    I’m 66 years old.
I’ve been playing guitar since I was age 11.
It’s sad how all these years I used to think I was good.
    Then Josh came along.
    Thanks a lot, Josh. Sigh.

For someone of 66 years of age, u r quite dumb.
Stop comparing urself to other musicians/Guitarists
Enjoy the level u r at, does it matter if u aren't the best player on the planet if u enjoy what u do?
Life is not a competition, it's an exhibition

Roger Barreto Umm, Chill out Rog. My post was tongue in cheek. In jest. Sarcasm. Satire. Self deprecating humor. Calling me names? Wow. I’m a damned good guitarist. My comments were a tribute to Josh and his talents. Try to think next time before you make a fool of yourself. Have a super nice day.

Your performance with Allison was the first of your videos that I had seen. I was sharing it with my daughter and she was impressed with Miss Young's voice as I was. I said "yeah but listen to the guitar, this guy is incredible". True story.

Thank you Josh Turner for this. It is such a beautiful arrangement. I'm 63 YO and am on the final verge of nailing it!! I love that you have such a diverse repertoire, I'm a big fan and so appreciate your taking the time to break this song down and I learn cool stuff every time I watch you.

Hey man I just wanted to say that I’ve been practicing this song once a week for almost a year now and I am THOROUGHLY impressed with your hard work that you put into this song. This is so incredibly difficult compared to any other song I have learned. You definitely don’t get paid enough to take the time to make a song sound that good.

Josh, I have been trying to think of the best way to express just how tremendously talented you are and all those with whom you have made countless videos over these years. So the best way is simply this: I listen to one of your songs; then I have to listen to another, and then another--------. Just when I need to do something else, I tell myself, "just one more." There you have it. I wish you and all those with whom you sing, lead, or accompany the best. Whatever the genre, you all are able to capture the original sound of the original artists. To this I say, outstanding. I know the future holds some tremendous experiences and opportunities for all of you. Kudos!

    13:03
Josh: ''A lot to pick through in this section, but we can do it''
    Me: ''I don't think I can Josh. I'm scared''
Holy cow, I have already put so many hours in this and it has been so rewarding and so challenging... each time I get a piece I'm like ''I don't think my head can remember any more of this song'' and each time I'm amazed at how progress is still being made.
Thanks for this challenging but educative video Josh! (And underexplaining some things so we're left using our own hearing and thinking)

Hey man, recently subscribed, love your channel. I suffer from a early onset arthritis from overplaying + bad form - I've been enjoying your style a lot and was curious if you could answer some burning questions:
    1) What is the mm of string distance you prefer on your guitars for optimal tone+playability/
    2) What are your favorite strings + gauge? (I use elixers 12-.54 phosphor bronze, purely because I like the way they slide but I'd like to try something new!)
    Thank you :)
