The bass is Geoff Castellucci. He is the bass of the group and spans a recorded vocal range of C#1 to A5. Like Avi is the king of resonance and Tim is the king of growl, Geoff dominates subharmonic bass. If you want a music video that highlights his specific range, you can listen to VoicePlay's Oogie Boogie's Song. It's by no means a "normal" song, but it showcases almost the full capacity of what Geoff can do. The person with the very high timbre is Earl. He made no technique-related alteration to his voice so that's actually what he sounds like whenever he sings.
Queen in 5 minutes also shows the capacity of Geoff, and so does Phantom of the Opera even tho that one is easy to focus more on Rachel's and Tony's vocals
The bass is Geoff ( the one with the long hair) Eli (pronounced L-EE) is a tenor (the bald guy) Earl is also a tenor I believe (the one with the beard and the high voice) Layne is the beatboxer/ vocal percussionist J.None is the baritone (the black guy) VoicePlay is my favorite a cappella group!! And you guys have a new subscriber😁
"Who dat?" Dat be Geoff Castellucci! He is an amazing Bass, and awesome in Voiceplay, but also has his own channel. He does several readings on it, like "The Raven" by Poe. His voice is like the audio version of immersing yourself in a perfect temperatured jacuzzi, while someone you adore feeds you top of the line chocolates and while you sip sweet wine...He also has some singing tutorials. Now go do "Oogie Boogie's Song," "Billie Eilish in 3 Minutes" then "Panic At The Disco parts one and two" and "Queen in Five Minutes!" all by Voiceplay! Just for a start! And for something that is purely about their voices, "Bridge Over Troubled Waters" by them as well. Also, if you're looking to react to something, fantastic parodies of movies and TV shows and songs, look up "The Hillywood Channel." Also, Peter Hollens, Whitney Avalon, and Paint. (More A Cappella Music.) Oh, and did you notice that they sang parts of the BTS song in Korean?
Yes that is Earls (the big guy with the beard) real voice. Also when they are singing Walk Like a Man and it cuts to the people saying,”You should see the size of his wallet, that is all of their significant others.
Voice Play = Panic in 4 minutes, Billie in 4 minutes, Daddy Sang Bass, Any of their Accra Top 10s. Oh and a hilarious video of them doing a skit called “Road Trip”.
Voiceplay were in the Sing-Off the same year as Home Free, and they've continued to be good friends. If you look at their ACA Top 10 Bro Country, you'll see a guest appearance from Chris Rupp, the former baritone and founder member of HF - it's another fun one to react to.
When a person sings in upper register (the high voice) it's called falsetto. Earl's falsetto is next level. If you watch their live version of Elvira, you can hear his bass too. Man is amazing.
Two wonderful videos by VoicePlay you should check out are The Halo Theme and The Dragonborn Comes Skyrim. Both are taken from video games but you don't have to be a gamer to fall in love with these songs; I'm not and I did. Dragonborn is a new one, dropped less than a week ago. It starts off with a veryvery low note from Geoff Castellucci and just gets better from there. The guest singer, rounding out the number to five, Jose Cordona, also sang with them in Carry On Wayward Son. The guest singer for Halo is Scott Porter. Scott was a founding member of VoicePlay, even before they were called VoicePlay, and has since gone into acting. He has an important message after that song is over, so keep listening. The friend he mentions is the big black guy who drops off the sandwich in this video. Oh, and "the size of his wallet"...that's four of the guys significant others.
@@YvesAndDeisiReacts As long as you have Voice Play and Geoff (Castalucci - he also has a channel) you will find more subscribers. With the season, check out Oogie Boogie- Earl (high tenor) does a crazy voice and you will see a great range from Geoff. On Geoff's channel, don't miss his Halloween offering. If you are a Tolkien fan, check out Far Over the Misty Mountains Cold where Geoff clones himself and harmonizes with himself as Thorin Oakenshield, Gimli and .... one other. If you are a movie fan, Hoist the Colours (Pirates of the Caribbean 3) is not to be missed, as well as some of their Disney medleys. (Little Mermaid is my fave.) Gamers? Be sure to check out their covers of HALO and My Mother Told Me from Assassin's Creed. I don't game but they are impressive nonetheless. (They also did a series of shorts and the Minecraft and Dr. Who are two of them.)
Yay nkotb. Been a Blockhead 31 years now and they are still going strong. Just missing Dream street (Jesse McCartney. And RIP Chris Trousdale) and Westlife
Even if you guys don’t get much views on specific, keep grinding, love your guys reaction videos, you u guys should do VoicePlay - Tennessee whiskey or home free ft avi Kaplan - ring of fire 😍😍
