After more than 700 hours spent on the game, I only discovered yesterday that there was another music 10 minutes before the Nook store closes. It was a magical moment, really. This music is beautiful!
@@desousalea5797 That's based off an actual thing in Japan where some stores, parks etc. will play something (often Auld Lang Syne) to alert everyone it's near closing time.
If you have a musical instrument next to a music player like a stereo or record player, and have a KK album playing, when you touch the insturment, it will play a note in tune with the current song that is playing.
I was talking with Clay just now in his house and he said to me, “Do you watch lots of TV? I sure do! There’s so much stuff on, I can veg out all day and never get bored! This one time, though… Gosh. This is gonna sound weird, but I swear it really happened. I feel asleep in front of the TV and woke up in the middle of the night. I’m still not real sure what I saw! Was I watching’ TV, or was it watchin’ me? Anyway, I feel like it happened around 3:30 AM… thump.” I’m guessing that this is in reference to the alien that appears on TV at 3:33 AM. All these years I had no idea that there was any dialogue referring to it until literally just now! 👽🛸 Super fun! I’ve logged something like 1,250 hours and never knew there was villager reference to it! Love that!
@@JudeTavonFenwick Oh! “It” is an Easter Egg in the game where at 3:33am on one of the TVs you can see an alien on the TV (I believe a snippet of it is used in this very video as a transition cut). If I remember correctly it’s after the TV signal has “gone off the air” for several hours and it’s just showing static or something, and then for a brief minute at 3:33 the alien transmission cuts in. Look into it! 😙 (I can’t remember if it only occurs in a particular TV or if it’s on all of them. In a similar vein, there’s a wallpaper - a foresty one I think? - which when you turn the lights off in your home with it up, a ghost appears. It moves around between light flicks or something, I think? Can’t quite recall, but it’s also a neat little Easter egg!)
@@pedrovictorsilvaladeira7877 interesting thought! I just looked up Lazy-type villagers in the AC fandom wiki page and saw this, which may somewhat answer your question! “In New Horizons, lazy villagers will talk about the bugs living in the walls of their house about as often as they talk about food. Also, on very rare occasions, they become meta and tell players about how weird it is that trees have fast-growing fruit or that there's "pretty music everywhere". Then, at the end, they will laugh it off and tell the player they were joking, and how they fell asleep in front of their TVs and had weird dreams.” In my interaction he didn’t mention pretty music, so I’m not sure if they’ll bring up the TV thing in either situation, but it sounds fairly common! I saw another video recently where another commenter had mentioned their villager bringing this up with many people saying they’d had this conversation too, so it must be at least fairly common. I’m fairly early on in the game with Clay, so maybe your friendship needs to be on the lower end? I have Jacob (also lazy) in my older game, and I’ve never had this exchange with him that I can recall, so it makes me wonder - but every now and then I do get new (is me) dialogue still, so it’s tough to say. FWIW, both Jacob and Clay are in their starter homes - which is to say they’re in the dirt-floor house of being one of my first five villagers, not their own unique homes. I can’t remember if there’s a TV in them though! Possibly they have the Apple TV.
Here's something you might not know, villagers play instruments in time with gyroids. I have a drum set up in front of a wallopoid to look like he's playing it. But I set it backwards and sometimes I see villagers playing it. But they only play it when the gyroid moves.
@sonicguyver7445 I think what's actually happening is that the villagers are playing in time to whatever song would be on your radio if you had one nearby, and the gyroids are also time-locked to this song! So they're synchronized, because they're synced to the song!
This game has a lot of hidden details and it's so fun and amazing to discover years later. This is why I love Animal Crossing, it's so unique. "METEOR SHOWER"
You can save items in the recycle bin. Place the items near you and use the island designer clean-up tool. Items will go into the recycle bin - a little extra storage.
I have over 1600 hours on this game since it's release, and I still actively play several times a week. I'm looking forward to seeing if there is any I don't know... GAME ON~!!
Wilbur also has some dialogue about the broadcast! He doesn't mention it directly, but if you're on the archipelago or Harvey's island and try to go to the other, he will tell you he can't take you there and he must take you home instead for a classified reason.
I’ve been away from the game for the past couple of years and just getting back into it. It’s nice to still be discovering new things about the game all these years later
@@KatheD It is most definitely guaranteed. I've been on Kapp'n trips hundreds of times, and it has always been true. If you look on page 232 of the Official AC guide, it says, "If [Katrina] deduces that you'll have good luck with belongings, you're guaranteed to visit an island with seasonal materials, star fragments, or glowing moss on that day."
I'm playing regularly since 4 years and started a new island recently. It took me 4 years to notice the skull wallpaper you can sometimes buy at Nook's Cranny has a glow in the dark effect, when you turn off all the lamps in your house, but if vanishes as soon as you turn the light on again and it takes a few seconds to come back, when you turn it off again.
Everyone probably knows this... but there are two things with K.K. concert. First, go and sit for a while on the chairs and other villagers will also show up. Once there are several, then ask K.K. for a request. Second, hold a Colorful Light Stick >>> Before you sit down again, hold a Colorful Light Stick (or Light Stick, but the colorful one is more fun). Then sit down for his song to begin. When he starts and everyone jumps up, everyone will have a Colorful Light Stick. As he plays, click A and everyone will lift their stick, making it change color, or hold A so everyone holds their stick in the air and shakes it.
Similar to Orville, if you have Happy Home Paradise and start the day anywhere on the archipelago, Wilbur will refuse to fly you to Harv's Island directly before you have listened to Isabelle's announcement.
Ok, you get me. I didn't know about the secret dodo message about the new day broadcast neither the clock plaza little guy. It's amazing how many little secrets this game have
I just restarted my Island a month ago and the lack of "Yes" caused me to sell a fish that I did not realize had not been donated. when I checked my check list for what fish and bugs would be spawning later I was like, "but I caught that one already, I'm sure"
can't say any of these are new to me. I play acnh almost every day. I even knew the sword one since I did that once before on my isle. and I knew that trashy sets are only found in the recycling bin. and I remember playing acnh till early morning, tow here I was going to travel again, but wasn't allowed because of the broadcast. so nothing new to me here
Why nodded switch? Just check your weather on the hour, put the weather into meteonook and if you have enough info, it will tell you which seed you have
I wish they would release an animal crossing game and actively support it; they would have no idea how many fans they have and how much we hunger for more content.
