Great matches all round, Lehecka played amazing, farewell Rafa on Madrid you played many great years on this surface and no one will forget what you gave tennis, best of luck in the remainder of the farewell tour.
STRUFF's tennis is of very high quality. He will continue to rise in the rankings. But Carlos' mentality is amazing.
Oui après le seul pb c’est son âge! A la trentaine, c’est plus dur de tenir de longs matchs qu’à la vingtaine
I can’t believe he’s 34. He won’t be around for much longer and that in itself is a real shame. He left the best till last. But he lost in the final to a supreme player and the following year gave him a real scare. Hats off to Jan-Lennard Struff and a guy that certainly won’t be forgotten.
@@fang.clarkec7584 Incredible performance to take such an aggressive game plan to Alcaraz in these conditions. no joke. not many can do this
as for now he loses points b/c he was runnerup last year
@@fang.clarkec7584 Also i believe he won his FIRST ATP title in Munich this year. thoroughly deserved. and i wish him all success.
Really wanted to see Ruud v FAA, would have been good to see how FAA got his level back up.
Yeah, Ruud has been playing really well the past three tournaments, and Felix hasn't, so we wanted to see what happened. That's Tennis channel and beIN Sports for you though.
i love watching Struff's every match! he's got the best style of tennis! such a nice n classy man!🥰
Purtroppo ha raccolto poco e ha 33 anni... però veramente un gran giocatore
That medvedev bublik 1st set was funny as hell. bublik was dropshotting everything :D
well bublik is a funny name too :)
They didn’t show in this video, but Rublev was also amazing today. His serve and forehand were on another level!! Only lost 1 point on first serve 🔥
No highlights of Felix Auger and Casper? What's up?
HL with FFA ??
HL with Casper ??
GL with both .... NEVER ! ;)
Ditto. It was a much bigger upset than Cerundolo beating Zverev imo.
They've been ignoring FAA hard this tournament. Haven't shown a single highlight on YT of his journey to the quarter final.
@@AtomikSoupthat’s what I’m saying he’s good lately
Maybe because FAA’s bright yellow clothing hurts audiences’ eyes. Btw, it’s available as a HL on Tennis TV website.
We can say Cerundolo has been the most consistent top 30 player. Reached 22 spot and never left since
Hahahah good one
Xddddd look this season 🤣🤣didnt win a match
Probably not the most consistent but yeah he had some decent consistency for like 2 years
So what... Nole has been the most consistent top 2 player for years now.
@@prosheged what has novak to do in this statement?? Hahaha
Did anyone else notice the crazy topspin on Lehecka's groundstrokes? I think they were lovely.😀
Rafa fed him the spin and he sent it back.
You guys need to do separate highlights for match that are not covered, cause the R16 of these masters are always pact with great matchups.
Lehecka is a class act, didn't celebrate after winning.
But Rafa was celebrating wildly almost every point beating a 1000 ranked 15 years old. Give me a break.
@@russelstephan6342that's Nadal for you seems is ingrained into his brain the need to celebrate and puff his fist
Sinner needs to stop giving the fans scares like that. With these 3-setters, how would his hip hold up?
As well as the victories of Sinner and Alcaraz, Struff has delivered a relentless and resilient performance within this process. At this point, it is great to observe this steady rise on the clay surface. Unforeseen efficiency from German tennis player.
The point with which Sinner wins the match explains why he will be the next nr.1, MASTERPIECE!
FAA beating Ruud on clay should give him a lot of confidence
That bublik laugh approaching the net ❤
Well done Jannik! 👏😍
Auto correct it’s jiri
@@Lilasianboyrapsjannik also won today
Il passera Félix c’est sur! Hâte de voir la demi entre Sinner et Medvedev
Alcaraz and sinner had tough matches. Nadal tried his best, what a champion. ✌️
Lehecka made some special shots but no appreciation from Claydull or crowd.. Thats where you love the match😂😂😂
Even if you lose, you will still be a great champion❤
Empecé a jugar al tenis viendo los partidos de Rafa él es leyenda verdadera y el héroe de mi infancia
the absolute disrespect on not showing us Taylor Fritz's matches ever
Wasted time... NO NO i joke i m 100% agree, he's a human too.
nobody cares fritzzz
People only wants to see his girlfriend lmao
Watch Fritz go over to pickleball 😂
I guess you are right @@raxrax223
Where is the FAA/Ruud match? What a shame!!!
