I found it’s best to soak the the braid attachment in apple codaf vinegar for maybe 30 mins - rinse out and then dry a before you braid
Yes. 1 part ACV to 3 parts water: soak the hair for 30 minutes, rinse and braid. It makes so much more sense that doing it AFTER the braiding, lol
Just use itch free hair that is not alkaline. That high pH also breaks down your hair strands
sooo smelly but I've used it on clients and it does work! Thank goodness because when ya"ll itch it's so painful to watch ya"ll go bonkers. And yes the hair still neat after the low manipulation Thanks for the tip sis :)
I’m slapping tf outta my head. Only difference is mine is my real hair and if I went it it’ll frizz and fk it all up. I just slap my head for two weeks and it goes away lol
What is the ratio apple cider vinegar to water
I did once but didn’t leave it in for 20 minutes and my recipe says to dilute in water. I’m going to add a little more acv to my solution and leave it in longer. I usually use Innocense anti itch hair and the person braiding my hair said she would provide the hair. I thought I will try what she buys, huge mistake, hence the itching. I was fine the first 3days but day 4 no. I have also found putting a leave in conditioner helps my hair also. It is day 7 of my knotless braids.
My hair does the same thing. Every time I get my hair braided itches really bad.

I must be allergic too I just got small red n black box braids with pre stretched hair yesterday and it itches really bad and hurts like crazy I hope this method will help me ty😁
Hey hun, the Gel or red on in the scalp when braiding causes that as well
For me 1 week after braiding I usually wash my hair with vinegar and grease/ oil as desired...solves my issues.try it
Did also appeared red bumps with the wild itchiness??? I had my hair braided one day ago and today i got itchiness and red bumps on my edges. 😢 Will it work for the bumps this technique?
Use her method it work but get some Vaseline for the bumps they will go away

I add peppermint oil to the mix. It overpowers the apple cider vinegar.
