@@frenchtoastenjoyer Highly disagree. Every other following will openly admit and call out their mistakes. Apple's cult following believes it's flawless and perfect and nothing else can measure up. They barely even know what features other non Apple devices have or what their specs are like, but will still swear Apple is better😂
Have you been in an Apple meeting where they care so much about customers they literally get in passionate fights over how to give them better products and services? Obviously not.
Samsung Galaxy A55 5G🤔🤔Samsung makes phones for all people There are high-end, middle-end, and low-end phones As for Apple, it sells middle-end phones at the prices of high-end phones The iPhone 16 with a 60Hz screen and no high screen frequency, you only put it in the iPhone Pro and call it "Pro"!! It's a feature found in Android phones that cost $400?! A phone that costs $900 gives you less than an Android phone that costs $400!! You're kidding
When you make a video to blindly blame Apple for people being dumb, I guess you tend to overlook blatantly obvious stuff that shows your point to be a bunch of hogwash.
The real issue Apple facing is that people aren't as gullible as they were before. Previously, Steve used fancy words, and people were mesmerized. Even now, Apple uses the same tactics, but people have become more intelligent, and it's turned into a joke. That's why every Apple event is a joke to everyone except the fanboys, who are still living in the Steve Jobs era.
nah it’s just android trolls in their own loud world thinking this rhetoric b.s.,apple has their customers and they don’t need to brag because they know…..the best only competes with their own selves in their own lane 😊
no, apple is actually getting more popular. The thing is the new phones they are releasing are so similar to the older ones that people are no longer buying new iphones, since their current one works fine. Most phone brands have reached a point where their "old" phones are so good there is no point in getting new ones at all. If you bought an iphone 12 in 2020 you can keep it for at least another 3 years. Why buy an iphone 16 as an average user?

