A great artist, guitar player, thinker, and teacher - Martin Taylor. Beautiful playing. I also appreciated the interesting camera angle shots of your right hand. Always a revelation.

Great performance and video, though I'd argue that the Coleman Hawkins recording was more significant than Louis Armstrong's - that could be a youth bias though

I really like your latest CD Love Songs. You should do a full CD of music played strictly acoustic or nylon string guitar.

In my opinion, Martin is the greatest leaving guitarist

How are you recording this? Direct or a miked up amp. It's lovely.

    Great playing as usual.
Nice sounding small archtop. Looks like it's a pleasure to play.
Notice you're resting it on your left knee. Unconventional.
Pierre Bensusan also went to a smaller guitar as he got older and also rests the guitar on his left knee.
Is the guitar size and placement easier on the body the way you play?
I, who am on a totally lower level, also like smaller bodies as I age, and grow larger. The smaller body feels more comfortable and sonically balanced, less bass heavy.
Now I have to try resting the guitar on my left knee. It will take getting used to , as for the past 50 years I've rested the guitarvon my let knee when sitting and playing.
    Keep cool.
PS I don't see you playing Martins or Taylors. I'm sure they'd love your endorsements , but you have other preferences. I love Martin acoustics and Gibson archtops.

Of course the playing was extraordinarily good but this particular guitar sounds like it does have body and soul.
