the movie fades out beautifully, the end ties it up perfectly and still leaves you feeling hurt, because the inevitable happened. the book however, leaves you shocked or even nauseous, it really tore everything apart in me and destroyed you completely. in a dramaturgical way equally as perfect, but definitely not for the light hearts. probably a seldom example of both good movie and book and i think both endings are well written

Have faith in JESUS CHRIST as LORD and SAVIOR for HE SAVES from hell❗️ *What is the Gospel?* The true gospel is the good news that God saves sinners. Man is by nature sinful and separated from God with no hope of remedying that situation. But God, by His power, provided the means of man’s redemption in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Savior, Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of GOD, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Romans 10:9 9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. JESUS CHRIST can come anytime! Just Believe ❤️ Love you and GOD BLESS
Just watched this movie and i can’t stop crying. It makes me remind of my late husband, who died for the same disease a year ago. I miss him so damn much.
To anyone who hasn’t watched it it’s really good amazing for a great cry. But it’s not only about sadness it’s about the joy you can find within the sadness
I cried thru this whole movie. I didn't really know what it was going to be about. I just saw the cast and assumed it would be good. I cried and cried and cried.
Honestly, I think it's cruel to force someone to give up one of their organs (kidney) even if it'll save someone else. Idc if your other child is ill, you can't force anyone to do this...
And yet, disgusting humanity does this very thing - AND FAR WORSE - to the innocent, helpless animal kingdom every single second of everyday. We *CRUELLY* TAKE that which isn't ours, to serve ourselves.
2 important points people might miss in this movie. One is that the cancer sister asked that she be allowed to die and stop suffering and encouraged her healthy sister to refuse any more donations when mom asked and that was the main reason why she goes to court not for her own body. During most of the movie they make it look like she is in court for herself only. Also, the lawyer was just being funny to the healthy sister when he said his dog detects magnets because his lung is made of iron. The service dog he had sniffs out seizures before they happen and alerts help. Thats why the dog barked during the court hearing.
This movie was so sad i love it but this is what really happends its so sad i send my love and blessings to all that have cancer and im praying for you

i think the book's ending is kinda like saying be careful what you wish for to sara because she wanted kate to survive but she also wanted anna to obediently donate her organ
@TrigonSpawn835 In the book Anna is in a car with her lawyer after the trial and get t-boned causing her to become brain-dead. Due to the medical emancipation, the lawyer agrees to the kidney donation and it actually saves Kate who becomes a ballet teacher. Basically, they switch who died at the end. Also in the book, after they win the trial Anna was going to donate her kidney anyways. So had she not been in the car wreck everyone would have lived.
