1: don’t be rude, not cute
2: you NEED to leave the restaurant within 15 minutes of closing.
3: finishing your food and then complaining will not get you anything free
4: tell an employee if the food doesn’t taste right. More then likely your problem will be fixed for free

I work at subway one of our guys was making these sandwiches he wanted them toasted WHATEVER right. We toast them. He pays and leaves. 20 mins later we get a call saying none of it was toasted. Our kinda manager asked for pictures and gave that man her number and he sent pictures. The cheese was melted on and the outside of the bread was brown. So uh. It was toasted. We should him actually video proof of us toasting the sandwiches. And he still complained to the owner. We later found out it was because they were hot. Like yeah dude after a 20 minute drive your warm sandwich is not gonna be hot🤦♀️ luckily the owner is super chill and just laughed with us about the situation
The only one I disagree with is leaving 15 minutes before closing. I paid my money. I'm sitting here eating my food. I'll leave before you close, but I'm certainly not going to rush out to make sure I'm out 15 minutes before closing. You close at a certain time and I'm abiding by that. Sorry not sorry.

@@SGRmoss "within 15 minutes" means the whole half hour around closing time. 15 before and 15 after. We don't care if you're sitting there finishing your food for a few minutes, honestly, it's easy to work around a table or two when you've just started cleaning the dining area. Just don't be the person who's trying to make their meal into a whole event lol.

Sorry, I don’t find her comment funny :/ it’s pretty ignorant, of course some people get diabetes because of their diet, but type 2 diabetes is also very genetic(you have a 40% risk if one of your parents have it and 80% if both!) I’m a type 1 diabetic myself and sadly have to listen to these kinds of jokes a lot despite the fact that I’m sick due to my immune system attacking my pancreas and won’t ever be cured, no matter what I eat or how much I exercise :/ please educate yourself people ❤️

It's only a freezer when it reaches a certain temperature. They have to be kept in a refrigerator to keep them edible, but that doesn't make it a freezer.

I'm a Carls Jr employee and I will expose some of our stuff and give you some tips, haha.
1) Medium fries are the same as the large.
2) We can lettuce wrap everything.
3) Some stores can substitute on the boxes, some can't.
4) The California Classic is In and Outs "Double Double".
5) Don't buy milk, it's more expensive here than a whole gallon at the store.
6) Want a plain cheeseburger? Just order a Big Burger+ Cheese, not a Famous Star.
7) If your chickens stars are white in the middle and not brown, they aren't cooked 100%.
8) If your chicken tenders aren't brown and are a light color, they weren't dipped in the egg batter and are improper.
9) We killed the sliders, All Natural, Memphis, Fish, and Pork.
10) They don't want the garden salad, Big Chicken, and BBQ Chicken ordered. Thats why they don't have pictures.
11) We wont refund the El Diablo if you think it's too hot. My store tells you it's hot. If you don't listen, your fault.
12) Criss cuts and Onion Rings only come in Medium. They dont fit in the other boxes.
13) Zucchini only comes in small.
14) The Guacamole Bacon is expensive because it features an Avocado product. Don't like the price? We don't care.
15) The Biscuits, Cookies, and Tenders are made 100% in store.
Everything else is only prepared in store.

The "Employees Must Wash Hands" sign is a health code requirement and none of them knew that...it's also a health code I almost all states to wear gloves whenever you're handling ready to eat foods.

When I worked at a cafeteria the ice cream machine had to be broken down and cleaned every...single...day. It took a good 45-1 hour JUST TO FINISH THE JOB. Not including cleaning the tables, doing the dishes, cleaning the kitchen, doing the floors, cleaning the bathrooms, etc.

On one hand, I agree with what you are saying. On the other hand, I worked in fast food and you have no idea what we mean when we say customers are rude. I've had people threaten my life before and throw things at me and try to get me fired. I believe in treating the customer right but some people are psychopaths and deserve pubic hair in their food. I've apologized to people before because I did something like put too much ice cubes in their food, only for them to tell me I'm an idiot and a worthless human being and that I should be fired, even though I'm apologizing to them and giving them a new drink.

I went to a Panda Express during the start of lunch hour and everything went well. It wasn't very busy and they got my order correct. I feel places like Mcdonalds and Chick-Fil-A have the most struggles during lunch hour since they become pretty busy in the drive through.

I remember when I was in San Diego on vacation I went to this grocery story that was kinda like a whole foods. I wish I could remember the name of it. Their customer service was on point. I ordered a burger and fries and was just waiting for it to finish. I don't mind waiting so the cashier didn't have to say anything to me but she let me know that they had accidentally made it a cheeseburger so they were making it again. They gave me a discount and like three coupons. They were so apologetic I was like ok guys you can chill out a little. It's not the end of the world. The funny thing is, at the time I had thrown my back out and was in a little bit of pain from standing and walking around so I don't know if my pain face made me look angry. Even if I looked annoyed I was still nice to them and talked up the place to everyone who worked there. I bet I wouldn't have gotten nearly as much if I had bitched at them.
As a sonic worker I can assure you that if you ask for easy or extra ice in your drink,, you’re gonna get the random ass amount that every drink gets😂 we scoop ice from a big ice thing with the cup.

They really don't do that, generally, because we are all in the same area together and if you are holding someone's food and reaching into your pants to get a pube, the manager is going to notice and yell at you. It's really not that easy to covertly mess with people's food when we are all crowded together like that. I wanted to several times as a fast food worker, but never was able to.

i work at McDonald's and we have a policy of washing our hands every 30 minutes and even more so if needed and our supervisores make sure to scream our names to go do it even at rush hours (if the system checks that all of us washed our hands constantly - which they do because everytime you wash your hands there is a device that analysis our fingerprints - we'll get prizes)

I always washed my hands when I worked fast food, but honestly, some people just don't wash their hands. At one of the places I used to work, people would go outside to smoke and come right back inside and start cooking again without washing their hands. I quit and that place got shut down. At another place I worked, a girl was building a burger, and she wiped her hands on her pants after she put onions on because her hands were wet. I was like you can use these sanitizer wipes that are hanging on the damn wall
Most of the time people just change the gloves and not wash their hand. You have like 5 sec between taking trash out and flipping burger again during rush hour. Unless you wanna get cuss out for being slow, better to just change gloves and skip hand washing.

That’s what I do! By the time you order, sit in life for 30 minutes, and get your drink the ice is already melting and the drink sucks. The drinks get done as soon as you order most times.

So if anyone’s curious as to WHY the ice cream machine at mcdonald’s is always broken it’s because all mcdonald’s restaurants received new machines within the past 10 years and they’re still under warranty so instead of “in-house” mcdonald’s mechanics fixing it they have to wait for the manufacturer to come fix it so it’s free or the machines are made in italy and can only be serviced by a small number of individuals with knowledge of those specific units
