I’m a big boxing fan, but things have to change to get one belt and one champion. The fact that the best fighters don’t have to fight each other to become champion. This isn’t just a problem at heavyweight, it’s pretty much all weight classes
@@mycommentwilltriggeryou9810 corruption in boxing is a problem, but it’s one that get’s found out and removed in this day and age. Having one champion would mean that the best fight the best, even getting a chance to fight for a world title would be a big achievement. And that would massively benefit the fans, but also growing the audience and then a bigger purse going to the fighters for making the big fights.
@@mycommentwilltriggeryou9810 Lou Duva, Gil Clancy, and Al Certo all preferred 50s era where there was one champion even though corruption was rampant. Corruption will always be apart of boxing, but to claim we shouldn't have one champion due to it is ludicrous. Especially when with four titles we just have four corrupt entities.
If he retires, great for Tyson. He’s doing it while on top. If he fights the winner of AJ v usyk, that’s great too. But either way, he’s been a real fun, solid champ/person. Cheers Tyson.
I don’t think it’s our place to say he’s making a mistake retiring, he’s doing it for personal reasons after all. I can understand why someone would want that break after non stop working and fighting.
Spot on pal I'd love the fury vs Joshua fight just to see fury beat him but if he retires then fair enough he's proved last couple years or so he's number 1 anyway for me

Whyte’s demeanor was just so disappointing it was just clear he was lackluster still think Fury would’ve won regardless but as someone who think he deserved a title shot for awhile it was frustrating to watch
I just think Fury is so good that he made Dillian look very average, if he went lunging in he would have got sparked out much earlier. I also love the talk about Whyte's dirty fighting when if you watch it back it was Fury doing it first, even Ngannou picked that up.
Mate, I totally agree with you. He was part of the McGregor hype wave of combat sport sports fans and now he's trying to pretend to be a major fighting sports pundit. But in his defense, most of his viewers don't know fuck all about fighting so he probably is a very knowledgeable man infront of 95% of people who watch his videos. I don't watch him because it's just so cringe. This is the guy that seriously thought McGregor was going to beat Khabib. 😂
I think he's getting out now because he's scared of losing. He knows that Usyk is a genuine threat, with his skill level. Usyk has a great chance of negating Fury's big size advantage and Fury knows this. It's a very tough fight from a tactical perspective, rather than a danger of KO. The last time Fury faced a small, fairly-quick Cruiserweight, Steve Cunningham put him on his backside for a brief count. Fury did recover to bludgeon Cunningham to defeat but Usyk's different gravy. It's sad that the "best fighters" aren't trying hard enough to face each other. Spence-Crawford are guilty too.
Tyson fury is twice the size of usyk I like usyk to but come Tyson very slick and punches harder and is 6’9 270 plus look at the haye vs klitschko fight to see what size does to a heavyweight does to a cruiser weight.
@@BlackWolf-el3gu Twice the size but was dropped by Cunningham, who was a far worse Cruiserweight and Heavyweight than Usyk. Styles make fights and Fury's looked good because he's up against opponents with little to no boxing ability. If we're being honest, the last good boxer Fury faced was a 39-year old Wladimir Klitschko. Wilder was just a puncher, never a real boxer. Dillian Whyte a worthy contender who deserved his shot but Usyk's a different animal. If Usyk's such an easy fight for Fury, he'd have agreed to it by now. The Joshua rematch would be on the backburner.
I absolutely agree with everything in this video. Fury is a bunch of contradiction. You can’t suddenly say you’re the greatest in your era and then duck the great fighters in your era. He needs to fight atleast AJ because we’ve all waited for that fight since forever!

Everything about Ngannou being dangerous is true, but Ngannou has no stamina and definitely wouldn’t in boxing. Tyson would just tire him out for 3 rounds, then its easy game to be honest.
I think it would be a first round KO for Tyson, I can see Francis wading in with an immediate and predictable hard right haymaker, which will hit nothing but air - and the counter will stagger him setting up a fierce one-two and then uppercut. First round win for Tyson easy money. Franny better hope he wants to give us a show for longer than it will really take.
