I was 7 years old boy when I saw TNG for the first time. I live in Poland and I never heard about Star Trek before. I remember that day, it was somewhere in 1990 right after 3 pm. I was sitting bored on couch and changing tv channels when accidentally switched to SAT 1. It was a German TV channel and they`ve always running TNG from Mondays to Fridays on 3 pm. I remember that it was a moment when Enterprise flew through the screen and Sir Partick was speaking his monologue. I was shocked. My mind was blown away how beautiful and majestic that ship was. You could sense how big, powerful and technologically advanced it was. Then it engaged into Warp and I heard TNG theme for the first time. Those five seconds made me fell in love in this franchise. Over 30 years later and I still love Star Trek, it has been with me every day of my life. I wanted to be smart as Picard, handsome as Riker, brawe as Worf and have a beatuful girlfriend like Deanna. TNG shaped my life. Back than I didn`t know about TOS and when I saw Kirk and his crew for the first time im TMP I was dissapointed. They looked silly, their technology was old, ships were obsolete and primitive, they couldn`t compete with Enterprise D and TNG crew. With time I started to enjoy other ST shows but TNG will be always a "true" Star Trek for me.
Thank You, from the bottom of every Trekkies heart, for the most touching video i've, and many others, have had the express pleasure, and enjoyment, of watching. We might not be space explores, but in the great depths of TH-cam to find this touches many.

WOW! This Clip is what Star Trek is all about and why I love it for so many years! The possibilities for mankind are endless when we stop fighting each other and start working together to built a better future!
I watch this and am at once so happy; and yet so sad for the world. Here is the truth of what Humanity could be. I only wish we could mirror this ideal as a species. Thank you.
I've worked the past nine months (from october to july) as COVID-19 contact and trace investigator at my state health services. In those nine months i've seen more death and despair then most people do in a lifetime. Sometimes it was hard to see through the darkness of it all. When i thought i couldnt see through it anymore, I searched up this video and it showed and star trek (again) reminded me of the strength of humanity, and our ability to overcome great strife an do better ourselves
This is so amazing. It's just a short recap of what life should be and an ecouragement to go chase that goal you've always wanted to reach. When Kirk said that it's time for a new crew to take over, I believe Roddenberry said to us: now it's time for you to boldly go, get out there, and make the world the most amazing thing it can be. I'm sure that if everyone would think the way Star Trek does, the world would be a much better place. Star Trek is my life, and this video portrayed exactly why.
This video shows nearly every reasons why I love Star Trek - and science. I am looking for new questions too. I think Star Trek is one of the most important reasons why I found myself in working in science.
If star trek ever gave me anything, it's the will to better myself and be useful to humanity as much as I can. And you know what, I think that's a pretty good message.
I seen Star Trek since it first air and love it. The message it give humanity is we can achieve anything as long as we can put our differences aside and work to better humanity.
Exactly! We shall NEVER let history forget....the names....of the explorers! Both Earth, Federation's, and those that explored before humans......that truly star treked.

@MonkeyZorr And everything you said would be wrong, there is plenty of Discovery that is Star Trek, the only thing that is changed is that they are telling the stories in different ways
If you can't take a little bit of a blood bath out there, you should stay home. Space, not for the faint of hearts, but for those that can conquer which is dark, cold, and dangerous in many ways.
