My favorite memory is my mom in the kitchen doing my hair! She would use the hot comb and put those pretty curls in! Not to mention the food the next day! I truly miss both my parents!

Happy Easter Everybody! Today I cooked Beef pot roast with carrots, peppers, onions and potatoes. Mixed greens with 7up Pound cake for desert. Favorite memory; saying my Easter speech at church as a child "What yall looking at me for? I didn't come to stay, I just came to tell you Happy Easter Day"...lol

Easter dinner was grilled t-bone steaks, potato salad, asparagus, greens salad, fruit salad and a bunny cake made with my 8 yr old grandson. It was good!

When I was growing up the mom would cook ham, greens, potato salad, yams and cornbread. For dessert a peach cobbler.

Try a strobe light under your van. That works 60-70% of the time, depending on the critter. If you have an emergency flashlight that does an S.O.S signal, that should work.

When using flour shake your chicken in a paper or plastic bag. No mess.
Happy Easter 🐣 I mix all the ingredients in my potato salad while the potatoes are still warm....personal preference, I believe it melds the flavors together. Also I put some dill pickle juice and mustard in mine along with everything else; southern family recipe...yummy😃 We all have the way of cooking like our families, that’s what makes it comfort food💜

When I do potato salad I boil my eggs along with my potatoes so I don’t have to do them in separate pots.

I always boil my eggs with the potatoes, it saves time and in your case water as well as gas
I always loved going to my Grandmother's and Paw Paw's for Easter and searching for the eggs. The food was always ham and turkey and all of the veggies. Grandmother would always make her famous banana pudding. I made roast, collard greens, potato salad, and gravy. We also had cupcakes as well.

My favorite childhood memory would have to be getting my hair pressed and curled, wearing my new dress, hat,gloves,and patent leather shoes! These childhood memories ended up being everlasting down to my 5 daughters and my grandchildren! We dye our eggs on Saturday night,and of course we were in church on Sunday, with a big dinner afterwards! 🙏🏽🤗

And when u said you wanted to cry lol honey I feel you on that I’m a machine operator and my job gets to be quite often to the point where I just have to breathe thru it. My favorite memory is my new Easter clothes and my mother and dad fixing all our candy around the dining room table. And of course, going to church!!
If my hubby was there you would have had wild hog Easter glazed ham with pineapple for dinner. He said, they chase people. Blow your horn at night when you hear something under your home. They could be chewing through your hoses. Easter dinner menu tradition growing up: Ham, greens, mac and cheese, yams, cornbread, butter rolls, fried chicken, cornbread dressing, potato salad with diced apples and diced boiled eggs with the other trimmings. Dessert: Sweet potato pie, coconut and chocolate cake and Banana Pudding. Always the bomb!! Today I have whatever I have a taste for.

Hi Tiffany, just like you boil your potatoes and broccoli together, you can boil your potatoes and eggs together for potato salad. Your amazing and do wanders in your kitchen, i plan on doing just what you are when im fully retired.

I normally put my eggs in the water with the potatoes to cook together for my potato salad. You had a great meal and so calm around all that wildlife. I'm a worry-wart so I probably wouldn't do well out there! 😂 Thanks for sharing!
That looks delicious and it’s amazing how you can do that so well in such a small space. For Easter I made leg of lamb, ham, peas & rice, Mac & cheese, sweet potatoes and mixed vegetables. Something I could never accomplish in that tiny kitchen. Enjoy your Easter dinner

German here, love to eat my potato salad hot, but when I make it for my friends used to cold potato salad I put a stainless steel bowl in ice water and cool them down that way for like 30-40 minutes before putting in the fridge. Avoids condensation and potatoes drying out... might help you with not wanting to warm up the fridge? It would just take a little bit of ice and water in a large bowl with the smaller bowl of potatoes sitting in it, not sure if that is too much water for you to waste when boondocking, tho. :) Clean enough to wash dishes in after, maybe.

Here in the U.K., it’s usually Lamb at Easter, but I am vegetarian, so just had cauliflower cheese!

Favorite Easter memories are spending time with extended family plus my siblings all still in the same place... now we're scattered. My most nostalgic memory of Easter is my mom baking. She used to make these cute little cupcakes that looked like easter baskets with green frosting and green dyed coconut flakes for grass, jelly beans for eggs, and braided pipe cleaner for the handle. We loved those things! At least I did, still a coconut fan lol. Thanks for sharing your day with us Tiffany! XOXO