Cerundulo's monster forehand😯
Lehecka is absolutely relentless love watching him play. Nadal unfortunately ran into a buzzsaw with him.
Sadly, Nadal's movement to his left is obviously restricted.
Yeah I noticed.
Old man tennis
He should stop playing Pro. He's done. He can however coach younger peek pros after retiring. We all know he will bid farewell on RG.
agreed he seemed clumsy and slow
@@dannybull6887 Slow because of what? Hip problems? Knee problems? Overweight?
Carlos Crampitos marches on
Im a serb and die hard nole fan but man sad to say rafa going out , he did a great job played well #legend
I hate to say this, but Rafa is done. Watching him play these days is painful. I don't want to see Nole (or any other legend) so physically diminished. It's not fun.
Novak is done too he'll retire after winning 25th slam if he can
@@Jacob56-xl4xo after yea, so is he done to now ?
Federer should coach Zeverev. Such a shame for a clean hitter to want to make the court bigger rather than smaller.
He was too far from the baseline.
Strufi 🐐🐐
It's a good day to hav Lehecka on your fantasy team, but a sad day for Madrid
Murray & Nadal have both joined the hair club for men
Sinner is the hammer of the thunder god, Thor.
Step aside Berrettini, the new hammer's in town. 🤣
Absolutely smashing that ball with insane power. He's the real deal.
Yes, it's appropriate to put Sinner in the context of nordic mythology as he's German, not Italian.
@@AA-le9ls Wow, who cares about such things? You must be a really small cat.
@@AA-le9lsInvent another one. Sinner 🇮🇹
Come back from 5-3 40-0 amaizing
Rafa and Tsitsipas are by far the best clay players right now.
Both incredible to watch, the old gen and next gen.
Really exciting stuff😊
#jeanlenardstruff 🎩🎾👏🏼
What a marvellous way of plsying 🎾. He reminds me that brilliant game of #johnmcenroe #stefanedberg and some else.
Uauuu
Thank you, nadal ❤
All the games except for Auger Alliassime vs Ruud…? Wow
No Hurkacz either.
Guys I just subscribed to TennisTV for 1 month to test (it hasn't been available long here in Australia) and you can see all the matches, replays, highlights, and it streams so much better than beIN Sports which is a joke. So no more complaining for free TH-cam ok. You don't pay you get sub-par watching.
No rublev no rudd this is a joke
Absolutely
Or FAA
Tennis TV doesn't like rude or ruble players.

Congrats for this incedible run at Madrid, Rafa!❤🎉🎾🇪🇦
At 37 defeated De Minaur and Chachin!👏
Still ain't finished!
Vamos Roland Garros 2024!!!💪🇪🇦
Also nice performance from Struff, went to decider against Alcaraz!👏
Hmm I feel like of all these guys Cerrundulo looks the most fire
No rublev highlights?
Exactly, most of the ones in this video they had already posted anyway…
Yes
I’m disappointed
see the HL of last year ... it is the same ;)
His seeding/not being Nadal means he doesn't play on the big courts as much. Should be visible from the next round for sure.
This tourney has only shown highlights from the big courts. Some others have more coverage.
The court surface here must be different from that of RG, Monte Carlo etc. The tempo of play of all the matches clearly looks different.
Yes, you are right. Its known fact that Madrid plays way faster than other clay courts. MC is slowest and RG close second slowest, while Madrid is fastest clay tournament there is. Part of it lays in alttitude over 600meters
Madrid plays more like a slow hard court I feel
@@user-iy8tp7vw3x Nadal has been most successful in Monte Carlo and in Roland Garros. The slower the surface is, the better it is for him, it seems.
