the only thing i miss from middle school was when the nurse randomly came in and checked everyone's hair for lice lol

Sometimes if the nurse had extra help they would stay more and the checking would by longer. Also if any of the girls had their hair up they would take it down then the nurse would check and put your hair back up for you (only a few nurse helpers did that).
@Heloisa Carvalho I can be a good thing but also a bad thing because the school I go to in the USA, if they find lice on your head , they would call that teacher on the school phones an tell them that , there student had lice an , the teacher would go around telling the kids to be careful an that lice is in the classroom, an every one would know how it is because they would send one student down one at a time ! 😭

@Heloisa Carvalho we have it where i live but it's basically useless - it lasts 2 seconds per person and this shit happens like once in a whole school year. i love it tho😭
This is why I rlly want a friend or something who does asmr because i would totally be their modelish person and sit there and let them do my hair or make up and whatever. That would be awesome!

In elementary school I didn't know why the nurse did this to our hair but all I knew back then is that if our head itches she would come check our hair so my dumb self not knowing it was a lice check told the teacher my head itches and then my hair was looked through and I was so happy about it 😄

When I was in labour with my son the contractions were getting so bad I couldn’t even move so a nurse offered to massage my scalp and that was hands down the best experience ever

I used to have really really long hair in primary school and during assembly the girls who sat behind me would ask if they could plait it (when the teachers weren't looking). I would always say yes just because it felt so nice. These kind of videos bring this feeling back.

She’s too detailed to not be real. She has clothes, an earring, and even shifts a little when touched. Her ears are a slightly different tone from her shoulders. She’s real. She has very flawless back skin though!

@@abbim2531 in the Netherlands we don't have a schoolnurse, so if that happends we go to our teacher, they know what to do, but if it's really bad they call our parents and they take us home/to the doctor

I’m an Australian and we don’t have them either, if we are injured or something, we get sent to the office and have to sit in a room until we feel better or they call your parents and you have to go home 💀 best way to get out of school 😏
I don’t understand why some interpreting young adults don’t brush hair for money. I would pay $20 an hour for a scalp massage and hair brushing session. If you have enough clients that would beat working at McDs. Wouldn’t it?
Salon service generally costs $1/min plus product. A scalp massage would be $60 minimum for one hour.

But I feel like we don’t do it just for the simple reason of not having a place to do it in.
I would pay the average price of an hour long massage, like $45-$60 +tip for something like this.
@@HopeHomicide a massage therapist has to pay to go to school to learn all the body’s muscles, bones and tendons. They have to pay to get licensed, pay to stay licensed, pay for their equipment, maintain their equipment so they don’t give clients infections and pay taxes. They have a large investment of time and money. Same with hair dressers. I am talking about someone with no training, so no time or money invested, going to someone’s home and using their hair implements. If they were doing it as just a small side hustle they could do it under the table (our government lets illegals work under the table, why not citizens trying to make ends meet?). So $20 an hour for someone with no time or money invested in training and who doesn’t have to provide their own tools or pay taxes would be AHEAD of the game getting $20 an hour.

This reminds me of when me and my best friend would want a massage or us to play with each other’s hair we’d set a 10 minute time to play with each other’s hair and to message each other and we kept putting the time higher and higher 😂

Haha! My sisters and I would do this when we were kids. And we'd always be like, "No! It's only been 4 minutes, I get one more minute!"
I miss lice checks in Elementary School, that’s one of the moments when my ASMR started... just didn’t know what it meant then. ❤️

I know there's all these comments about the school nurses and whatnot. But we used to have people come in once or twice a year to check our heads for lice. Funniest part is, they always used fastfood chopsticks. There was always a giant pile of them at the end as they used a different pair for every student 😂
