Oh my goodness. Thank you so much. I have my semester one Geometry final today. THANKS. I actually understand this now. Come teach at my school. I like the ratio you have set up for each problem; it helps! :D
Thank you so much. Tomorrow is my math final and I didn't understand how to do this until i watched this video. Before I clicked on it, i had a mental breakdown and I'm relieved!!!
And if i am right following what is written in cliffnotes. I will refer to ur 2nd example, where the height is given. The height which is opposite the 60 def angle = 9. That means by default that the hypotenuse is 18? And the side opposte to 30deg is 1/2(18) its gonna be 9 as well. So to get the area 1/2(9)(9) =1/2(81)= 81/2 or 40.5 or 40 and 1/2?
You probably know after 4 years XD But here's what to do; since the hypotenuse is the side opposite to the right angle, divide it by radical 2 to find X and substitute.
Hi, im a bit confused now. Im reading cliffnotes' book and it is stated there that the side opposite to the 60deg angle is always half of the hypotenuse times the square of three.. So how come ure hypotenuse in ur 2nd example is just 6square root of 3? Which i guess is wrong according to cliffnotes. I dnt say ure wrong i just want to be enlightened. Ü In addition, isnt it that the ratio should be for 30degangle is 1/2x 60: 1/2(x)radical 3? Ill give an example, If its 30-60-90 And the hypotenuse is 24 And its opposite angle is 90deg, 60 is half of it so its = 12 times radical 3. And the side opposite to 30deg wll be 1/2(x) = 1/2(24) = 12. I dont get the same answers by doing the ratio u taught. I just need an explanation so i can clear my thoughts about this topic and rationalize correctly. Thank you.
Wow, 10 years ago. And here I am watching this video to get ready for this year's 2020 SAT
Oh my goodness. Thank you so much. I have my semester one Geometry final today. THANKS. I actually understand this now. Come teach at my school. I like the ratio you have set up for each problem; it helps! :D
you are my god. you only left one example I needed out but I understand it well enough to get it, thanks.
Thank you so much. Tomorrow is my math final and I didn't understand how to do this until i watched this video. Before I clicked on it, i had a mental breakdown and I'm relieved!!!
Thank you Teacher it help my test next week . Clear and easy to understand . Thank you again. God bless you
I was so confused before, but now I know! Thanks so much
I honestly love you for this. I did not know this at all. I really appreciate all these videos.
thank you! i have a final 2moro and i was flipping out. this relay helped me and calmed me down. i am LEARNING :) thanks.
I was literally 7 when this video came out, I wouldnt have understood any of that back then
U r much better than khanacademy, I tried learning the same thing on his video and it didn't help at all, u really helped me, thx man :)
Thank You, this video was more helpful than my instructors explanation.
what pen are you using?
I SERIOUSLY cannot take the fact that I'm understanding it thank you!
Thank you so much ....ur teaching method is just extraordinary ....❤️
thank you, you explain much better than my teacher
I just want to say that I'm an international student who will take the SAT soon and the 30:60:90 is not in our program... Thanks so much man
Thank you so much I have a final for geometry and never understood 30 60 90 triangles
Love the trick with the sides opposite the angles, will really help me on the test. :D
You are an A+ math teacher. Very patient and good methodology.Vegetariana 26 :)
@salam1249 the long leg(across the 60 degree angle) can be found by doing xradical3
I did not get how to do this in class, thank you so much!!!
Great explanation, helped me a lot with my homework :) Thank You
You've helped me sooo much thank you, keep it up man thnx.
thanks man really needed that
Even helps on the ACT. THANKS!!!! :D
Its vey helpful thanks alot keep up the good work helps when iam studying for math 1
Powerful Brian Redman
@Brian Redman
If I am a Freshmen in high school, and I know this, am I advanced or...?
Thank you finally a good explanation!!
the 30-60-90 triangle is on the sat? I'm learning this in 7th grade!

thank you so much ❤❤
how do you do one where the hypotenuse is given to you????
Thanks it really helps me
youre a genius!!!
Can we use SOH CAH TOA or Pythagorean theorem to solve this
thanks so mcuh! you really helped!
SO HELPFUL
oh my god THANK YOU!!
VERY HELPFUL. THANKS
Thanks
thank you so much.
It’s so useful tnx
what would i do if the longest side is 8 square root of 3. I am so confused..
+Asad Fahim then the smallest side is 4 sq root of 3 and the mid length side is 4sq root of 3 * sq root of 3
radical 3 is part of the formula
do you take the SAT at a computer that is already there?
Our answers are not excepted in radical form I just need to know the formula to turn a radical into a number BTW my class does not allow calculators
Thanks !
What if you only have the hypotenuse?
You probably know after 4 years XD But here's what to do; since the hypotenuse is the side opposite to the right angle, divide it by radical 2 to find X and substitute.
Thank You
thanks brotha
omg so easy like that...thanks
thank you
may allah bless you .. thx alot man .
So 30 is equal to x you dont have to solve for it??
Thank you do much
great!
My geometry final is tomorrow and I turn to youtube for help...
wtf this was much simpler than khanacademy
What if instead of 9 it's 10
I don't even remember doing this sh!t in class

Ill give an example,
If its 30-60-90
And the hypotenuse is 24
And its opposite angle is 90deg,
60 is half of it so its = 12 times radical 3. And the side opposite to 30deg wll be 1/2(x) = 1/2(24) = 12.
I dont get the same answers by doing the ratio u taught.
I just need an explanation so i can clear my thoughts about this topic and rationalize correctly. Thank you.
Thanks, jesus loves you
Just use law of sines...
easy
Thank you so much
thank you
thanks
