I've loved Martin Taylor for decades and recognize him as one of the world's great virtuosos; beautiful exciting execution ("take one" - boy, if that's not rubbing it in!)
An entire rhythm section, and melodic ensemble in your fingers there Martin, I can literally see the years of development in your style, congratulations mate, you are brilliant.

Very nice to hear you mention Al Haig. I was always astonished by his playing, especially his intros to nearly every Charlie Parker Tune. Wonder if he ever got royalties? Did you ever get to meet or play with Alan Clare? Another favorite from listening to Steph. I thought his sense of Swing was just electric.
