Are there any hit and miss engines you would recommend, that parts are easy to find? I have always wanted one of these but truly don't know what I would use it for. I just enjoy my old Gravely walk behind tractor collection, as I have used those little tractors in my garden and around our small farm for 20 years.
@curtrn there are a lot of makes. If you want a cheap engine they are not technically hit miss but they look similar, some of these makes include cushman engines, lb la internationals. You can buy those for around 300 running. Now some other options that are a little more expensive are witte, economy, Hercules. I would advise you hop on Facebook and get connected with hit miss engine collectors group. Also you can buy corn grinders, water pumps, corn shellers, line shafts that you can belt your engines to. I sometimes pump water with my engines. Ill put a video up at some point showing that