@@AA-le9ls Nadal is older, take him longer to recover, he is also slower but he still can be competitive against the young guns but and I just don't expect him to be in the last weekend of a grand slam. I think he will leave the game after this year's FO.
@@jliang70 Aren't the Paris olympics his goal and the reason for his comeback?
Oh but where is the Ruud- AA match highlights? Must have been something special for Felix to take the win of of an in-form Ruud
OMG Bublic is literally saying one f word after another!
In Russian? Can you translate?
Rafa gave us fans glimpses of what's made him the King of Clay, never ever to be surpassed on this surface! 🙂
It was seriously impressive from Cerundolo to dispatch Zverev in straight sets.. lights out stuff!!
Would have loved to see Carlos v Rafa. Master of Spain against the Spanish prodigy
That already happened 2x in Madrid - you can find it on youtube.
@@orchidpanda2253 ill have to check it out. Thanks for the info 👍
Alcaraz not even close to Nadal. He literally struggles to win every match. Nadal in his glory days walked over everyone on clay, even Federer and Djokovic.
@@testingforyoutube i didnt say he was, im saying at that age Alcaraz is just as Nadal was. He is going to be just as great
@@shaunsowter Dude Nadal at that age already had won much more than him. For the moment compare him to Nadal is a joke.
Damn Struff really wouldve deserved a win here
Well Carlos had two mini breaks in the tie break in the second and 4 match points in the third. I think should have finished it in 2, but he did what Carlos does, played cat and mouse on points where he had an open court and refused to play efficient. Carlos always becomes too playful when he has a two point lead. He can't resist doing the risky shot instead of the safe shot into the open court that would just end the match.
This will be on tennis tv bro
Where are the highlights from Aliassim V Ruud?
Would love to know if somebody can explain to me: up until the 3rd Round, top half players and bottom half players were playing in different days allowing one day rest for everyone; 4th Round all matches were on the same day only to split again for the QF. Why couldn't they keep the split until the union (on QF or SF) and then keep united until the Final?
QF
Sinner - FAA
Medvedev - Lehecka
Fritz - Cerundolo
Rublev - Alcaraz
SF
Sinner/FAA - Lehecka
Cerundolo - Alcaraz
Final
Sinner - Alcaraz

Por que no sale el partido de Fritz????
Why no sale the match of the Fritz ???
why no sale? because no le gusta a nobody.

WAIT!!! Didn't FAA beat Casper Ruud? Why hasn't FAA had any coverage. Did the NADAL camp suppress FAA's coverage? If anyone else beat the World No. 6. it would make the highlights. Yes or no?
Till the end Nadal!thank you 🥊
Lehecka did very well to play in those conditions. Very hostile as to be expected from the Spanish
Vamos rafa te apollamos se que vas a volver mas fuerte 🇪🇸💪🏼🇪🇸
Lo apollas? Parece feo.
Well done sinner
Nadal- clay is my best surface no?
Lehecka- hold my beer!
Why can't we find Humbert's highlights ? Fritz 's highlights ?
Monteiro perdeu contra esse cara? Ele joga bem!
Far and ruud???
I don't know how much longer Rafq will olay, but it would be like 2017 Roger if Rafa can win one more FO. Dubious but we'll see 😮
The 00's Are Rising.. jiri 👍👏..
I hope it's not a one time thing with Lehecka 🤷🏻♂️
What was Zverev doing back in Meddy territory? Usually he’s more aggressive
He didn't even run for any dropshot... :/
Zverev is extremely wealthy and feels that he shouldn't have to run to catch any small objects like tennis balls. Servants should bring such things to him instead.
@@AA-le9ls lol
😂😂😂😂@@AA-le9ls
Zverev complained about not being able to see the balls with the LED strange-blue backwall -- might be relate dto his positioning. Maybe it was due to ambient light, but that LED wall did look awfully bright during 1H of their match...