I hate that Apple puts 60Hz in their standard models, I hate the Blue-Green buble nonsense, I hate lot of stuff about Apple. Look I had Android for 8 years, it was great experience and I was happy. I wanted to try iPhone, because I heard that they finally got USB-C with the 15, and I had to buy the Pro Max, because I hate 60Hz (even my phone that costed about 300 dollars back in 2020 had 120Hz...) and I also do not like small phones, so the Pro Max was sadly the only option. I enjoy the experience, cuz it all just works greatly, however I miss downloading stuff from internet, like free spotify and so on...
I guess u didn't use 90% of your android and u still hit a huge wall with the side loading 💀 bro iPhones are so trash I don't know what ur talking about I guess it's just post purchase rationalization
I used to be a hardcore Apple fan in the past but now I gave up on them, basically its illogical to defend and support a company that keeps on pulling up anti-repair and anti-consumer tactics. After stepping into the repair industry I was clear about the fact that they deliberately make it harder to repair their products.
The weird thing is that if Apple was purely a product design and manufacturing company and not a dystopian marketing nightmare company, i would like their stuff more. I have this stigma against Apple purely because of what they represent. I think a lot of 'android fanboys' have a similar outlook, where the reason i 'hate' the company is mainly NOT overpriced gadgets that underdeliver in terms of specs, its purely because they represent elitism, consumerism, luxurious excess, and bullshit marketing.
I was like that back in the day, but I don’t think normal people care anymore. Only terminally online nerds care about Apple these days. Being an Apple fanboy is passé, although I’ve heard American zoomers specifically love iPhones and the “blue bubble” meme (rest of the world uses WhatsApp). However, being anti-Apple has become its own form of consumer-based identity. “I’ll have you know I use a Galaxy S and an XPS because I’m too smart for crapple.” Very reddit behaviour. If people are going to larp about being concerned about what Apple represents, at least be using Linux and a de-googled mid-priced phone, if using a smartphone at all. Point being, defining yourself as being “in opposition to Apple” is basically the tech equivalent of being a cringe atheist.
Same here. I'm looking for wireless headphones at the moment and I would be seriously thinking about the AirPods, but I dread the moment something does not work with them and the only support I get is "Well of course it does not work you don't have an iPhone" F this. I'm no more Adroid fanboy than I'm "Windows fanboy" or "Linux fanboy" I just like technology that is interoperable.
@@Posiman Exactly, I don't love Linux as much as i just hate closed ecosystems. Additionally again, i despise the cultural burden behind Apple, how it's a closed club and not a tech company. It's more of a successful marketing firm than an actual tech giant. It's very telling how they moved from live demonstrations of their products to pre-recorded ones, it feels like they're not as confident in their products and marketing as they were before, and honestly their anti-repair stance sucks, especially when they say they want to be carbon neutral by 2030 but still have anti-repair policies in place and make devices with older iOS versions intentionally slower and not allowing you to run some apps unless you have the latest version of iOS even though the app would run perfectly fine on it and it was previously supported, essentially making people throw away their devices and buy new ones, creating more packaging and waste and using up more carbon just to earn them more money.
Emotional manipulation should be against the law. Change my mind Forced image protection and product-placement should be banned too. Jobs was no genius. He achieved everything he did on the strength of his personality. His entire career was a succession of last shots. The problem with Jobs was that his techies were always smarter than he was and that's something he resented!
The problem with Apple's ecosystem is that you cannot use it only partially. You are either in 100% or out 100%. Try using your iPhone in combination with a Linux laptop. Try using a Mac with an Android phone. And sure! This means more reasons to buy more Apple stuff right? What if you _need_ to use non-Apple stuff for whatever reason (money, work requirements...). Then you are stuck in this limbo, where nothing works and you have to always find workarounds - not because it is technologically impossible, but because somebody in Cupertino decided so. I had been an Apple user for about ten years. When things worked, it was like a charm, but when things did not work, there was often no way to fix them. Because nobody in Apple expected this or that thing to not work, they also did not provide users a simple way to fix them. At the same time, I had experiences from Linux, where the solution was usually one Google search and one Copy-Paste Terminal command away. Then came the foldables. I tried Galaxy ZFlip 4 and never came back. Saw the iPhone 16 unveiling last week. What a cringe..
You don't need to have all Apple products. Most people I know just got iPhone and AirPods and they use Windows PC. The big difference is when you buy Apple you'll have more features and better syncing between device but if you get something else you'll get pretty much the same experience as you get on android in general.
There is something that is always missing when talking about Apple. It is the iOS system.. which I consider the only limitation that Apple exploits to its advantage. Not the eco system. Not emotional marketing. Not Steve Jobs' history. I used Samsung phones for years, then moved to the iPhone, and was impressed by the iOS system. Years ago, I returned to Android via the Motorola Fold. I said to myself, perhaps the Android system has improved a little.. but I found it as I left it: bad, boring, and without a clear identity. Apple's first bet is on its system. Its systems are very great. So great that Apple was making updates aimed at lowering the level of the system and weakening it after three years. While other companies use Android from Google, and try to bet on early leaps towards new technology. Some succeed, some fail. Where did the Android devices that used to hide the camera somewhere disappear, so if you wanted to take a picture, it would appear from the device's body quickly and then disappear? Just so that the screen would be without a notch or a camera circle? And where did the camera that sits behind the screen disappear? When you talk about Apple, you are not talking about the companies that manufacture devices, but rather about its actual competitor, which is Google, which has abandoned innovation for years, and its system is still behind Apple's system. The phone has become like another sense of ours, we do not want any confusion or technical hype every year. We want to get used to a certain style and continue quickly and strongly in basic matters. Instead of Android devices that jump towards new technologies early, and raise their prices in exchange for this innovation, and when you buy the device for $ 2,000, then you are shocked that it made concessions in basic matters such as the camera and the speed of the device, as happened in the first generations of foldable phones. And it was forgiven as if nothing happened just because it is not Apple and there is no attractive trend to attack it.
I bought a used 10$ Lg smartphones years ago... it still works. Why should i get a new one? Messaging, browsing is the same and in music its a downgrade (only bluetooth headphones) IAnd lets not forget it saved me 900+ $ xD
I don't agree with that video. Yeah sure the green and blue bubble thing is stupid and some other things are. But people don't usually buy Apple because it's Apple. Then Apple ecosystem experience is pretty much the best out there and this is why I like it so much. So easy to transfer files between devices and sync everything. I don't care if the tech specs even differ. I'd rather have some weaker phone with better experience than more powerful phone with bad experience because of the software. And the specs of the iPhone and Android phones are pretty similar. I can run heavy mobile games on my iPhone just fine. I don't care if one uses Android or something else really. But I don't go around calling them a cult and brain damaged for what they use. A lot of people are seeing value in Apple products and the experience is good for them. They don't buy it because they're some cult followers or brain damaged. They buy it for the features it has and the experience.
Thinking whichever side you're on is the good guys, while the other side is committing malpractice, neglect, and shady behavior is EXACTLY what they want. Whether you apply this logic to companies, corporations, social media, media, politics, etc. Thinking one side is exploitative while your side is "good" is a lapse in judgement.

