Dude, thanks for posting this (all those years ago), I've just bought a pair for when I'm working outside and I wanted yellow lens. When I got them I could figure how to change the lens. I contacted the company I got them from asking for a youtube video or just instructions and got nothing back so I am truly grateful to you. Hope you are well and still riding. Cheers, Mick🇬🇧🇨🇦
Excellent review, guide actually!Thanx al lot man!Watched this before buying from ebay for about 14 bucks.I needed a cheap pair for night hours driving, but these may become my all day and night glasses. Awesome money/value!
Thank you for your nicely explained X7 glasses unboxing video. It was really helpful. I couldn’t make out how to take the lenses on and off and I was afraid to break them so I was lucky to come across your post. Thanks a bunch man!
Yeah I really liked the C5 glasses, but definitely like the X7 even more. They just fit me better. But honestly Im glad to have both. It's like having 8 pairs of glasses!!
Hi there - got my Daisy X7's today - really cool. I am going to use them for Mountain BIke riding as I am finding now that I'm getting older, I am struggling when hooning through the trails & I get into lots of Native Bush ( I am from New Zealand) with heaps off overhang of foliage etc that if I have regular dark glasses on I just cannot see & if I keep that up I'm going to hit a massive rock or something & do some serious damage to myself. So after seeing the video I reckoned the Daisy was for me. So I have interchanged the lens to insert the yellow lens , and then I saw a post down below that mentioned night vision?, so I just wanted to call out to you all and make sure I have put the right lens for me in the glasses, I could have put the clear in but I figured that bit of yellow could help with not squinting but I will happily change if you think I have the wrong ones in. Do any of the lenses change with the weather changing e.g. more sunny - less sunny ? Thanks for reading & also big thanks for the vid - very helpful & I look forward to any suggestions. I am also going to use them for running. Hear from you soon. Cheers Carron
I use mine for riding a motorcycle and I tend to use the yellow ones a lot at night, but depending on the conditions I definitely use the clear lenses as well. I think it really depends on your preferences. As far as lenses that get darker when it gets brighter I'm actually not a fan as the process doesn't happen fast enough. So If I go into a tunnel it takes to long for the glasses to lighten up. Which can be very dangerous. Same as exiting the tunnel. Let us know what you think of the glasses after you've been wearing them for a while. Our riding season will be starting here soon, so ill be wearing these again almost daily.
Just purchased a set of these off ebay after watching your very helpful, comprehensive review. Superb all round shades I must say! I really love them tho with the strap attached in place of the actual arms, useful for practically any outdoor sport or use really. I think these are excellent, and multifunctional....and all for under £10 👍🧐
Watching the video while wearing the X7, I can't wear it without the pads like you since my eyelashes kinda brush against it. I bought them for riding on my bike and they're great for me. I also find that pushing the lens from the bottom makes them pop out with no effort. The angle of the bottom part of the frame helps a lot with removal and replacement of the lenses.
Extremely useful! Just could not figure out how to change how change the lens or put on the straps. Daisy should pay you for this video. Thanks a million!
if you watch most of my bike videos. you will see that most of the time I'm wearing these glasses. I've been very happy with them. especially for the price.
Cruisn Canada They'll arrive tomorrow. The selling point for me was the removable arms and the band. The arms on all my other glasses usually break the seal on my ear Pro, hopefully this will solve that problem.
I purchased one of those and they look good, but my only complain is that they feel too tight at the temple on both sides and sometimes I feel that is cutting the blood circulation to my brain. The width of my prescription glasses from one tip of the frame arms to the other is 4 3/4 inches and the width on the Daisy X7 is 4 inches. My prescription lenses are not loose at all nor they are too tight. I guess the 3/4 inch difference in width from one arm of the frame to the other makes a lot of difference and that is why I feel them way too tight. Thanks for your help and thanks to your video I was able to remove the foam piece. Too bad I can't wear them, but I like the design and the extra lenses which no other sunglasses manufacturer provides to their customers.
