A three-day trip to the Kodagu district in Karnataka was my most memorable travel experience. I traveled from Thalassery to Virajpet on the first day. The journey through a mountain pass called perambadi is mesmerizing from 100 feet to 1000 feet in height. In South India, Coorg or Kodagu is one of the best places to travel. It is called the Scotland of India. From thalassery to virajpet, this journey mostly follows the perambadi pass. Take a look at the video and share it with your friends.
കാഴ്ചകളുടെ പറുദീസ ഒരുക്കുന്ന കൊടഗ് മലനിരകളിലൂടെയുള്ള യാത്ര അവിസ്മരണീയമാണ്. കര്‍ണ്ണാടക ട്രാന്‍സ്‌പോര്‍ട്ട് ബസില്‍ തലശേരിയില്‍ നിന്നും വിരാജ്‌പേട്ടിലേക്കുള്ള 78 കിലോമീറ്ററിലെ റോഡ് കാഴ്ചകള്‍ കാണാം. തലശേരിയില്‍ നിന്നും യാത്ര തുടങ്ങി കൂത്ത്പറമ്പ്, മട്ടന്നൂര്‍, ഇരിട്ടി, കൂട്ടപുഴ, മാക്കുട്ട വഴി വിരാജ്‌പേട്ടിലേക്കുള്ള യാത്ര മനോഹരമാണ്. ബ്രഹ്മഗിരി വന്യജീവി സങ്കേതത്തിലൂടുള്ള യാത്ര നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് പുതിയൊരു അനുഭവമാകും.

തലശ്ശേരി എപ്പോഴാണ് കൊടക്കിലെക് ബസ് ഉണ്ടാവുക?
തലശ്ശേരിയിൽ നിന്നും രാവിലെ 5. 45 വിരാജ് പേട്ട് ബസ്സ് ഉണ്ട്. അത് കർണാടക ആർടിസിയുടെ ബസ്സാണ്. അതിനുശേഷം ഏഴുമണിക്ക് അടുത്ത ബസ്സ്. ഇതും വിരാജ് പേട്ടിലേക്കാണ്, കർണാടക ആർടിസിയുടെ ബസ്സാണ്. ഈ രണ്ട് വണ്ടിയിൽ ഏതെങ്കിലും ഒന്നിൽ പോയാൽ നമുക്ക് ഈ റൂട്ടിലെ രാവിലെയുള്ള കൃത്യമായ കാഴ്ചകൾ കാണാൻ സാധിക്കും. കൊടഗിലേക്കു അതായത് മടിക്കേരിയിലേക്ക് വിരാജ്പേട്ടിൽ നിന്നും എപ്പോഴും ബസ്സ് ഉണ്ട്. കൊടഗ് എന്ന് പറയുന്നത് മടിക്കേരിയു൦, വിരാജ്പേട്ട് ഉൾപ്പെടുന്ന സ്ഥലങ്ങളെയാണ്.

തലശ്ശേരിയിൽ നിന്ന് വിരാജ് പേട്ട... വിരാജ് പേട്ടിൽ നിന്നും മടിക്കേരി പോകുന്ന റൂട്ടിൽ മുർനാട് എന്ന് പറയുന്ന ഒരു സ്ഥലമുണ്ട്. ചെറിയ ഒരു ജംഗ്ഷനാണ് ഈ മുർനാട്. അവിടെനിന്നും ഇടത്തോട്ടുള്ള വഴിയിലൂടെയാണ് എരുമാട് ദർഗയിലേക്ക് പോകാൻ.. 18 കിലോമീറ്റർ ഉണ്ട് പോകാൻ.