Absolutely but this is like a personal favour to Francis. This will be a huge payday especially if the UFC is involved in the promotion. If I were Francis I’m going in with everything in the first round and I’m not getting up once put on the ground. ££££
You will know instantly if he's thinking of really retiring as I said before it depends on whether he relinquishes the titles if he doesn't then you know he's not retiring it's not rocket science
I AGREE !! He spoke of the emptiness he felt inside after Klitschko & being away from the sport & its healthy routines with training. What about future decades when he will look back at how he walked away as a Lineal Champ in his prime with only ~2 wins away from elevating his legacy & inarguably cementing his place amongst the very best in history? Big mistake if he's really serious about retirement (which he prob isn't lol). He can only add to what he has already achieved.
Wtf is the lineal champ he beat the man who held the belts for ten years Vladimir was bored 10 years defended the belts worst fight I ever seen fury beat wilder white after that how the fuck does this make him a legend
@@Ukman-england yeah he is the best of this era with very little doubt. I still think he should fight the winner of Joshua Vs usyk 2 before hanging it up to be undoubtedly the best of this era in my opinion but even that's not exactly an amazing achievement considering the state of the heavyweight division especially when compared to other era's.
@@Ukman-england I agree with you. since his comeback he beat 2 or 3 complete nobodies which made sense since it's his return so that's reasonable and then the fights the same overrated bum 3 times in a row (corrupt or terrible judges in the first fight) who's best win is over a 40+ year old luiz Ortiz. (Who he almost got KO'd by in the 1st fight he had if I remember correctly). Then Whyte, it doesn't even need explaining on why he's not a special win. This guy is not a boxing great and no one will look back on this era in years to come when thinking about all time heavyweight GOAT's.
Totally agree with everything you say. Three boxing matches a year, and clean up. He could leave them all unscathed if he took them seriously. Would need a come back or two with the best afterwards to be considered amongst the best ever. At the very least aj and usyk needs to be dealt with. He’s got it in him I reckon. Silk sheets tho.
I think he values his undefeated record very high and he thinks he has done enough to slip away as one of the greatest without risking his record against usyk or joshua
@@Josh-sx2io Joshua and usyk are both better than anyone fury has fought, they both bring unique problems, Joshua's power and agressiveness as well as his atleticsm and boxing ability, usyk is the best technical heavyweight and is more skilled than fury, he'd likely beat them but not easily
He was offered the big bucks to fight AJ but he ducked the fight by tying himself up in contracts to fight bums and rematch the most unskilled heavyweight ever. This is why boxing sucks because their is more reward in not taking fights and padding your record than taking risks and the big fights. This man never had any interest in fighting the likes of AJ and Usyk because he likes to cherry pick easy fights.
He isn't retiring. He just knows his worth. And by saying he is retired it will just get better offers. The proof will be when the period to defend/vacate the WBC belt ends. If he vacates it. It will devalue any potential fight. As said here. Just a genius market ploy.
I agree with pretty much everything you said here. As a Fury fan I have little to no interest in seeing the Ngannou fight when there's the opportunity to fight for the undisputed heavyweight championship. That's the only thing Tyson has left to achieve in his career and it will be the first time in 22+ years there will be an undisputed heavyweight champ in boxing.
@@HereForMma that just makes it an even sillier fight to take, imagine Fury gets KO'd cold by Ngannou how much of a setback it would be for him, and then he'd probably have to try to get a rematch just to save face. it would be a huge embarrassment and for what gain? choosing a silly novelty fight over the undisputed heavyweight championship?
i totally agree with you,to be considered in the same league as Lennox he has to beat the big boys and go out with a bang and comparing to Rocky Marciano is laughable........rocky fought 49 fights, whereas fury only had 32
The comeback has to be considered to get to near 30 stone, everyone who saw him thought his next fight was heart disease, to come back to be the best again is a monumental feat And you can only beat what out there, Joshua been beaten twice so what kind of legacy is there in that he wins and it 'oh Joshua has glass chin'. If you look at Fury's fights and who gave him the most trouble, those were smaller/lighter guys with speed and preferably southpaws. Cunningham was small and fast, Wallin was about as fast as Fury and southpaw, Wilder was relatively fast too. Stylistically, Usyk is a nightmare for him. Doesn't mena Fury would lose but Joshua would be a much easier task than Usyk and perhaps he just waits and hopes Joshua wins.
