Yes, Ja Young has a great voice. She really shows it too in a cover they did of Lady Gaga's Always remember us this way. This is a beautiful ballad.

I love this cover. it's so powerful. her voice just really rips into your heart. it gives me chills to see him sitting their soaking in the cover. They begged to cover this song when they were asked by the original band (Sanullim) to be a part of their 50 year tribute. So glad they did this one. I forget where I read that the original writer / band-member 김창훈(Kim, Changhoon), said RQ did the song the way he imagined it when he wrote it, in a way their band was unable to. I get choked up often on this one, but I have been playing it at least 2-3 times a day since it released. so good.

Cover song for the 50th anniversary of Korea's legendary rock group Sanullim.

You probably already know how I feel about this band. While this will never make the numbers that FEARLESS has, I still love RQ performances. You can put this up there with Azalea as a traditional song that has now been given a Rolling Quartz twist. I think it is safe to say this band is now international. Everything they do seems to be another building block added to their popularity. There is something for everyone. Jayoung could sing the phone book and I'd listen.

Thank you Wave for reacting to it. JaYoung is an amazing vocalist and if ytou're wondering, yes, she can do it live as well. I also love the subtle guitar riffs in the song. Very delicate, but meaningful.

If you haven't heard it already, you oughtta check out RQ's collab with 015B from a couple years ago called "Random." Shows off their range and I would argue Jayoung's vocals sound just as powerful as they are here. It and Fearless are their best work to date IMHO.

Iree - is there a happier guitarist? Maybe Empu?

Let's see, I'm sure Steven Tyler and Aerosmith made it to South Korea at some point, right? Just sayin' some paternity tests may be in order!

It's fun to see these talented Japanese bands dipping their toes into the world of americana. This is such a heartland southern rock song. Great stuff.