They didn’t show how lehecka’s average first serve speed was 141mph
Fortunately, in this sport there is still a player like Lehecka. He just does his job without any emotion and not gives a point regardless of whoever is in front of him. You should never see a 25 year old guy beaten by a forty but that's enought in tennis. Really unfortunate for this "next gen"...

Not FAA beating ruud 💀
long forgotten rafa.
Lehecka doesn't even celebrate his victory just to give respect to Nadal
Sinner’s game is always looks different from the rest. His ball bounce is always low
Where Rublev
Feel a little sorry för Karen that he bumps into Sinner. He has been playing good on clay.

I'm afraid current Nadal would have had zero chance with Sinner even here on clay
Vaya todos a Roma, va a estar el ultimo, GLADIADOR.... RAFA NADAL... 🙏👍😀♥️
Good matches, lechecka came in pretty strong. See you when I see you Rafa
Aliassime is in option? no highlights...

Lehecka played the best tennis of his tiny little ordinary Berdych style future career, and I won't be surprised if he get eaten alive by Medvedev in the next round,April 31 2024,Madrid say goodbye to a legend, the one and only king of clay,a chapter was close, but it's not over yet.
Sounds like sour grapes and disrespectful to Lehecka, who is 1.85m tall, same as Rafa and has a very good tennis game.
@@davidegral7152 ,For christ sake that dude won't play like that for the rest of his career, his the "only go so far" kind of player, just like his best buddy Berdych,Alcaraz and Sinner are miles ahead of everybody else, there's no room for disrespect when there are facts.
This is far from Lehecka's best tennis. He withdrew from his QF match in Dubai through injury, missed Monte Carlo and this is his first tournament on clay this year. He is still coming back. Early 2023 was probably the best we've seen of him so far, getting multiple top 10 wins and going deep in some tournaments. He's still only 22 so likely has his best tennis ahead of him. His first tournament of the season on his weakest surface after a short layoff is hardly going to be his peak.
@@brandonm8901Well said. He's a great prospect. Even Rafa , before the match said Leheckas weight of shot was next level up from De Minaur, the world number 11.
@@brandonm8901 ,Don't make me goddamn laugh, this dude is a ocean behind Sinner and Alcaraz level of tennis being 22 already,Berdych used to "go deep in some tournaments" that's exactly how far he can reach or maybe a little better,in this match against Nadal he served like never before and had a perfect net game without missing anything, not even the big 3 was that perfect at the net ever,he played the tennis of his entire career that's why he won,you are barking at the wrong tree of expectations.
Sinner gets this title.
How can Sinner get the title if he has a hip problem? Look at what hip problems have done to the games of Murray and Nadal.
@AA-le9ls Yes, more than 20 slams combined and 150 titles in total, mr. Problem.
NADAL should STOP THIS!!! He throws off the DRAW!!!
He’s only got wheels for a couple rounds. Stop entering tournaments, knowing that you can’t go all the way. NADAL is tainting his legacy.
If Nadal can't run, for me it's not Nadal. 🥺
Fritz?!?!?!?!
😠
Lehecka 7-5 6-4 Nadal
Alcaraz 6-3 6-7 7-6 Struff
Medvedev 7-6 6-4 Bublik
Cerundolo 6-3 6-4 Zverev
Sinner 5-7 6-3 6-3 Khachanov
que pasó con Nadal, se lesionó otra vez?
While I would love to see Nadal win, I'm okay with him losing. He needs to reserve his energy for the French Open. If he needs some tune up, then play a few matches at Rome. I want to see Nadal win the French Open one last time.
So sad seeing Nada out of the game. :(
Уважение Надалю!
Sad for Nadal 😢
Nadal needs more match time…hope he will b bck at Roland garros
Nada is tired .. it is closer for him to retire 😢
why does everyone that beats Nadal act like they're attending a funeral?
Because Nadal's toxic-4$ $ fanbase destroy the rivals who defeated him if they don't kneel over to the "great Rafa", kiss his feet or/and praise him untiringly...
