I found it interesting that it was never mentioned that they liked each other but throughout the whole movie you just feel how perfect they are together and bounce off each other so well. I'd only just watched it for the first time last night. I don't think the world fully realises Hugh Grant's calibre yet . He used to elevate even the dumbest of romcoms to a wittier and cleverer level. An actor of very rare talent, range, charisma, looks and intelligence
Or we're "conditioned" that way. It's easy to just consider women pleasing and serviceable and then some you really dig and some you loathe more than any evil tyrant man.

Does anyone noticed that the speech in the church (trailer version) is different from the movie? And the joke "thats a silly, you've met everyone on the planet?" said by Hugh Grant, is in a different scenario and context in the movie.
Nothing can beat the early 2000 movies but I especially Miss movies from the '90s and mid-90s I wish we had more directors that can direct normal movies except high definition movies but just a normal movie with human to human conversation. Now these days everyone is on their cell phones through Twitter youtube Instagram why can't we go back to those days where is no cell phones and there's more human connection

That is what happens when the adds for the movie come out while the director is still doing the final cuts on the movie!!!!!!!! It happens all the time!!!!!! Some idiot figures THIS will never be cut from the movie - and - you guessed it - it is cut form the movie!!!!!! The most famous was the Scarecrow's 3 minute dance in "The Wizard of OZ"!! It was COMPLETELY cut from the movie (when Dorothy first meets the scarecrow) because Dorothy & Scarecrow were having an affair on the farm - and THAT was also taken out - except for 1 line where Dorothy says "I think I'll miss you the most!"!!!!!! Who knew?!?!?!
I just saw it cause it's leaving Netflix soon. Except for Wade being verbally cruel which is a bad example, I enjoyed this story. I feel like people put more work into movies when this was made. I think Grant and Bullock are brilliantly casted. The dialogue is original and well-timed. I cried at the end.
