- This was an absolute pleasure to research; and a bit unexpected as well! I figured Trevor had some real life basis, but little did I know how much!

Never been this early before & I had the pleasure of meeting Trevor's Voice Actor Christopher Ragland once 😊 That was pretty cool
Really? You're so lucky.
@@DavidBContentExtravaganza3967 This will be kind of long 😅 So it was back in October 2018 in London, I went to go see a Musical called Eugenius & Christopher played the Main Character's Father
So when the show was over I saw him & despite the fact that I don't have alot of confidence I just ran straight over to him & explained that I've been a huge fan of Thomas My Whole Life & I asked what it was like providing the voices for Percy & Trevor? Christopher said it was great & the whole voice cast was like one big family
Funnily enough earlier in the day I had been to the Science Museum & had seen a Traction Engine that looked just like Trevor 😃 I even showed the picture to him & he found it pretty cool
Got a photo with him even better 🤩
Dude I wish I was u
@@shirokumaotaku Trevor wasn't built by Aveling and Porter
@@eliotreader8220 But I didn't say anything about who he was built by...I said I saw one that looks like his basis 🤨
I never realized Trevor got a complete large-scale model. That's quite a distinct honor for him, although he definitely deserves it.
Also, I disagree with the choice to stop saying how the eyes work, or how the faces are made. It is true that people watching these as they come out or binge-ing the entire series will probably get used to hearing it, but, if anyone were to watch this episode, and just this episode, in isolation, then they would have to go out of their way to get the eye and face information from another video, or perhaps elsewhere entirely.
I personally would treat every video as if it were the only one, but that's just me.
I've gained a new found respect for Trevor ever since I acquired a couple of small, live steam, Mamod traction engines.
It really is a crime that Trevor never got anymore spotlight episodes. I would have loved to see more of him
It’s a honestly a shame they never used Trevor more, he’s one of my all time favourite characters
same yo
Same. I used to call him litter my outloud. He's A dud my brother always attacked me. Then I started liked him.
I’ve actually worked on the “real life” Trevor, Fiery Elias, though I didn’t realise the connection at the time!
From the mid 90s to the early 2000s, I was a member of the “Steam Apprentice Club” (the youth section of the National Traction Engine Trust) in Britain and would volunteer to maintain and operate various traction engines and steam rollers at steam rallies in different parts of the UK each weekend over the summer months. Great times, until I went to Uni!
Anything you wanna share?
Trevor serves as such a good complement to Edward’s character, and he plays a role in Thomas’ development, especially with the whole road vs. rail thing. Shame he wasn’t used to his potential
2:04 Just a single cilinder, not a compound. SCC engines have a different cilinder block
I like Trevor, because he's a traction engine,he was once a scrap engine,he a personality that no one forgets
I'd love to see you do a history of Harold next!
Surprised that you went through the whole video without Trevor saying "CHILDREN" once.
Can you please do the narrow-gauge breakdown crane? Or maybe just a video covering standard-gauge breakdown cranes, narrow-gauge breakdown cranes, and Rocky?
He was the first vehicle character that was ever made of brass.
amazing video trainboy!🤍
I would love to see a history of the Troublesome Trucks
The 1st road vehicle introduced to me as a kid on Thomas. George, Caroline, Bulgy, Elizabeth, and Sir Topham Hatt's car next
Trevor should of had more stories
Ngl one of my biggest hopes is to find where Trevor went after Drayton, I hope he is ok :( (Stepney to)
I like the Trevor Noah shows. I think he a funny guy. Some comedians out there are out there including Trevor Noah which is way out there. I like this review on Trevor Noah. Not ha-ha funny, but he-he funny.
I like Trevor the traction engine in the show. I like his unique design and how different he is from other engines and characters in the show. Thank you for reading this.
I understand that Trevor is believed to have been based on the traction engine owned by the Rev Teddy Boston a friend of the Rev Wilbert Awdry.
Yes! Thank you Trainboy I hope that God is good to You!
Trevor was so popular that he was used in a soap box race
I think a history of Mighty Mac could be quite interesting
Trevor: (changes whistles twice in CGI)