Hey man! Great review! Love it! What you can tell about the lens? Are they good quality, I mean, not resistance, but for eyes in long use? Thanks a lot!
For the price I have no complaints. I keep them in their case when i'm not using them and haven't gotten any scratches on them, which is always good. I wear them a lot, especially when riding my motorcycle, which was my main reason for buying them. And if something does happen to them, they aren't expensive so i can always buy another pair!
Hey man, great video. First, that beard is epic, well done sir. Second, I have a question. How do they fit you? You look like you have an average sized head. Mine is a little wider than most, so I'm a bit concerned about them fitting too tight on me. What are your thoughts? Do they have enough play and stretch to fit a wider head?
with helmets and hats I wear a XL and these glasses fit me great. very happy with them. I think you should be ok. And thanks for the beard comment. Its my 'winter' beard. Its back to a short/normal length now.
Ive had them for almost 2 years now and they are still working great. no issues. i have lots of sunglasses but these are one of my favourites. Wear them a lot.
Great review! A question; i dont like when glasses are to wide and pop out on the side of the head. I want them to sit tight around the head. My head is in the small/medium size i guess. Are these glasses wide?
Thanks for the great review mate. These glasses are awesome now that I know how to remove the lenses :-) As you say the price is right as I'm always loosing or sitting on glasses or they get stolen. I leave my Aus$250.00+ Ray Bann Aviators in the 4x4 as they are too heavy to wear on top of your head or tucked into the neck of a T shirt but the X7's fit the bill very nicely indeed.
Would they be suitable as a range glasses? If the gun suffers a catastrophic malfunction, would they be able to protect the eye? They are quite expensive here in Brazil and are advertised as actual military googles that will serve for this purpose
if you are referring to the yellow lenses I think they work really well. I switch between those and the non tinted lenses a lot. The yellow ones give you way more definition.
haha.. no worries. The X7's are one of my favourite pairs of sunglasses. Really happy with them, especially for the price! Ill probably end up grabbing a second pair if these ones break.
I really like these, but I am more interested in the clear lenses. Are they truly clear or do they have any kind of tint. The reason I ask, is because I’m looking at safety glasses for my job and I need clear lenses. Any help would be appreciated.👌
I bought a pair of these the other day. They look great and look like good quality. WRONG! I wanted them for riding my motorcycle with my open face helmet. I've used many glasses over the years and never had a problem. These lasted the least amount of time. 4 DAYS! After just 4 days I was taking the glasses off and I noticed one of the arms looked bent in the middle. I looked closer and it was cracked and pretty much straight away, it broke. I couldn't find anywhere that sell just the arms. I then threw the whole package in the bin and learnt my lesson.....you get what you pay for!
Thanks for the great review! Glasses are nice and come with a lot of extras. Would have been nice if they had included some instructions as to how to change out everything - your review helps a lot there. Does anyone know which lenses are for what? The Amazon page says you get Polarized, anti-glare, UVA/UVB, and Night Vision. But which colors do which? Thanks! Jim
G'day Mate. I'm educated guessing. You get four lens. Dark polarized; not so dark, (anti glare); clear (safety) and yellow. The Yellow are the ones used at night as they make the night brighter. They are also used for driving at night as they cut down on the glare from oncoming vehicle headlights. Hope that helps.
Thanks man. Question: mine came with a little "test" picture saying "wear glasses to see the beautiful pattern", but I didn't see anything different. Did yours come with that? and if they did, which lenses are this test supposed to test? the polarized ones?
David de Zeeuw great question. Sadly I don’t know the answer as I never wear them in conditions that fogging could happen. Hopefully someone here can answer that question.
Timmy C Ent -the folks at the optical place inside my local walmart tell me that they can put rx lenses in any sunglasses brought to them. indeed I will be ordering a pair shortly for just that reason
+Dale Cuthbertson I’m sure they are made in China which always brings the price down. I’ve used them all riding season and they have been great. And at that price I could just buy another pair if something happens to them. But I’ve definitely gotten my money’s worth from them.
