Why would anyone disagree with this expert about the best diet for sugar gliders? Dr. Brust has the education, the experience, and the love for these adorable little creatures.
i know your comment is a year old but you should probably give half and half part old diet part new diet and if he likes it then convert fully little bits at a time
i only just found out about sugar gliders 2 days ago but i already love them i want to get one but my dad says no hes thinking right now and if he says yes i will go crazy
I want to get a sugar glider this summer, but I'm worried whether or not they can live on high temperature weather, I live in a city which temperatures go aprox. 10-20 on winter, to even 35 or 40 degrees celsius on summer. My house is very cool both on winter and summer but I want to know how well they can survive. I'd also like to know if it is necessary to feed them on pellets or if they can live on fruits and vegetables? I'm not sure they sell the pellets at the store.
Hi there. I live in Dubai and just bought a sugar glider. sadly they don't sell any sugar glider food ( you said pallets) in Dubai and they just feed them with guinea pig and rat food (mostly seeds etc) watching your videos you said they need 75% Protein so I been giving him small piece of boiled chicken. is there anything else i can give him. I feel like he might get bored of having chicken everyday. i give him his daily fruit and veggies but am concerned about his protein.
so do you put the "gravy" mixture on the pellets everyday? What I'm saying is that do you put the hpw on the pellets for each serving? Is it only once?
they are not hard to follow and if u dont want to spend 30 dollars or 50 dollars a month to feed them then u dont need them because when they get sick with HLP ur vet bill will be crazy high and diet could have saved u the trouble and expense

well the point is its still harder to do then feeding them pellets

I'm confused. Do you only feed your gliders the smart hpw on top of dry pellets and not give them fruits and vegetables at all? Pleae help.
