Snobbery is such a toxic thing! I love this fragrance, always have, always will. I will never victimize a fragrance for its success. With a massive collection, I wear all my fragrances once in a long while, and it's a pleasure to revisit this every now and then. I love your reviews!
I could never enjoy 1 Million. Not because of its success, but because I generally don't enjoy like the scent. Smells like too many notes clashing against each other. So I get this really dense leather fruity and spicy mix that overwhelms my nose.
It's a nice scent for about an hour. I just feel like you smell like every dude when uou wear it. Finding a great scent that not many wear is a great thing.

I'll never forget this fragrance because when I was 21 a whole bottle of it was dropped and smashed on a plane in the seats next to ours, 4 hour flight with nothing but this overpowering stench the whole time. Had the worst headache and sickness when I got off and whenever I smell this I am reminded of that. LOL.
I had 1 million in high school, fresh released and it was fire. One of the fragrances that opened my nose for more than "smell good, clean, that's it" I like when you take your time to breakdown fragrances like this, kind of game changers for public. Big up!
I have this fragrance from August 2022, I didn't know that this fragrance is so popular until I didn't start to watch YT video about fragrances, I like it ,same as JPG Le Male, I'm from a poor country and I never smell before those fragrances. I really like 1 Million and Le Male and for me doesn't matter what 'fragrance community' is think about them. Thank you very much for your's amazing reviews. I would like to hear yours opinion about one of my favorites fragrances Histoires de Parfums 1740, It's so amazing and original.
They’re excellent when you’re in a small country, where rarely anyone else will be smelling like you, and clone fragrances are almost impossible to come by/sell. But here in good ol’ over saturated America, if you smell something as nice as 1 Mil or Le Male, you’re guaranteed to see several people take it on as their signature scent. Which isn’t a problem, not as big a problem as the people who love it so much that they make sure everyone within a 3 mile radius can smell them. When people do that it Makes it real easy to get tired of a scent regardless of how amazing it smells
Love it for how you wear it. TH-cam has many people who love and hate fragrances but what matters is how you feel when you put it on. Grace and peace to you in your home land.
When all is said and done the single most important thing s that you like it and you wear it because you like it. In reality it does not matter what anyone else thinks. You have the right attitude.
The other thing worth remembering is that even in rich countries like the US or UK or Europe etc. 9 out of 10 men don't even wear a fragrance, certainly not on a daily or regular basis, so regardless of what you are wearing pretty much, you are always going to smell better than 90% of the other guys out there.
I liked the 1Million EDT a lot for quite a time and I still think it’s good. This year I bought 1Million Parfum and now it’s the perfume that I wear the most often, I like the sunscreen vibe it gives of.

Just bought and received your OUD perfume. Phenomenal 👌👌👌The only room for improvement is the labeling on the bottle.. you probably know about this... However the smell itself is ❤️❤️❤️
I'm not a big fan of One Million, and I haven't come across a Paco Rabanne fragrance I actually liked since the original Pour Homme. However, I do find them innovative, trendsetting. One Million is pure genius. Ladies love it on young men. If I were in my late teens or early twenties, I reckon I would like it a lot more.
hello aaron. Can you tell me how long a fragrance lasts? I just received a 2016 batch of the original 1 million edt and it has no smell. Its authentic.
Can you do a review on a new unique niche Mancera fragrance, called Tonka Cola. It has coca cola, cherry, lemon, patchouli vanilla and cinnamon as a main notes. It looks like it would be new star maybe, so i am interested in your personal opinion.
I never had this, but one of my all time favs is Paco Rabbanne, the original green bottle. I also recently bought Ultra Red, and love that too. It's a very reliable house.
Thanks for mentioning the snobbery found in the frag community. I have a few scents that have been out a while and are no longer in fashion and although the community is done with them, I still wear them and love them. As always, great review!
Still nice, had 2 bottles, just bought Lucky recently which seems a natural progression of the line. Would like to hear some reviews of Ormonde jayne montabaco intensivo or muscat. Thanks.
I have it and it's a very strongly sweet fragrance. If you want to smell like fresh baked oatmeal raisin cookies and baby powder and bubble gum, this is it. I actually like the smell and I wear it occasionally, for outdoors wear, as a very small spray on clothes or skin.
I love 1 Million and still wear it. I think it was a natural progression from CK Obsession to 1 Million to walk into the future with. I still love Obsession also.
Back in the day I did like it, but like you said, you smelled it everywhere you went, now I much prefer the flankers like lucky and preve and the elixir.
This is the fragrance that started it all for me. I had always assumed all perfume just smelled like a clean soapy citrus scent, until I got my hands on a bottle of this for Christmas. This is the smell of my 20s.