Well...I might just be getting older and that's what it is, but if you can get a decent build quality, stylish looks with practicality and functionality for 20 bucks, why in the hell would you pay in excess off 100 bucks for a pair of ray bans or other named brand wich offers only good quality and style, not practical or functional like these....where is the logic?
The glasses themselves are pretty good, but the accessories are cheaply made and very fragile. My head strap has 2 of the same connectors on it so I can't connect my headstrap. When I tried to put my velcro strap on the arms, the rubber piece immediately snapped. Overall I give them a 6 out of 10. Just because the accessories are piss poor quality. The glasses themselves and the arms are of great quality though.
i bought two pairs of these Daisy riding glasses with the four different lenses and the frame crackes in the middle below lense not happy with purchase they show beating on them with a hammer but they crack with normal wear im not the only person this has happened to would not recomend these glasses they are garbage
I got Daisy USA Military sport glasses in a square case and three color lenses. I cannot install the lenses. They don't fit in the frame. Piece of crap. In the trash they go. Don't buy this crap.

You should have tested the polarization of the dark glasses and the anti glare of the other lenses.
Is it true that the 3 lenses that are not polarized are anti glare?
Dude, thanks for posting this (all those years ago), I've just bought a pair for when I'm working outside and I wanted yellow lens. When I got them I could figure how to change the lens. I just ordered mine this morning, i hope it will arrive as soon as i expected..thanks for the reviews..
very welcome. these are definitely one of my favourite pairs of sunglasses. Thanks for the comment!
Thanks a lot man, just ordered me a pair of these goggles.
Will primarily use them when driving my Willys around town.
Yeah so far I've been very happy with them. For $20 you can't go wrong. Hope you enjoy them!
Thank you for your nicely explained X7 glasses unboxing video. It was really helpful. I couldn’t make out how to take the lenses on and off and I was afraid to break them so I was lucky to come across your post. Thanks a bunch man!
ISAIAS C glad you found the video useful. Thanks for the comment. Hope you enjoy the glasses.
Great video, thanks for the info on how to change lens. I rode with this right after I got them, very comfortable
Thanks. These are still one of my favourite pairs of glasses!
Another great review. Watched your C5 review first but after watching this one I will more likely get the X7s.
Yeah I really liked the C5 glasses, but definitely like the X7 even more. They just fit me better. But honestly Im glad to have both. It's like having 8 pairs of glasses!!
Melhor unboxing demonstrativo que vi até agora sobre esse óculos!
Falo aqui do Brasil! 🇧🇷
Obrigado. Muito apreciado!
Very solid video. Never knew what to do with my extra lenses until I saw this. Thanks
Thanks for this video....just bought my ESS DAISY today. Now I know how to change lenses👍👍
Glad it helped.
Thanks! Didn't know if I was taking out the arms correctly so had to Google for instructions and found your video.
Glad it helped.

Thank you! I played with them for quite a while trying to figure out how to change the lens without breaking it. :)
Glad it helped!
So did I! Thanks
Thanks for the comprehensive instructions.Good stuff!❤️👌
Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for the comment.
Just received these glasses, they are really good
Yeah i really like them as well.
Awesome review. I agree with you it was easier to change the lenses with the older pair but I like these new ones better despite that.
Agree. Thanks for the comment.

Great review! I just got my kit in the mail yesterday!
+Patrick Page I'm really enjoying mine. Hope yours work out for you!
Thank you !! Enjoyed your video .
Extremely useful! Just could not figure out how to change how change the lens or put on the straps. Daisy should pay you for this video. Thanks a million!

+SITA I wear mine everyday.
Thanks heading to amazon right now to purchase.

I have a good sized head and have no issues with pressure around the temples. Hopefully, you can find some glasses that fit well!
