Great informative video. Just picked up a bottle of the Codigo mezcal recently and I think it’s great. I’m just getting into tequila and mezcal. Personally, I can’t drink liquor neat, I do mixed drinks. The Codigo mezcal smokiness is so delicious and not overpowering like some other mezcals I’ve tried.

Any idea why some of the bottles have a state on them? I live in Indiana and just bought one with the state outline + Indiana on it. I saw a Missouri one too. What's going on? Thanks!
That's a really good question. I just checked mine and none have this! I have the Rosa, Rare Hare, and their Mezcal and couldn't replicate that. Florida is one of the select states that is always first to market with tequila, so maybe they did that to commemorate getting it to the Midwest. I'm from Minnesota originally and will have to check with some of my peeps up there. Thanks as always for stopping by.
I've only tried Tequila once and it was 1800,wasn't a fan of it. I've been thinking about trying his brand and i like Vanilla. Also more of a whiskey guy myself.

The Codigo 1530 Blanco is my go-to for sipping. It is smooth, tastes great and slides down with no burn. If you ever review the George Strait Origen Tequila, I hope you'll let me know! I have a bottle downstairs that is waiting for a REALLY special occasion to be opened. Don't know what that will be yet, but it will be really darn special! :)

Great informative video. Just picked up a bottle of the Codigo mezcal recently and I think it’s great. I’m just getting into tequila and mezcal.