Absolutely... People will say, Cunningham was 10 years ago and Fury is a different fighter now but completely ignoring the fact that Usyk is light-years ahead of Cunningham... It's a hell of a fight and no walk in the park like these Fury fans that seem to think .. I have to either imagine that they have never watched an Usyk fight or don't know what they're watching
I couldn’t have said this better myself. I don’t want to say it because I give all fighters credit, especially Fury, but I really hope this retirement thing isn’t just a ploy to wait for the AJ v Usyk winner and decide then whether you’re really retired or not.
If AJ does by some miracle beat Usyk you can guarantee when they ask him who do you want next he'll come out with the classic "you'll have to ask my team about that. You know me, I'll fight anyone"
very unfair that. aj has arguably the best resume in the division. he's never lined up bums like tom schwarz and otto wallin like fury did whilst claiming to be the greatest. aj has fought top 10 guys when he didn't need to. he was desperate trying to make the wilder fight, even offered wilder tens of millions but wilder refused and went for fury thinking he'd be an easier fight.
@@Lee-ye3ev shows how much you know. Martin was the belt holder, wasn’t ‘lined up’. He had to fight him for the title. Brazele fought wilder long after AJ demolished him, the same wilder fury fans like to label as the second best HW. I’ve never heard AJ speak his personal on things. Usually just clichés. He had a fire in him at the early stages. Don’t feel that these days. I don’t sense his desire. His hunger. His okay with losing.
Retiring with only 2 title defences and without fighting 2 of the top HW’s in AJ & Usyk is crazy, I think he beats AJ & Usyk but he still has plenty to show
Geordies right. I think Tyson easily beats AJ and probably beats Usyk due to his size. But if he doesn't take those fights there will always be those question marks hanging over him. Can't see AJ beating Usyk tho.
They said the same thing when Mike Tyson had to face Buster. Than he faced Buster and you know what happened. No imagine if Mike Tyson said he was too good to fight Buster and decided to just "retire". There would have been a question mark.
@@jaispartacus They did. They literally did. Buster Douglas was a massive underdog in that fight and fans did not take him seriously. They forgot that this is heavyweight boxing and anything can happen, just like you are forgetting now.
Surely there must be a reason why AJ and Whyte fought Usky and Fury the way they did. I'm not convinced that they would've done any better if they had tried to brawl with them as everyone says they should've done
If Ngannou will give 100% of himself as you are saying he will be gasping for air after 2 rounds. I think Ngannou will play it safe and smart and we will see a boring fight
Great analyse! Difference with the best boxers in history that they wanted to be the best and defeat everyone who claimed they were better. For example Mike Tyson fought around 15 fights per year. Nowadays they promote a fight a half year and do nothing. It's all about the big cash outs. We want Fury to be challenged by good boxers like AJ and Usyk.
If Usyk goes on a tear and destroys everyone then there will be a huge asterisk near Fury's name when the "GOAT" conversation is being had and people will always remember Usyk over Fury simply because Usyk fought everyone and Fury didn't. I absolutely love Fury, but he's not had a very tough fight since Klitschko. Usyk is the only guy the world can see giving Fury a problem so it won't be forgotten is Usyk continues to dominate.
