In today's video, I continue my drive north towards the Redwoods National Park. I made a stop along the Golden Gate Bridge, a must-see if you're passing through San Franciso. I had a herd of elk to greet me once I arrived at the Elk Country Campground. It was a long drive day but a GOOD day!

Hey ! Take a 45 to an hour walk after dinner to release the sleep hormones and help your brain relax . Also drink some soothing tea before bed as well. If that doesn’t work get you an MMC and get some edibles. Also GET THAT WINDSHIELD FIXED!!

When I can't fall asleep I usually just read and it pretty much puts me to sleep. I've actually fallen asleep with a book in my hand and wake up with it still in my hands. That being said I love to read and it's actually one of my favorite pastimes, guilty pleasure. lol

I loved everything about this video especially because this is my neck of the woods. So funny, my hubby used to travel and work at that exact Target store/ pharmacy. We would use it as a nice little getaway from the SF bay area where we live. We have stopped to see the Elks as well. And Yes, its so incredibly beautiful at the redwoods and all along the coastline. I have spent many vacations at “The Little Red Schoolhouse” Campground. We had a membership for years.

So glad you’re going to the red woods! I cried and cried when they were on fire last year. I’m so interested to see what you find.
When I couldn't sleep, I would use a metronome... back in the day. Now I think you can get apps that do it, but focusing on the rhythm helps clear your mind, and eventually it's like a pavlovian reaction where the sound itself makes you sleepy. I used to keep ticking clocks for years because a quiet room and a clicking clock would put me right to sleep. :D
