And I wouldn't pick Ingrid for a German. It's more of a Nordic name, think Sweden. The last time that name was really popular in Germany was from the 1930's to the early 50's.

Gee, the moment they showed he was picked up sleeping from a bench, I instantly knew he was the author. LOL
I thought it would be like The Menu. Nope..what the hell is even the plot? Old man died for nothing, some girl got shot for nothing.. the author survived cause he had a book to his chest? Are you kidding me? As if a bullet fired from that close range can be stopped by a book😂😂
The author could've very well extorted the publisher with his leak scare without infiltrating the group of translators. Instead he joined the group and caused all this collateral damages. Dude's a sociopath.
Apart from the seemingly inevitable deaths and murders which are a part of all thriller movies these days, the overview held my attention better than any other Recap film I’ve watched for a long time. 😊 Excellent. 😅
Ridiculously convoluted
I never saw this movie, but the plot as given here is absolutely bonkers.
He got the plot totally wrong. Apparently, it was actually his method of getting revenge for the death of his father.
fans of the book will not read any leaks and buy the book, regardless... especially if the first two were great

The translator got it wrong. He father was murdered Long back. This was the revenge.
The publisher just gave 10 pages to each translator so when the blackmailer threatened to release 100 pages why would he doubt the translator considering even if one of them had been the blackmailer how would they release 100 pages.. That was just silly goof probably to force a plot where non existed just either it was lazy writing or not a intelligent one...

PSA - do the homework cause being a delinquent doesn't mean you can write delinquents (delinquent characters are another way of saying complex characters and that word, complex, alone scares off lazy delinquents)
