2018 Camaro: Secondary cats deleted

- Today video I headed back to the muffler shop to get the secondary cats (catalytic converters) removed. Doing this made a slight difference how the exhaust sounds. For sure hear more aggressive and crackling noise for sure.
Let me know what you guys think down below, Was it a bad idea or good idea?

Does the car feel like it has better flow and those it feel faster

Just did mine I have the corsa axle back already but honesty by deleted the secondary cat it didn't make a big difference kinda sounds the same the pops are bit louder tho
JIMMY SS at idle it stayed louder from what I noticed and for sure popped louder and more.
Would you recommend the Sec delete? I have the same set up, Corsa Axel back. Debating. But If it’s not much of a difference I’ll just go with a roto fab and go for that whine…😜. I’m in Cali so I would have to save my stock air intake.

Those aren’t sensors those are just valves for the active exaust it won’t throw check engine light, and camaros don’t have resonators they have a muffler in the back and primary and secondary cats
I didn’t have active exhaust on this.
@@JBTRUCKN You have the NPP Valve for the dual mode muffler and there is the AFM valve. the thing you point is the AFM valve not the NPP or the o2 sensor .
Will cutting the secondaries void the warranty?

What shop you go to? I’m from Chicago too got my secondary cats deleted about 4 days ago check engine light came on I’m thinking it was the way they welded it was poorly
Rene Santana oh ok that’s wassup. I went out to the suburbs. And i haven’t came across no lights from getting it deleted. But look up JR mufflers in gurnee.

Yes that’s the secondary cat delete, they shouldn’t charge more than 200

No it won’t secondary cat delete won’t trigger check engine light but primary cats will

JIMMY SS nope. You’ll be good. I was told it has 4 in total. So removing two wouldn’t be an issue if done correctly.
