This was very helpful. So much practical wisdom (and in 1:50 !). I've seen so many different documentary scripts, that I was confused about how to make a documentary script. It's cool to hear that it just takes a lot of maneuvering and determination.
Currently at the early pre-production stage of making my independent documentary and this was VERY helpful and I'm glad I watched it now rather than later

Good info about making a documentary. To me it's about the journey. Learning about your subject. Learning how to tell the story. To improve your craft but not at the expense of story. I love it!
You're right, Robert. The video would definitely be better with both channels! Unfortunately, TH-cam doesn't allow the audio to be edited, so a new video would need to be uploaded which means all the current views, ranking and comments would be lost. (Unless someone knows of a trick we're not aware of.. if so let us know!)
This was taken from her actual site. So why is there no actual showing of a documentary script, showing how it is written, the format and inclusions, the shooting script? As Video is pictures and they speak a thousand words, why is there no example, be interesting to hear the reason?
Listen to what she's saying. There IS NO SCRIPT until you have your content (interviews and footage) UNLESS you're doing a corporate script or propaganda. Which she is not. If you're doing corporate, you're already a pro. If you're doing propaganda, you're in the wrong place.
