You shoul of just unbolt off the leg and wouldn't need to pop bottom ball joint out

Hi, will this stop the clicking sound when turning the wheel or just to keep the grease inside & dirt out?
Mine is clicking on that side when I turn ✌

Rubber holds the grease in and dirt out. If the rubber is broken the dirt will destroy the joint quite quickly.

@@shamedddy9830 The CV joint is fixed to the axle, and cannot be removed unfortunately. So you have to remove the axle from the car, or use a spreader to install the gaiter over the CV joint.

Yep! :) But I cleaned all the oil from the floor. I forgot to empty gear box oil beforehand...