Great comment! And people like to forget two things; First of all, Klitschko was 39 and clearly shopworn. It was a far easier fight than it would've been 5 years previously. Secondly, Deontay Wilder is vastly overrated. The man has a great right hand but one look at his resume tells us that he'd not beaten one great fighter before he stepped in the ring with Fury. Luis Ortiz was already 40 and past his prime. So, Fury's beaten Chisora twice, an old Klitschko, Wilder and Dillian Whyte. Not much of a resume when compared with the greats of the past. Rocky Marciano was heavily criticized for his opponents after winning the title from Jersey Joe Walcott, in 1952. Likewise, Sonny Liston and, later on, George Foreman, were both slammed for not facing the best contenders during their brief title reigns. Even Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield were picked on for their title defences. So, why should Fury get away with it?
Watching this fight made me respect and appreciate Wilder alot more , he really is the no.2 heavyweight on the planet . When Wilder lost and made excuses Dillian laughed at him more than anyone else, he sowed no respect And said he would ko Fury . Well karma kicked his ass good and proper . Dillians fight against Tyson was boring and lackluster . Tyson made it worth watching by knocking him out . After that lame performance he comes out with some lame excuse about getting pushed and his head hitting the mat . 😆
I respect Fury for his decision. You can see his demur in the build up of the Whyte fight that he was feeling less pressure and enjoying it…knowing it was his last.
I think the problem is with AJ agency or management they won't ever grant the big fights, how many years we wanted to see wilder/aj and never got it ? i think it's the same reason why fury/aj is not happening and i'm fine with fury/ngannu as the final showdown.
Im pretty sure both times its been clear that wilder was at fault and aj/fury would have happened till thw arbitration rubbish came our so u got wilder/fury 3
Wilder rejected the AJ fight and Fury messed the AJ match by trying to arrange it mid arbitration. I don't get why AJ's side are blamed for the decisions of Wilder and Fury
I'm a Tyson Fury fan, and you made some very good points. You had a very intelligent analysis. Consider three fights with Deontay Wilder were very brutal. If the first Wilder fight was outside the USA, Fury would have won. Ali-Frazier three times took much from Ali; and the probably the same with Tyson (versus Wilder). I thought Wilder was the most lethal heavyweight of all time - brutal punching power. In comparing Marciano (I was only 0-3 years old when he was champion), Fury cannot be compared to Marciano because Marciano never fought for 14 years and never fought someone like Wilder three times. There will always be a contender out there; so I am fine with Tyson retiring.' Could Tyson lose to AJ? - Yes. Recommend Tyson not get into a MMA fight though - that is a bad decision.
1:45 I've always said, Wilder was not JUST power. His ability to close the distance was some of the best in the world. I don't even know if I would call it a "Boxing" move, because It's almost more like a basketball player the way he uses that hopstep to gain ground while loading up that right hand. Add in his smothering Jab and now The moment both fighters stepped out of their corner, you were in range of a Knockout shot. He has great Timing and great Patience with it too.
AJ, Usyk and Don't forget Joe Joyce! I think Fury has this undefeated thing in his head as his main focus. He knows with the above 3 he could potentially lose that.

Yeah no way he could be mentioned with the top heavyweights of all time, 5 title fights and 3 against the same man, One against a champion of the past era (although it was a great victory). And one against Dillian Whyte who is a top 10 opponent. Not enough sadly.
I think Dillian would be a perfect guest for Tysons podcast tbf, I think there was more to it with the Tyson fight as that wasn’t the normal Dillian we’ve seen. And his life story is amazing.

He’ll never retire. That’s not Tyson‘s energy or place. All this is going to do is put promoters and organizations in very difficult positions all because he asks for what he deserves
*Francis has a better chance of landing a big shot on Fury than Dillian did.* Francis can cover distance VERY quickly. I hope Fury doesn’t fight Francis, I don’t want to see him land a lucky punch. Francis is basically the same size as Tyson, except all muscle. Now he won’t need to wrestle or kick (which uses more energy) either. Tyson should only fight boxers. Francis should fight Wilder, Whyte, Ajagba, etc.