I think removing the snobbery factor is a good thing, and to have a REAL PERFUMER praise the work of others is I think generous. I do not think any perfume is entirely free of synthetics regardless of cost as there will always be certain fragrances that cannot be created from natural ingredients, so I think the Frag Comm concentration on criticizing perfumes that are heavy on synthetic ingredients is a little disingenuous. I actually quite like the fragrance, but do not wear it because I feel it is not really designed for my age group. I did however wear the One Million Cologne, which I thoroughly enjoyed but this was discontinued unfortunately. Keep up the good work Aaron.
Great review.. finally made my purchase and I agree 100% with you. I happen to really enjoy it and I’m 40 years of age.. there is a synthetic vibe to it but I love sweet spicy clean smelling fragrances. This is up my alley and I don’t care how old it is or the time and place of it… looking forward to wearing it
Hello ✌️ Since your a chemist of scent and perfumery. I have question for you. I have a particular cologne that I love the scent of but each time I use it,if I use it on the heavy side it seems with inn 15 minutes the scent of it makes me really sleepy for about 15 -20 minutes... Can you give me any feedback on if this could be the ingredients of the juice ....
Always liked this one, on my skin is more spicy than it is sweet wich i find awesome. People do hate on fragances that are popular and sell well....they want that false sense of "exclusivity" but in the end all of these companies are massive for the same reason, they sell and sell a lot. (And most of the other fragance channels do tend to be snobs about popular scents too wich further increases the "hate" cycle).
I first had this about 7 years ago when my mum brought me a present back when she lived in the UAE, loved it then, when I used it up I bought another bottle and kind of went off it.
I love Paco 1Million very much but the mentioned notes make no sense to me. For me this is a linear fragrance I enjoy for the bubblegum grapefruit opening. At the heart and drydown I'm already over it and wanting it off me. For me that's just "perfume" -- it either opens nicely with a terrible drydown OR it has a challenging opening that goes somewhere beautiful as it sits. I rarely feel a fragrance works on all those levels. The difficult openers make nice skin scents later too; these are the ones I really like the most. The nice openers, when they do NOT turn into good skin scents, are not suitable for dating.
I wasn't a huge fan when I first smelled it as a new fraghead. But the sales person kinda threw it at me maybe I'll go back and give it a go . I was also wearing bvlgari wood essence as my first purchase which is super dry.
I like it for myself ! A lot of mens frags are now sweet and very unisex. The female version has the honey which I don't like. All the other femme scents are very sweet for me. So I have to accept a few mens fragrances in my collection. I'm in denial still. :))
I loved this when it first came out and I still do, I hate snobs ill where this now and then along with cool water, i mix these up with my expensive Oud fragrances because I love them.
Got the 200ml for 30 euro or something like that. I think the bottle's quite funny, the button for the atomizer isn't my favourite. I think the scent's likable. It can make you go hungry indeed, bottled apple pie. The fragrance community prefers originality in general and thus can be vocally against successful scents. Phototoxic? Can the oil of grapefruit react to sunlight in such a way it can become allergenic or something?
I still love it been wearing for 12 years although Ive shifted into 1 million Elixir (day fall winter) and Lucky (summer day BANGER!) mostly Hard pass on the parfum though with that iris lipstick smell, yuck
lucky and parfum are the only two in the line i like (got a 200ml backup bottle on Thursday for £47 in a uk high Street shop that has perfume in the name lol)
OMG, yes, Prive is my baby! Unfortunately, I think it's discontinued or being discontinued, and has always been like the red-headed step-child of the 1 Million line. Not sure why, but it's such a great scent, especially for cool/cold weather. Falls into place with D&G The One EDP, Montblanc Legend Night, etc.
I'm on the side of the fence of, "Wear what you want to wear." Is it played out? Well if so then noone has been wearing it. So wear it. It solves two problems. You're bringing it back, and you wear what you enjoy. I personally know so many people that avoid what they love to wear simply because it's played out. Quite tragic.
Kind of surprised. Most reviewers I’ve listened to have negative opinions and I’ve stayed away from it for that reason. I will give it a try with an open mind now. Thanks
if its nice its nice, i feel if it was in fashion when i was young it suits me when im older because im not trying to impress anyone younger than me, my generation probably still love it, the main ones from my gen were ysl jazz, farenheit ,drakkar, jean paul man and i still love and remember them, but i dont like some of the modern ones like sauvage for instance which is hugely popular.
Getting One Million taught me a lesson early on in my fragrance journey to never buy perfume based on the opening. I liked how it smelled when I sprayed it on. But, by the time I got home it made me so nauseous I just had to scrub this off my skin. It's sickly sweet and extremely synthetic smelling.
@@ilalo83 Amazing, very mature comment. If you like this fragrance, enjoy it mate, however, I'd urge you to try something of a higher quality and then come back and tell me I've got a broken nose.
