- This is What Happens When the New Chef in Town is the Most Dangerous Former Gangster
Taek-il recklessly leaves home, defying his mother, who wanted him to go to college. In an unfamiliar neighborhood, he happens to get a job as a delivery man for a Chinese restaurant and he mingles with new people such as Geo-seok, a chef, and Kyung-ju, a boxer. Meanwhile, his friend Sang-pil enters the private-loan business to make money. At first, making a big fortune seems easy, but he soon faces unexpected and painful difficulties.

Probably the most wholesome gangster movie I've watched in a long time. No heavy violence or over the top bloodshed, just a very realistic interpretation of how gangs operated and how most people just wanted to live normal lives.

@@nexesses1548 Yea but a cerebral film to me doesn’t have children’s fables type moral lessons. Also these are works of fiction it is kind of silly and naive to apply these “lessons” to most real world situations.
@@betterdrugsthanyours you would be surprised how much you can learn from fiction. Don’t relate it directly of course. But I’ve met some very wise people I felt had tons of life experience, turns out a lot of it came from books, a lot of thinking and brain power and placing himself in similar situations.
If you think lessons are only for children I don’t know what to tell you. Listen the morals this channel names at the end of each video are very surface level, I understand that. They aren’t helpful really, but that’s the fault of the narrator not the story itself. Almost every story has something to teach.

I really loved this movie, and all the characters feel so real and natural. The story was one hell of a wholesome experience. I enjoyed every bit of it.
If I'm not mistaken, the character Geoseok looks like Dr Strange's Asian sidekick/assistant in his younger years, or it seems their faces look similar.