True Geordie opinions on AJ are so far off its incredible. He just got beat by the better boxer that night and that's what happens when you fight the best and don't build your record off beating guys 28th ranked in the world as a world champion like Fury!
Ngannou has apparently sparred with Joyce and had a 'war'. The manager of Joyce praised his power. Ngannou can knock Fury out in Boxing and could crush him easily in an actual fight.
In what domain? Specify. In an actual fight, not one where you can duck at knee height and get away with it, Ngannou could annihilate him. Kick him at range, destroy his legs, throw him around, 'ground and pound' him unconscious, choke him unconscious.
Fury can't claim to the goat on that paper thin resume. Can't even claim to be the best of his era with it he's got to fight usyk, AJ, Joyce, hrgovic, sanchez, hunter. Spot on mate. 100 percent with you. It’s up to him to decide when he wants to retire. I am Fury fan and it’s big mistake if he retires without fighting atleast the winner of AJ vs Usyk. Both those fighters are miles ahead of Diliian Whyte. Dillian Whyte is no competition for Fury and can never be considered as a fight to go on top.We all believe Fury can beat any heavyweight of this generation but if he needs to say he’s the Greatest of the generation and genuinely love the sport he shouldn’t leave any unfinished business. As you said Lennox Lewis , Ali, Mike Tyson they all fought every Great fighter in their generation. Fury is only 33 and is at the peak of his career. He can easily fight couple more fights and truly end his caReer on top. He always had the dream of fighting at Old Trafford. Let him fight Joshua at Old Trafford. ThAt would be the better way to hang his gloves
I think it's the right thing to do. Although I wish he would continue boxing he's proved what he came to prove. Inspired a generation of new boxers to step into the ring and he has done us proud. He deserves it.
The thing with the Ngranou fight, if Tysson loses, it don't really matter to his boxing career or legacy. If it was in a ring under boxing rules it would be, but it isn't.
It reminded me of Rocky 2 when Whyte came out south paw.. it did give him a better chance to close the distance, but unless he spent the last 4 months fighting as a lefty he wasted the round as Geordie said..
Going out on a Dylian Whyte fight probably isnt the most ideal way to exit. Getting into the UFC cage with Nganu is nuts and you're right,.. it totally contradicts his claim to wanting to protect himself from unnecessary injury.
That's what I have been saying Wilder is pretty comfortably the 2nd best HW. He knows how to setup his right hand, look at Spilzka and Ortiz 2. Fury makes him look bummish because he's far and above the best.
Wilder is #4. he was lucky Fury was unfit in the trilogy and Fury was unfit himself in the first one. and still couldn't manage to put Fury away. Fury at his peak is arguably #1 or #2. I think Joshua is easy work for him but Usyk should be very interesting
I think Tyson is first and foremost an entertainer, a showman. Being a top boxer isn't his sole purpose in life, it's his vehicle, so to speak. He was raised with it, he's got the knack, and he's been successful. In that way he's kind of similar to Max Baer, who wanted to become a heavyweight champ for the opportunities it afforded more than for its own sake. We're accustomed to seeing top-tier fighters who live for the fight. It's their identity. They are always motivated to push themselves and fight to the top of the mountain and stay there. So it's confusing when a guy like Tyson comes along and can walk the walk and talk the talk, but his heart doesn't seem to be in it like the other top-tier guys who live for the fight. Don't get me wrong, in the ring Tyson never backs down and I'm definitely not disrespecting his talent or courage. I think his motivations are different, and so he doesn't do the things we expect. I could be wrong. But I think that's why he likes the Ngannou fight more than fighting the winner of the Usyk/Joshua fight or racking up title defenses against the next gen guys - it's more appealing to him to be making headlines and be the talk of the town than to hold on to the belt until someone takes it away.
