdry.
I think a history of Mighty Mac could be quite interesting
"i LoVe cHiLdReN!!!"

I’m still mad that Thomas & Friends ended in 2021

Traction engines in Australia that are identical to the British
