front engined V12 manual Ferarris are going extinct so you should absolutely buy one. Gated manual only.
Guessing manual 612s are hard to come by in RHD?
Enzo Ferrari once said: Only a V12 is a real Ferrari! He never liked the V6 and V8 engines.
Sounds about right. He wasn’t overly concerned with road cars at all, whatever engine. Racing was his life and passion.
I heard he only started building cars for public roads in order to fund his racing passion.
Hugely colour sensitive. Needs to be metallic paint and ideally darker hues. The classic red does it no favours whatsoever.
I agree. In person, the red didn’t look too bad but a dark blue would be my choice.
100% red does not suite this Ferrari. Metallic colours definitely do especially black, dark blue, white, grey and silver
The major belt service that cost 6K two years ago now cost over 15K! Simply ripping people off at this point!

I have an FF but also love the 612...would you recommend it in addition to FF or is it to similar
The FF was effectively the successor to the 612 so in that sense they play the same role. If you want RWD only and a more retro look the 612 is an attractive addition and well priced at the moment.
This is my dream car and i’m going to get it.
You could do much worse - it is a very capable car and pretty good value at the moment. Good luck.

The 612 is a lot of Ferrari for the money but quite a bit more than a contemporary QP