Well said! I bought iPhone 12 Mini because of the small form factor. Been using this for last 3 years. Initial few days I thought the phone was fine, but I started missing the customization of Android. One can install custom ROMs on most of Android devices. One can install many open source apps from app stores such as F-Droid. Even a mid range Android phone has 120 Hz Screen, but few of the iPhone models still come with 60 Hz screen.
to be honest 120hz on mid range android phone is almost the same as 60hz on the ios, i had an xiaomi that supported 90hz and even my new 60hz iphone feels smoother
True, apple products work great and last a pretty long time. If you find them too expensive then just buy last years version and its still going to be great
Apple's marketing and design is genius, they made tech so much cooler. It's people's own fault if they let some tech product or green bubble rule their lives. I've been using my iPhone for 5 years and I am still very happy with the product and the company. I also don't dislike people that use Android.
Apple is overpriced and locks you into their garbage overpriced ecosystem, Samsung has horrible UI and artificially and annoyingly pushes their garbage apps, so I just settled for used Pixel phones.
As a dev and heavy user, Windows laptops are essentially disposable, with a lifespan measured in 12-18 months. But I'm fairly confident that my MBP will last 10 years (perhaps requiring a battery replacement, at worst). There is just so much heat running through those damn things, they die quickly. Also, I don't even know what the macOS bluescreen looks like, because I've never seen it (unlike Windows, with its incredibly flaky driver ecosystem and constant Windows Update)
Exactly. While half the people here OP included assume that the only reason people buy Apple gear is because they are brain dead victims of Apple's marketing and/or because they want to flex or sth.
I am a heavy user (science and technology) of an Acer notebook at home. I have been using it for 6 years (I am writing this message on it right now) and have replaced the battery myself once. In that time, I have seen a blue screen once or maybe twice. But of course I did not buy the cheapest laptop six years ago, I bought a higher end model that was cheaper than most MacBooks at the time. At work at the university, I have been using a high-end HP laptop for about 5 years and it's never had a blue screen or needed replacing. And I'm still using the Galaxy S10, whose battery had to be replaced once.

Here is the simple truth: Humans are status seeking organisms. That will never change. It's how we form relationships and thrive as a species. And Apple managed to insert itself at the top of the status hierarchy and it has been unchallenged. Nobody dared to make an even more exclusive, better product. Every other manufacturer makes a product for the masses, which by definition makes them low status. You can bemoan that all you want. Porsche does the same thing. Ferrari, Lamborghini, Prada, etc. That's how all these brands work. None of them make products that in and of itself justify the price tag. You are not buying a phone or a car or a handbag. You are buying status.

Its because of iMessage and also apple exclusive features also because of the UI/UX as well. I prefer android because its WAY better for gaming. But I can understand why most normal people prefer iPhone. Even I had to get an iPhone because of my family using iPhone and the exclusive features. Also imessage is on by default witch causes people to use it without knowing.
@LilPersey I’ve noticed that most people who are chronically online, like me, tend to use Android. On the other hand, people who don’t use the internet as often, like my parents, usually stick with iPhones. For example, my parents use an iPhone 8 because they aren’t very tech-savvy. In high schools, iMessage is essential. Some iPhone users don’t even have a cell phone plan since iMessage is free, which excludes many Android users. This can lead to discrimination against Android users unless they have a really cool phone like an ROG or Redmagic phone. Even then, iPhone users just existing can be a problem for Android users. My entire family doesn’t want to pay for a cell phone plan, so I can’t even communicate with them unless I bring my iPhone instead of my Android. Android users are severely repressed for this reason.

