  • WHERE DOES THIS GO NOW?!?!?!
Welp we are here finally, Fallout has had quite a rocky recent history but they have developed a show for Amazon. In truth the most exciting Fallout thing for me recently are the Commander decks for Magic the Gathering and that's about it. I'm curious if Amazon can reel my interest in at all.

It’s not far off at all if they bought everything from moldaver. I could definitely see her having her own. Not explaining everything through exposition does not equate a plot hole imo

I think they are hiding it because it will Have something to do with shady sands. She's Definetely not 100% good.
For someone who seemed to like rose so much she didn't seem to care that Roses daughter was about to be murdered by a guy she let in

Well if they bought everything from Moldaver in a corporate takeover they would have seized that property as Vault Tec's much like the actual Cold Fusion. So unless she somehow managed to keep an unmentioned secret lab that held this cryo pod I doubt that. Additionally, if they do expand on her character in Season 2 it seems a bit silly as she is already dead and her impact on the story already resolved. She got Cooper to distrust his wife, she was a twist anti-hero, passed on the truth about Lucy's father, then died alongside her friend. What more is there besides filling in gaps and plot holes that weren't explored or explained for her character? They literally and figuratively finished her character in one season lmao.

It was her company so she had money and likely connections so having her own little lab and bunker and pod somewhere isn't that much a reach. I suspect we will learn more of her though in season 2.

@@janetd5121 Again, she literally said Vault-Tec bought EVERYTHING, all her research, facilities, and projects including the Cold Fusion. This is Vault Tec, they would scrub her financial records to find every scrap of "property" that now belonged to them, including any facilities which would also have been on record. Keep in mind too, she didn't have any issue with Vault Tec until AFTER they screwed her over. Due to her legal settlement with Vault Tec it's possible that she funded her own private bunker but seems like a stretch she would also be able to recreate her research or cryogenics entirely on her own. More likely she has her "Communist" group supplying donations to a fund to build their own personal vault or something along those lines since most were Hollywood elites. I sorta doubt they expand in S2 though, seems like there isn't much reason to explore Pre-War outside of filling in EXCATLY what happened each day leading up to the bombs, each character arc Pre War was fulfilled. Cooper learned what his wife was up to, Hank was revealed as Vault Tec, Vault Tec was revealed to have dropped the bombs. How a dead Moldaver survived into Post War seems like just a plot clean up rather than a viable addition to S2's plotline.

@@TheWhiteWolf6911I think it’s kind of implied that she somehow had access to veto freeze tech, considering that her research was bought out she’d have a shit Tom of money to buy her own or have access to one at the least, but as for its importance of her being alive still I don’t think it’s necessary doesn’t add much to the story or change it in anyway.

My guess with the nukes is vault tech has access to some nuke bunkers, we all know vault tech and the Enclave are very close. I would not be surprised if they hid some nukes specifically for this purpose if the Enclave and Vault-Tec are working together as is implied in fallout 2

The part when she says “i was gonna stuff a grenade in the neck whole and walk in here and blow everyone up” sounds like a quicksave before you do something dumb so u can load back the quicksave.

Fun easter egg since you seem to be a game fan: 101097 is the date Fallout 1 released.

My Amazon Prime crashed when they showed New Vegas. I reloaded it multiple times, but it kept crashing at New Vegas.

tbh i do not think shady sands was properly nuked, i think they had a radioactive generator or something, and it exploded due to an actual explosive being set off by hank(or his accomplices)

To a certain extent yes. But I don't think it would leave such a nice, perfect, crater shaped, impact site where a warhead most likely stuck. Chernobyl was a nuclear reactor that exploded and didn't create such a drastic result for example, even with handheld explosives you'd need a MOUNTAIN of C4 or any similar explosive to level the entirety of Shady Sands. Even going back to the Chernobyl example, the destruction was only enough to impact the facility itself, then you take into account how large the city is shown to be in the games as well and it seems less and less likely handheld explosives would trigger such a cataclysmic evaporation of the entire city.

We know there is nuclear missiles still left unused in the lore from New Vegas in the divide.

Wait Henry/Hank traveled to New Vegas at the end so does that mean he's going to meet up with life support Mr. House and does that also mean that he traveled through Goodsprings to get to the Strip which wouldn't have taken him that long because on Fallout New Vegas the strip isn't all that far away from Goodsprings although the trip there in the game is incredibly dangerous because of Radscorpions and Deathclaws
