Will It Start, no, no it won't. Attempting to start a 6hp cs lister Diesel engine

In this video I will ultimately fail at getting this engine to run. But I will share anyway. I run. through the oiling system, fuel system and much more. You will see why non detergent oil is important in these old engines. Toward end of video you will see my stover belted up to the lister in a attempt to start.

I believe there are quite a lot of new Lister parts still available

Yea alot of them. I guess a factory in India still makes the lister engine and are still in use today.