At 4'17'' the guy says "he just does not have the skill set of Deontay Wilder". Are you fucking joking me? Wilder is the one trick pony. He can't throw combination punches. He has no balance, no footwork, his jab is virtually non existent - the man is bereft of any boxing skills. In his early days his balance was so bad, he often fell over swinging the only tool in his box, the big right hand. Mark Breland taught him to widen his stance so he wouldn't fall over while throwing it. This had the disadvantage of making his style predictable but at least it kept him from the canvass and over time he developed it to a tee. As far as boxing skills are concerned though Whyte clearly isn't in the same league as Fury he's a much better and well-rounded pugilist than one-trick-pony Wilder. Wilder was 6 ft 7 inches and a big right hand - a veritable modern day Max Baer. Fury had only to neutralise that big right hand by, in the first fight moving away and in the other fights, walking him down, which he could do because he was actually much bigger than Wilder. Those of us who thought Whyte had a better chance than Wilder were justified insofar as Whyte brought a much wider skill set than Wilder to the table and since his fight with Joshua is a much-improved fighter. I'm just in awe of how Fury controlled every aspect of the fight and finished it with a spectacular Kronk style knock-out. This guy's obviously an Anthony Joshua fan so he's keen to play down Fury.
Including mandatory fights, it will take another 3-4 fights just to fight AJ and Usyk once each. Not including negotiation periods… that could be another 3-5 years. Or he can retire and make them come to him.
I somewhat agree that Ngannou might be more dangerous to Fury than Whyte was, because of that one hitter quitter, but I still don't give him much of a chance in that matchup.
I think Ngannou is a much better boxer than Whyte, and is probably a better boxer than Wilder. WIlder almost stopped Fury in 2 fights. Ngannou started out in boxing. He had zero wrestling skills when he faced Stipe Miocic in his first title fight loss. Ngannou is a once in a lifetime athlete with speed and power that is unreal. You just can't discount anyone as powerful as Ngannou. One glancing punch could end a fight. Ngannou also has a cast iron chin. But Ngannou doesn't have great cardio, because he carries a lot of muscle. And his danger is in early knockout.
Totally agree….it makes absolutely no sense. ONE more fight…not 3 or 4…ONE to unify and then he retires no questions asked. Joshua was the fight and if he beats Usyk, it will be again. But if not Usyk it is and its done with no questions to answer if he never fights Joshua…even if I’d love to see that happen.
Francis has the Hardest punch ever recorded, wylder ain’t even close lol but Tyson should still win a boxing match and it’d be close, but Tyson in a cage, easiest win Francis ever had.

I think it would be a first round KO for Tyson, I can see Francis wading in with an immediate and predictable hard right haymaker, which will hit nothing but air - and the counter will stagger him setting up a fierce one-two and then uppercut. First round win for Tyson easy money.

When Wilder lost and made excuses
Dillian laughed at him more than anyone else, he sowed no respect
And said he would ko Fury .
Well karma kicked his ass good and proper .
Dillians fight against Tyson was boring and lackluster . Tyson made it worth watching by knocking him out . After that lame performance he comes out with some lame excuse about getting pushed and his head hitting the mat . 😆
No deontay wilder is number 1 not only number 2🤣🤣
I respect Fury for his decision. You can see his demur in the build up of the Whyte fight that he was feeling less pressure and enjoying it…knowing it was his last.
I think the problem is with AJ agency or management
they won't ever grant the big fights, how many years we wanted to see wilder/aj and never got it ?
i think it's the same reason why fury/aj is not happening and i'm fine with fury/ngannu as the final showdown.

That's a great point Brian, that I hadn't considered, Dillian Whyte is not a retirement fight to cap off your career
True Geordie opinions on AJ are so far off its incredible. Saying he didn't have the courage to go after Usyk but yet when he was he was getting tagged and if he got stopped like he nearly did at the end of the fight you would criticize that as well. He just got beat by the better boxer that night and that's what happens when you fight the best and don't build your record off beating guys 28th ranked in the world as a world champion like Fury!
*Is it just me, or is boxing camera work always HORRENDOUS?*
I think Tyson would win if he fights Ngannou
100
Ngannou has apparently sparred with Joyce and had a 'war'. The manager of Joyce praised his power. Ngannou can knock Fury out in Boxing and could crush him easily in an actual fight.
