Hello AirsoftMike. Now I have some of these and the 1st thing I noticed, you haven't mentioned so here's what I noticed, feel free to check it yourself. The lenses that come fitted are the only lenses that are Polorised and if you take them out and compare them to the other lenses that come with it, the clear, yellow and smoke, you will notice the Polorised lenses are very flexible compared to the other lenses which seem Much more tough. I think the Polorised lenses are only designed to be used as sunglasses and not ballistic resistance. The other lenses are much more solid and more likey to be ballistic spec. Kind regards, a fellow Mike 😊
Well the polarised lenses withstand up to 1.7j point blank. I tested this because I got shot on the left lens shattering the lens. The dude that shot me said he used his sidearm with 0.25gr@0.9j which I think is hard to believe since I tested it on the other lens. My conclusion is that this sniper hit me with 0.36gr@2.3j from a distance of 6 meters. All in all the polarised lenses do not protect you when people ignore the minimal engagement distance of their replica configuration. I dont know about the other lenses.
I use Oakley Flak 2.0 shot it pointblank with my trusty kwa mp7 + angrygun which shoots around 502 fps using .3 bbs and it didn't even dent it there are scratches on the parts where I shot it so yeah I trust it very much I do play allot in open fps
Hey Mike I live in Germany I could only find the airsoft guns in local store but not so many models Can you tell me some brands or website i can buy airsoft with international shipping?
Very cool glasses - I use mine for running & mountain bike riding. Does anyone know if the lens change colour with the weather - less/more sunny - do they go lighter & darker. I put the yellow lens in, as when I am MTB riding in the forest, if I have regular dark glasses on I cannot see a thing - age - its a shocker. So I figured the yellow for a bit of protection from squinting etc & I can still see where I am going. Anyway if any of you folk think I've got the wrong lens in would be good to know. Cheers Eddie
@@Gummo2020 actually ESS and SPECS goggles used by the US military, while designed to stop primarily shrapnel will stop shotgun pellets and reportedly 9mm pistol rounds, they are incredibly thick high quality poly carbonate. Of course high speed rifle round will still penetrate easily.
Try the G&G SR-S/ SR-L/ SR-XL, it's an improved version of the combat machine line and includes a mosfet and an electronic trigger unit. Should least AT LEAST until you save up enough for another gun, should you choose to.
hi Airsoft Mike I would like to send you a link to a gun that I've just bought I'm a newer softer I want you to review it for me if you can please respond if you'd like the link

I cant find it anywhere are there actually safety rated?
No they are not. Mike pretty much makes that point.
Daisy is a good maker, but I have mainly used the air guns they made. You know firing metal ammo. That would most likely make the glasses fail.
should buy the emg salient arms gry, it is a AWESOME airsoft gun
i love airsoft, but my country dont sell or ship it to here.to bad