Depends. Literally it new update is similar to one ui 6 and some thing it still does not do better than samsung while other. The same samsung copy from apple. It seem for years they are copying each other. The file managment, the jeyboard experience and even having a u iversel control on samsung is way better in functionality. So no, i don't think iphone are better for options. It depend entirely on the use case and what you gonna use it for. For example, an mechanical engineering need a window laptop since M3 laptop simple are not powerful enough to run solidworks and were not design for engineering in mind except programming. If you buy a samusng you can quick share all your imaages and you can even use USB C to search for file on your phone and transfer it to your PC or navigate the phone files like it is done in window. Samsung have quick share which way quicker than air drop. What is better on iphone is the opmization in app in term of pictures which sadly not all app take advanges of samaung camera. For me at this term is more term of preferences. Still does not have a deciated volume controller which allow you to separately control the volumes and not even connect two speakers or bluetooth headsphones at the same time. There are thing that samaung and other android does way better.

Good video, though I believe you made it with a bit of a bias against Apple in general. The fact people sell their baby to buy an iPhone to create reels does not indicate some sick desire towards a branded luxury product but more a sick desire for fame and money. You could, in fact, also blame Meta for making Instagram reels with the same logic. This also goes for the example you gave about the man lying to police he had been mugged because "he could not bear the fact of not having an iPhone". Is it "an iPhone" or "his iPhone"? Not having enough money to buy a new phone is a whole different reason than just an iPhone. Apple is a branding genius and their ecosystem is a prison. These are facts. The substantiation in your video though, feels a bit cheap and very biased.

Praising their ecosystem is dumb, because it's closed off and makes it difficult to those stuck inside it to leave and buy devices that are objectively better. S24 Ultra pisses all over the 16 Pro in terms of features, design and overall quality, there's no comparison whatsoever.

It’s crazy how people in the comments have built their own personalities around pieces of pocket tech and ironically majority of this people are not Apple users
Phones are just phones and people who judge others based on their phone are shallow. I own a Samsung and an iPhone and I love them both for different reasons
I used to love apple when they were good phones, used to own one too. But only used it for like 2 years max. Switched back to android becuase of the things i can do in it, better camera and better software of samsung. (Little influence of iSheeps also made me switch, their brains are literally dead)

@@thepro7404Majority of Apple’s revenue is from selling hardware. So by locking out features, they can promote their sales. But Google is an ad company. Not a hardware company. So, by restricting iPhones, they are going to gain nothing. They are just going to loose a big % of their income. You have to keep in mind that Google is not paying the people out of their pockets. They are sharing the revenue which was generated from ads that are being shown on the videos which were uploaded by people. It’s like uber launching a phone and restricting ability to book more than 1 ride a week from non uber phones. I know that it’s not a one on one comparison. But I guess you get what I am trying to say.
Yes apple allowed devs to get data like contacts etc, and those devs who could be just Google Facebook etc can easily sell it which they did, and which is y later Apple added that do not track option that just "requests" the app not to sell ur data.
Most of the things you say applies to android. Before iPhones always had an more vertical approach(they don’t do everything, so they try to control most of the hardware) now they do it with multi devices. Thats just good engineering. And if you don’t like apple it’s fine, there are a lot of very fine phones on the android side for you. But please stop the conspiracy theories.
I've had many android phones in my life, but year ago I've bought an used iPhone 12. Not for the status and stuff, I don't care about any of that. I just wanted to try iOS and see for myself if it really is better. And I must say that iOS does in fact feels much better. I don't think I'll be going back to android, since the whole experience feels more much cohesive, I don't really care about customization and it just works. I'm also buying a MacBook Air soon. Again, not for the status, but because the Apple Silicon chips that provide great power and battery life and for macOS, because I don't like Windows, and my Linux knowledge does scale into macOS pretty nicely. Also a plus is that I can develop iOS and macOS applications, and the interconnection between Apple devices looks pretty nice. I however do not sympathize with all of Apple's decisions, like the fact that you cannot develop applications for Apple's platforms outside of macOS, and while I don't really mind the closed ecosystem, I think the App Store could be little bit more open for developers. Your arguments why Apple is bad apply to most other companies as well, but most people don't talk about it because Apple is always the bad one.