What a coincidence because I learned this very lesson last night. I wanted to get my hands on Dylan Blue so I went to my local store and sprayed some on paper cards they have nearby the fragrances. The opening note was actually brilliant so I decided to walk around the store and let it dry down a bit. I smelled it again about 10 minutes later and oh my GOD it smelled awful. It was one of the first fragrances I've smelled in a long time that was just plain bad and offensive to me. I waited another 10 minutes to let it settle some more and it didnt improve so I threw the card away and left.
This channel is such an oasis.

Thank you brother for another honest review. God bless. Great hair style.
I loved this when it first came out and I still do, I hate snobs ill where this now and then along with cool water, i mix these up with my expensive Oud fragrances because I love them.
A classic paco rabanne review would be nice to see to. The good old XS eau de toilette. 😀
Can you review the 1m parfum 2020 released?
I received a free sample of this and I couldn't tell the difference between this and HalloweenMan. Very very close.
I don't have one million but wearing 1 mill Lucky today and have been giving it some wear recently. It's a little more fresh and strong as hell.
Lucky is a powerhouse
Still One of the best
Thank you for sharing your video
Got the 200ml for 30 euro or something like that. I think the bottle's quite funny, the button for the atomizer isn't my favourite. I think the scent's likable. It can make you go hungry indeed, bottled apple pie. The fragrance community prefers originality in general and thus can be vocally against successful scents.
Phototoxic? Can the oil of grapefruit react to sunlight in such a way it can become allergenic or something?
I still love it
been wearing for 12 years although Ive shifted into 1 million Elixir (day fall winter) and Lucky (summer day BANGER!) mostly
Hard pass on the parfum though with that iris lipstick smell, yuck
I'm a woman and I love this scent on me. It smells like warm cinnamon and orange on me. One spray is more than enough for me!
Also - Paco Rabanne 1 Million Oud would be wild!
Enjoy watching you God bless.
lucky and parfum are the only two in the line i like (got a 200ml backup bottle on Thursday for £47 in a uk high Street shop that has perfume in the name lol)
The Privee is actually a banger, fwiw. 🦄👍🏻
I'm on the side of the fence of, "Wear what you want to wear."
Is it played out? Well if so then noone has been wearing it. So wear it. It solves two problems. You're bringing it back, and you wear what you enjoy.
I personally know so many people that avoid what they love to wear simply because it's played out. Quite tragic.
Kind of surprised. Most reviewers I’ve listened to have negative opinions and I’ve stayed away from it for that reason. I will give it a try with an open mind now. Thanks
Just got it today blind buy Really Nice 😊
if its nice its nice, i feel if it was in fashion when i was young it suits me when im older because im not trying to impress anyone younger than me, my generation probably still love it, the main ones from my gen were ysl jazz, farenheit ,drakkar, jean paul man and i still love and remember them, but i dont like some of the modern ones like sauvage for instance which is hugely popular.
Absolutely kicked off the sweet bubblegum trend in mens frags that very much continued today
The best fragrance of all time
Great Review for a great Parfum.
Getting One Million taught me a lesson early on in my fragrance journey to never buy perfume based on the opening. I liked how it smelled when I sprayed it on. But, by the time I got home it made me so nauseous I just had to scrub this off my skin. It's sickly sweet and extremely synthetic smelling.
lol, broken nose
@@ilalo83 Amazing, very mature comment. If you like this fragrance, enjoy it mate, however, I'd urge you to try something of a higher quality and then come back and tell me I've got a broken nose.
I hated it, it smells like pencil point
What a coincidence because I learned this very lesson last night.
I wanted to get my hands on Dylan Blue so I went to my local store and sprayed some on paper cards they have nearby the fragrances.
The opening note was actually brilliant so I decided to walk around the store and let it dry down a bit.
I smelled it again about 10 minutes later and oh my GOD it smelled awful. It was one of the first fragrances I've smelled in a long time that was just plain bad and offensive to me.
I waited another 10 minutes to let it settle some more and it didnt improve so I threw the card away and left.
@@ilalo83 I mean it is Hella synthetic as are all Paco fragrances, the brand is literally known for it lmao
I love this one. Bought a bottle for my husband and for myself. (Don’t love the bottle though.)
2021 batch - 1hr projection and 6-8 longevity.
What the hell happened to this gem ?
Nice shirt
Prive and Lucky I like. The OG and Elixir not so much.
I love it, and I get a lot of compliments from women still
This was the first real fragrance I had. Started wearing it at about 16
I love it. I have the parfum edition. And layer it with Montale Oud forest.
hows the performance of the parfum edition?
@@frogface2009 it projects strong for about 10 hours it very good
Aaron don't forget the performance, it's one of the important thing