Excellent guide!! Thanks!!
Very Welcome!
Thanks for sharing..its more understandable.👍👍
Glad it was helpful!
Hey man! Great review! Love it! What you can tell about the lens? Are they good quality, I mean, not resistance, but for eyes in long use?
Thanks a lot!
For the price I have no complaints. I keep them in their case when i'm not using them and haven't gotten any scratches on them, which is always good. Looks really great on you
Thanks, man. I came here to check how to put the strap on because mine didn't come with instructions. Enjoying it now. Thanks to you.
Glad you found the video beneficial.
great review, thanks for sharing
+DTN8 thanks for the comment. So far my favourite glasses. Will be using them a lot this season.
Thanks for reviewing these glasses. Does the foam prevent sweat from coming inside? If not, do you have another suggestion?
It may a little, but mostly it helps with wind getting behind the glasses when you are riding. At least for me!
i ordered one today and its awesome af
Great video ........... Thanks, very helpful !
Glad you enjoyed!

Hey thanks for the review, any update on how they held up long term? did they break after weeks, months?
Ive had them for almost 2 years now and they are still working great. no issues. i have lots of sunglasses but these are one of my favourites. Wear them a lot.
@@gregtoope Thanks allot for the reply! Sounds like a phenomenal value for the price.
@@-Zevin- I think so. I've had the X7, C5 and C6 versions of the Daisy glasses. All have been great, but these are my favourite ones.
3 years later... Do you guys still recommend the X7? Or is there a better option out there?
How about the bobster trident?
These are still one of my favorite sunglasses to wear while riding! Mine are a little banged up now. Should probably buy another pair!
Thanks For The Video I Have Purchased my Self A Pair for The Hog.I Think They look Great,
Hope They Hold Out.Thanks Mate
+John Hunt been wearing them constantly. So far so good!
Were can I get replacement lenses???
doubt that you can. if you damage or scratch them I would just buy another pair.
Thanks for you I I saw the video and I changed my lenses
awesome. glad it helped!
Great help as no instructions. Feel like a pro now..... cheers bruv
Rob Jones glad it helped!
What do you keep looking up at?
How do they fit in a full face helmet?
T B in my helmets they fit fine. But like any helmet it really depends on the helmet and how it fits.
Great review! A question; i dont like when glasses are to wide and pop out on the side of the head. I want them to sit tight around the head. My head is in the small/medium size i guess. Are these glasses wide?
Loved your review and the beard! Just a clarification, Would the C5 lenses fit in with X7?
+Shankar Damodaran thanks for the comment. And the C5 lenses will not fit. The are completely different in size and shape.
Cruisn Canada Ordered the X7 today. Thanks a bunch.
I wonder are these good for skiing?
Emir Bahtijarevic I would think that they would be pretty good.
Thanks for the great review mate. These glasses are awesome now that I know how to remove the lenses :-) As you say the price is right as I'm always loosing or sitting on glasses or they get stolen. Happy you enjoyed the video. Ive been very pleased with these glasses
Did they steam up when you have the head strap on
Thank you for guide cuz i have one daisy x7
Do you know if you can replace a pair of those lenses with prescription spectacles?
That I do not know. Sorry.
@@gregtoope Oh, okay then.
Would they be suitable as a range glasses? If the gun suffers a catastrophic malfunction, would they be able to protect the eye? They are quite expensive here in Brazil and are advertised as actual military googles that will serve for this purpose
Helpful that mate as I was concerned about pushing them the right way, as usual NO instructions with them.
Cheers Bud
Is this also good as safety glasses eye protection for medical or construction?
Good question , same reason why I am here.
whether fog resistant?
Hey bro, great vid but I have one question about the night vision feature. How well does it exactly work ?
if you are referring to the yellow lenses I think they work really well. I switch between those and the non tinted lenses a lot. The yellow ones give you way more definition.