After stepping into the repair industry I was clear about the fact that they deliberately make it harder to repair their products.
Exactly 💯

The truth is I am stuck in Apple's world
Steve Jobs presentation shows his genius and his vision. He doesn’t need demand to supply, he can create the demand.
Steve Job presentation vs Iphone 16 presentation
Jobs was no genius. He achieved everything he did on the strength of his personality. His entire career was a succession of last shots.
The problem with Jobs was that his techies were always smarter than he was and that's something he resented!
he isn't
Which tasks you couldn't complete with apple ecosystem?
You don't need to have all Apple products. Most people I know just got iPhone and AirPods and they use Windows PC. The big difference is when you buy Apple you'll have more features and better syncing between device but if you get something else you'll get pretty much the same experience as you get on android in general.
Saying this like most people who own an iPhone don’t use a PC instead of mac 😂

You read me like a book.

I I leftthe apple ecosystem and I'm happier. Apple is good at extracting money.
If you get rejected by a lover or a friend over what device you use, then you should really think about if they are your true love and friends.
So many companies like Xiaomi, Huawei, Vivo, etc. have animations that are on par with that of Apple's mobile devices, if not better😂

As a dev and heavy user, Windows laptops are essentially disposable, with a lifespan measured in 12-18 months.

For me at this term is more term of preferences. Still does not have a deciated volume controller which allow you to separately control the volumes and not even connect two speakers or bluetooth headsphones at the same time. There are thing that samaung and other android does way better.
I liked apple because of Steve Jobs passion and his dedicated attention to the small details. That was the real apple. I had a iPod Touch 4g and a Macbook Pro back in 2013, but I never needed an iPhone. Now, Idk what kind of cheap quality, medieval designed apple this is now but I'll never buy it. The design and experience looks old and useless and for me I'm still waiting for the next steve jobs to take over. Where is the innovation. If im going to spend $2k on a small phone, I want a professionally architected product with smooth graphics that feels personal to me, not a trendy-phone just for tiktok.
Well, thank God I live in Romania because we do not get hooked to any ecosystem so much and early because we're not so technologically developed 🤷

I really despise Apple because of theim being anti consumer (right to repair), and also them not embracing open source at all, even tho they use it themselves and don't contribute. Just sad to see Apple Users just ignoring this fact, you can't even argue with them, because they don't accept other opinions and see themselves as superior.

I just like tech that’s why I like Apple a lot I think that they make the most interesting products
They used to make the most interesting products, not anymore by a long shot.
Even Samsung doesn't innovate as much as they used.
As much as I hate to say it, Chinese companies like Huawei and Xiaomi are absolutely killing it with their new tech ideas.
I mean sure you could very much say that Apple is acting pretty evil, but isn't that almost all companies these days?, Samsung phones get cut off from updates within 3-4 years, They too charge a bombshell for a phone with the same specs as an iphone would have.(Sure you could get lower end/range Samsungs too, but those arent the most powerful devices, and dont have the same level of tech as the high end Samsungs and iPhones would have ..) and they too do act against consumers a ton, after mocking apple for removing the charger, that literally became the norm with all the phones... Headphone jack... gone from everbody's phone. Well Samsung too tries to keep you locked in, Thats what every company ever tries to do, Each tech company wants its useres to own their ecosystem and they would not actually like it if people would try to mix and match stuff....
3-4 years for software updates? No, it's literally 7 years for the new S24 lineup, and only going to get better.
The S24 Ultra outperforms the iPhone 15 Pro Max in every single category, except software optimisation and certain camera features.
I'm not a Samsung fanboy, and I'll call them out for doing dumb shit like following Apple's crappy design philosophy and anti-consumer policies, but they do make better smartphones.

android flagships have more than enough software optimisation to provide a good experience.

