Man I used to make fun of girls for that head pat after they got their hair done, but I ended up getting my top done like this and I’m far more sympathetic now 😂

When I had cornrows once, my hair was sooooo itchy. I bought this spray from my local Kroger and like about 15 seconds after I sprayed this spray on my hair it stoped itching. It’s called Jamaican Mango & Lime No More Itch Gro Spray. Hopefully this helps you
Don't You love it when you get that one itch that's right underneath your braid and you can't scratch if without undoing your braids or breaking the rubber band
I'm getting mine braided in just under a week for the first time in many years and I'm extra appreciative of the preventative care tips! I'm about to start on that right nah 🙏🏾 P.S. your video on how to pick out your hair came in clutch this whole week!

Man the beginning of the video was TOO relatable for me lmaooo. got me pausing the vid just to say this lol. Whenever my braids get itchy I be slapping the top my head like crazy!! ok now im finna watch the rest of the vid lol
what I do for itchy scalp is I use a soft bristle hairbrush, wet it with hot water, and then gently brush the parts of my scalp that are super dry and flaky then I use my beard oil (yes that's right) drop applicator to apply my beard oil to my scalp then gently massage it into the areas. I usually use Morrocan oil on my hair and scalp but I got type 4c hair and it eats up that oil/moisture like it's starving and the beard oil seems to work for me. My scalp is not as dry or itchy and I don't get the urge to scratch at it but, I get these phases when I skip wash days or go a little too long in between washes.
I needed this video. Did my two strand twist with the rubber band method and it came out so clean with my parts. 2 days later the pat wasn’t working no more. I just started scratching like crazy😂😂😂
@@thisnigga916lopez9 2 strand twist yeah, can’t braid to save my life. Twists easy asl. Do box braids every now and then just can’t do them going back😂
I'd usually do cornrows all the time because i'd install crotchet hair after that and I didn't have itching...even if I didn't install no extra hair, my braids were fine..now all of a sudden this quarantine making my cornrows got me patting my head boiii D: I cant deal D: but I love your personality and this video and ima definitely get some of the products mentioned.
I got my two strands put in last month on the 29th, then a few days later, wearing a scarf, my head started itching on the sides and the back, idky, but my hair was washed prior to getting it done, maybe it’s the spray that was used? Idk what it is tbh. I gotta find a solution.
i oil it when i wake up in the middle of the day and before i sleep i have really high porosity hair and the oils just eat away so i have to moisturize a whole lot… i know my scalp isn’t dry…
I just washed my braids and did a cleanse 3 days ago and oiled once after and once again yesterday and already itchy… my hair gets dirty fast I guess and super dry 😭😭
I spray my hair with warm water then spray coconut oil everyday before going to sleep, and of course I put a bandana on my head. Then, in the morning, I spray a bit my head with warm water and some olive oil and I put my bandana on my head while I continue my morning routine

He taps it like it’s weave😂🖤
i mean it’s better to pat than scratch weave or not😭
The itch isn't no joke though
It’s the same thing because there’s cornrows under weave
It’s so frustrating

Braids are so itchy I can’t even sleep
that keyboard to the doom actually stopped my itching once fr💀

Tea Tree causes my scalp to burn and hair to fall. Peppermint Oil is my Best Friend or even DIY Peppermint Water Spray that's cool too.
You only need a few drops of tea tree because it’s potent then Dilute with an oil or water 💯 It works wonders for me less is more

You can keep em in for six weeks eight at a push but three to four is the best
