- Do you want to keep the OEM look of your vents but just have them glow? This video will show you what I did to my Kia Stinger's vents to make them really pop during the day and especially at night.
This little mod just boosted the interior of this car that much more!
The LEDs are bright and impressive. They are the same LEDs I used for my exterior side vents and engine bay - be sure to watch those videos as well!
Note: These are not the pre-made alternate style (Mercedes) vents that would had required cutting, dremeling, and glueing pieces together.
This was a custom job utilizing the Stinger's own vents and just adding LED strips inside them with their own controller. This way was cheaper and easier. For less than $70 and a few hours of your time, this transformation is well worth it, keeps the functionality of the vents, and overall better IMO.
DIY HOW-TO
Below are the items that I used and links to where to purchase:

Hey! Thanks for this, I've always been a OEM+ type of guy and this fits perfectly. One question tho, and I cant seem to find if it's possible... Is there a way where you can control the vent LEDs with the dashboard interface color selection for the light bars? That way it matches up? I know there is a module that the light bars at attached to, so I was assuming one would just tap into it, but like I said, I can't seem to find out if this is could work.
I'm not sure if it would work. I feel that the LED controller would conflict with the car's ambient lighting module. Maybe someone with a little more experience can chime in. I wasn't able to test since my Stinger does not come with the factory ambient lighting.
Ah okay, got it! I'm now wondering if the LEDS would work if you spliced them into the OEM light bar wires that go to the ambient lighting module. Ill try it when i order all the stuff and report back!
