In this Slay the Spire gameplay, Baalorlord does an Ascension 3 run with Watcher. First, he gives tips on choosing a path and a starting bonus. happy bday! Pressure Points is a bad card, mainly because it only interacts with itself. But having one in a deck is not bad for certain fights (e.g., spikers). It also can remove debuffs, which is useful for super powerful cards like TTTH, especially if you don't have a WOTH.

The pure joy you had in picking up those Pressure Points was so worth it
It would be cool if there was a card which proc’d mark twice without increasing it (like a mark dualcast), a mark multiplier which doesn’t proc it (like catalyst), or a zero-cost card that proc’d the existing mark but decreased it by a certain value. So many missed opportunities with that mechanic
I've never seen Time Eater destroyed like that. I also didn't know about the 12th card Vault trick.
I wish there was another card that applied mark. As it stands taking mark is just a gamble with ridiculously low odds
Pressure Points would work very well if it added a copy to your draw pile in a way similar to Anger, though reducing the amount of mark it applied (to 6, maybe, with 9 as an upgrade?) might be a decent nerf in exchange.

Nah that multiplicative scaling is just too difficult to balance. It's in a decent position on its own right now.
You don't necessarily need multiple copies if you have a small deck with high draw

I used a custom seed recently where you start with Pandora's Box -> 7 copies of Pressure Points... and it wasn't as fun as I imagined it would be.

That was a whipping.
This game really needs a few quality-of-life upgrades. Two that have been bugging me involve the Seed numbers in the upper-right-hand corner. 1s and Is look the same, as to 0s and Os. How am I supposed to know which is which? Why can't I copy/paste the Seed number, or access it after the game, if I want to play through that run again? Having a button on the Seed entry on the character select screen that would give me a list of the last, say, 20 runs I've done, with a list of the things I got (cards and relics, basically) would be great, especially if I could then simply select that run for a retry.

I like pressure points but can hardly play it since it only synergies with itself and if you get lucky then sadistic nature as well.
I mean, the big synergies are with draw and scry play. PP is my second favorite way to Watcher (my favorite being Brilliance/Mantra, but that’s WAY harder to assemble)
I feel like i cheated just by watching this video lol..too powahful when there is multiple copies.. i usually only attempt pressurepoint if i see "like water" on act 1 and if i get 2nd one pivot scry or pressure or alpha..
The best deck... for ascension level 3. Why do we care again?

He’s doing a thing where he tries to beat every ascension in a row with a special stipulation (this time was starting with runic pyramid). This happened to be his third run.