Yes I was referring to the yellow lenses, and thanks for the reply ! Thank you .
haha.. no worries. The X7's are one of my favourite pairs of sunglasses. Really happy with them, especially for the price! Ill probably end up grabbing a second pair if these ones break.
Sangat bagus, for out door
Has anyone changed daisy lenses to prescribed lenses.
nayan ambatkar great question. Hope someone here can answer that!
one question... im planning to use them to prevent dust to come inside my eyes.. do they seal?
can i change the lens for prescription ones?
I really like these, but I am more interested in the clear lenses. Are they truly clear or do they have any kind of tint. The reason I ask, is because I’m looking at safety glasses for my job and I need clear lenses. Any help would be appreciated.👌
I bought a pair of these the other day. They look great and look like good quality. WRONG! I wanted them for riding my motorcycle with my open face helmet. Id contact whomever you bought them from. Ive been wearing mine now for 2 seasons and they are the same as when I bought them. No issues at all.
Thanks, it was on ebay. I sent the company a message yesterday, I'll see what happens.
Good Luck!
Thanks for the great review! Glasses are nice and come with a lot of extras.
Peter Evans: Thanks Peter. Much appreciated!
Jim McGowan
inceleme için teşekkürler C5 mi? yoksa X7 mi? önelirsiniz
I found easier to remove lenses from center, same way but from center side.
Do they hold up when riding? Good wind protection?
+Vee Krzyszton I'm very pleased with them. Currently on a 7000km ride to Newfoundland and have worn them everyday
thanks! Eagerly awaiting my set!
can put power on the lenses?
Buying it right away :)
Could it use for playing Soccer?
Thanks man. Question: mine came with a little "test" picture saying "wear glasses to see the beautiful pattern", but I didn't see anything different. Did yours come with that? and if they did, which lenses are this test supposed to test? the polarized ones?
+Octavio Díaz mine also came with that. And like you not 100% sure of what that's supposed to do.
good video sir, can i use this in airsoft?...
cool thank's..
Are they anti fog?
David de Zeeuw great question. Sadly I don’t know the answer as I never wear them in conditions that fogging could happen. Hopefully someone here can answer that question.
Ait.. Thanks for the great review btw..
Do you know if I would be able to get my prescription put in these lenses?
+T T Vegas that I don't know. You may want to reach out to the manufacturer.
Timmy C Ent -the folks at the optical place inside my local walmart tell me that they can put rx lenses in any sunglasses brought to them. indeed I will be ordering a pair shortly for just that reason
Can you put myopia lens? Can you put myopia lens both lens of those that allready the package has?
They sent me the C-5!!! Dang it.
Those are nice too. I just like the look of the X7 glasses better.
But I can't detach the foam liners from the C-5. That sucks. They will always be "safety goggles". The X7 can actually be "just sunglasses".
Arms on C-5 don't detach, either.
I would definitely return them if you can. I definitely like the X7 glasses better.
If I may ask, why are they so cheap?
+Dale Cuthbertson I’m sure they are made in China which always brings the price down. I’ve used them all riding season and they have been great. And at that price I could just buy another pair if something happens to them. But I’ve definitely gotten my money’s worth from them.
Отличное видео, спасибо!
Хотел купить Daisy X7 "камуфляж", немного сомневался, после этого видео сделал заказ.
Я такие на Али в халяве выиграл. Охуительные!

Ive got the c5 and x7 glasses and have been wearing both for over 2 years. No problems at all so far. I’d reach out to them for a replacement!
Loved them, could live with the misting up, then the arm broke off!!!.... so useless.
well ive now used both the C5 and X7 glasses for over a year and a half with no issues.

I got Daisy USA Military sport glasses in a square case and three color lenses. I cannot install the lenses. They don't fit in the frame. Piece of crap. In the trash they go. Don't buy this crap.
I’ve had 2 pairs with no issues.
Worthless due to stupid daisy logo on the lens itself.