whats better: a boring UI that hasnt changed in 5 years or a very slightly less boring UI thats customizable to your heart's content? apple's midnset of "simplicity over usablility" makes their OS objectively worse than android in almost every way. they have the most boring and bland UI out there. like the only customization you had was changing the wallpaper until the upcoming iOS.
"Even on insta and yt comments" maybe stop caring about comments on meaningless social media platforms filled with people who have no idea was daylight is?
"People will always find some way to gloat and boast on how Samsung phones are better than Apple's" maybe because its true? sure, iphone has some advantages, like way better video recording and some other small stuff. but youre nothing but an apple fanboy if you think androids arent better than iphones even though the advantages of iphones over android outweigh the disadvantages.
"the role of the I-sheep has in fact got completely reversed, from the one gloating to the one being gloating one whenever they say even something good about apple" and? apple fanboys have been doing that forever too. maybe try taking off your rose-tinted glasses?
your whole comment is nothing but crying about android fanboys while being an apple fanboy.
"They too charge a bombshell for a phone with the same specs as an iphone would have" irrelavent when iphone offers one phone starting at $1000 and another terrible phone for $400 while there are hundreds of androids for all price ranges.
"Sure you could get lower end/range Samsungs too, but those arent the most powerful devices, and dont have the same level of tech as the high end Samsungs and iPhones would have" so just dont get a samsung? do other companies not exist? just get a budget phone from a different company with way more features.
"Well Samsung too tries to keep you locked in" how exactly does a company try to lock their users in when their phones run an open source operating system? even if they somehow did, no one's stopping you from just not using samsung's version of android. you could easily install a different version of android, or install linux, or even install windows if you felt like it, and this is a capablity that every android device has. if apple tries to lock you in (which they DO) you have no way around it because ios is closed source.
"Each tech company wants its useres to own their ecosystem and they would not actually like it if people would try to mix and match stuff" just like everything else you said, this is also a statement that you pulled out of your ass to try to make it look like samsung is anywhere near as bad as apple.
apple makes wireless earbuds that dont work well with other devices. they make you use imessage that only works with iphones. facetime also doesnt work with anything non-apple.
samsung also makes earbuds but they work normally with other devices. they use RCS for messaging which is a messaging protocol that every device other than iphone uses.
where exactly is the part where samsung is trying to force you to do ANYTHING... in an open source operating system?
😂😂😂 samsung One ui is a heavy ass skin because they suck at making their own shit y’all criticize apple so much but defend samsung but why they don’t have their own OS? instead of piggybacking off of android, and before you answer that ask yourself this,,,,why none of you android glazers with all “confidence” in yourselves to be the best am all 😂😂 why don’t you compare your favorite android’s with other flagship androids? if apple sucks…. sounds like envy coping and lack of admittances 😊
Sorry, I took a bite of the 'apple' and immediately spit it out and went back to android.
my view on pretty mu cc every major phone/computer/gaming company is that i hate the company and it’s practices, but the hardware and, in the case of game consoles, actual games that come from it i like. i wouldn’t really care if the hardware didn’t have the company associated with it, it’s just cool tech in the first place.
I'm an apple fanboy until my iphone 12 pro max broke and was force to buy a $300 android i realized that i'm doing the same thing call, text, message and social media i thought i was using the iphone to it's fullest potential i was wrong from then on i'm just buy a cheap android phone
Apple mfs offended in the replies we rdgaf. Its normal to hate on companies like these and what they stand for.

The only ppl who love those features you've listed are literally iSheep, so your entire point is moot.
Praising their ecosystem is dumb, because it's closed off and makes it difficult to those stuck inside it to leave and buy devices that are objectively better.

@@thepro7404it’s because Google is not a hardware company like Apple. Google is an Ad company.
Yes apple allowed devs to get data like contacts etc, and those devs who could be just Google Facebook etc can easily sell it which they did, and which is y later Apple added that do not track option that just "requests" the app not to sell ur data.
Ok nvm this they actually did sell shit themselves
I’m not gonna deny , you’ll love the silicone chips. They’re amazing.
Yes I think Mac chips are better compared to what they used with Intel. But I do enjoy customization.