I Prefer his Model series whistle (Duck’s whistle in high pitch).
I'd like to see a video for Bulgy the Bus. "Bulgy Rides Again" was one of my favorite episodes when I was little.
Trevors model looks awesome
Gotta admit I really respect Trevor, he's grown on me upon my rewatch of Seasons 2 & 3 and I wish he got a bit more. I also somewhat wish everytime I showed him to one of my friends they would not call him some nasty things.
Endless knowledge from these great videos
"Fiery Elias...was actually owned by the Rev. W. Awdry's friend, the Rev. Teddy Boston."
"Boston's Widow, Audrey, still owns Fiery Elias."
Those 2 statements confused me for a few seconds. lol
I didn't realise that the colour of Trevor's steering wheel was changed from sliver to gold
I would love to see Molly next.
How about some more side characters, Caroline or speaking of road vehicles how about Sir Topham Hatt's personal vehicle?
I love Trevor the Traction Engine too! 😊
A new day a new episode of ttte
Great video Id like to see the trucks next
I Did Think Of Three More Characters For This Series:
*Stanley*
*Billy*
*Hank*
Nevermind I Found More:
*Salty*
*Arthur*
*Bulgy*
I'd like to see Awdry's son's books get collected into a big book like the original stories were!
It’s time to get back into this. You need to do Arthur, Stanley and salty
RIP YOUR BROTHER DUDE
Also the production crew of Thomas and Friends Season three couldn’t figure out the whistles either. Stepney had two different whistle sounds, James’s whistle sounded like six tones higher, Thomas used James’s whistle, it was just a lot. If you see the episode “Bowled Out” fro season four, they show James leaving the station, but with a different whistle.
I Wouldn't mind see the Pack Character Nelson the Ballast Tractor.
Trevor the traction engine is also a fav of mine
"i LoVe cHiLdReN!!!"
Please do one on MightyMac because I want to learn the techniques to make him
Maybe you can just write down the explanation for the eye mechanism plus the face sculpting, and either put it in the video description or show them as text briefly on screen.
Next video: history of Bulgy the bus is model history of ttte
I know you may not see this but I’d love to see one on the troublesome trucks please 😁😁
Hey guess what! I’ve seen a replica of a Steam Traction Engine at Wagner Farm, but it looked similar to Trevor the Traction Engine from Thomas & Friends.
Trevor is a favourite of mine
Elizabeth for the poll lol....glad seeing trevor
TREVOR: IM GOT APPLE
THOMAS: WHAT A PEACEFUL DAY
SCREAMING
THOMAS: WHAT WAS THAT NOISE
TREVOR: IM FAILED AGAIN
THOMAS: TREVOR IS THAT YOU
Very nice
4:30 Thomas’ Spinoff character
Can you make a history of Harold the Helicopter and his models? 🚁
Can you do the history of hector and his models
I'd say Trevor was a single cylinder rather than SCC (which has two cylinders, one above the other). I think I'd say that appearance wise he looks like an Aveling & Porter steam tractor
thank you train boy can you make one on molly please
Can you do Mighty Mac?
Edwards best friend, and a friend to children!
He is the best road vehicle I like
trevor's small scale model season 2 1986-season 12 2008
trevor's large scale model jack and the sodor construction company 2003-season 9 2005
Trevor is so based
I’m still mad that Thomas & Friends ended in 2021
1:51 George and Buster don’t share the same basis though
I want amtrak superliner
I would love to see the nevile pls
what about the express coaches?
I guess Trevor got through a lot of steam whistles then
the depiction of trevor in memes is amoraltra but tractor

You think the reverend that owns Trevor is supposed to be a character based on Audrey
Funny enough trevors basis has my real name: Elias 😂😂😂

“Oh yes, I like children” maybe don’t say this in public
My grandad father in lore had the opportunity to buy the onragal model but chose not to before you ask I don't know as my grandad told me but he said he forgot what he said
Everbody when a new history model epsiode comes out: *CLICK*
Me: *causl watch’s after school*
Traction engines in Australia that are identical to the British
Red
Caroline
Is it me or does it look like Trevor is chaned down like he is some sort of great threat to the world that must be never unchanged. I don't know how you would tie down a vehicle on a train deck, but it is not how it is done with a truck.
Trevor seems like the kind of guy who is on allowed to be within 200 feet of a playground 😐🤣 cuz of his... Love of children
Please
“Oh yes, I like children…”
Bro tophams car plz
I guess you ask and you shall recieve
Oh damn, I’m hella early by chance
Man when the display pieces up and f'ing walk away by themselves you know drayton manor is bad.