In what domain? Specify. In an actual fight, not one where you can duck at knee height and get away with it, Ngannou could annihilate him. Kick him at range, destroy his legs, throw him around, 'ground and pound' him unconscious, choke him unconscious.
Duh, it’s a boxing match. Francis would easily win in a cage fight.
Not with UFC gloves he won’t.
The video we all needed! Right on the spot with every line u said, love that
Fury can't claim to the goat on that paper thin resume. Can't even claim to be the best of his era with it he's got to fight usyk, AJ, Joyce, hrgovic, sanchez, hunter. If he beats them he joins the ATG list until then no chance. He'll be back anyway its all hot air. Ngannou got no chance against whyte in a boxing ring let alone fury. He's not got the feet
Firstly Fury isn’t 6’9 he is 6’7 (Wladimir admits to being 6’5 despite being listed 6’6 and fury looked less than an inch taller than wlad)
Jess Willard (1915 champ), Primo Carnera (1933 champ who has more knockouts than any heavyweight champ in history) and Vitali Klitscko were all a similar size to fury.
Who is furys best win? a 40 year old who got KO by lamon brewster and corrie sanders LOL
Its hard to say whether he would beat a prime Vitali or Lennox Lewis.
@@mattwilliams1205 agreed. people don't follow the sport properly. They're casuals so come out with outrageous comments like furys the goat because they know very little. He's had 2 title defences. To be the goat you have to fight all comers for a sustained period. Furys achievements don't even match bowe and he's not even considered the best of the 90s
Yh there’s no way Fury is near the atg list. 5 world title fight, 3 against the same guy and 2 title defences simply isn’t anywhere near good enough.
@@mattwilliams1205 You’re just going to pretend like he didn’t beat Wilder twice ?
@@Thanosdidtherighthing LOL Wilder who has wilder beaten? his best win is life and death with a 50 year old ortiz LOL
A lot of new fans won't remember Tyson from his early days. It's been some transformation! He was genuinely hated and not many actually rated him. To see where he is now from then is staggering. His mental health battles and coke habit and chosen to speak out about them, are so inspiring. He'll go down as the greatest heavyweights of our era. Would love to see him go for an undisputed fight with Uysk or AJ to cement his legacy even further. If he does retire its been some ride watching is career unfold.
Actually he is the one who is correct, for once someone is going out undefeated, he is GOAT, Ali should have taken that advice instead of getting smashed and ruining the rest of his life
Having great wins is far more impressive than being undefeated against a poor group of fighters
Lol that only counts as greatness for idiots. Ali will live in people's mind until the end of time. You are not the man of you haven't fought the best guy of your time. And fury is a huge guy compared to any of his opponents and still don't fight them? Gtoh.
Ali will be remembered forever he changed boxing, fury will be remembered for a couple years and people will forget. If he wants to cement his legacy as one of the best needs to fight joshua, usyk and other contenders such as Joyce ruiz Parker, if be beats them all there is no doubt he is up there with the best.
Look at Ali’s resume. Look at Lennox Lewis’ resume. Retiring undefeated is trivial it’s about who you’ve beat.
@@mohammedrahman4743 Agree almost completely. I reckon he needs to beat Usyk, Joshua, the two dark horses in Gassiev and Hrgovic, and the Joyce Parker winner, else he’s nothing.
Wythenshawe & proud. The closest thing to Ali - great boxer, great showman & great person. People are flawed, but just like Ali - salt of the earth, mercurial and engaging. I hope AJ beats Usyk (doubt it) but I hope he does so that £250m quid fight with AJ will take place in early 2023. Fury will not only beat him, but show there are levels of difference. Fury is in top 5 heavyweights of all time with Ali, Marciano, Lewis & Mike Tyson, anyone who says different doesn't understand boxing.
I mean it's always like this when someone retires , look at kahbib, everyone now saying Charles could beat him , GSP , they won't leave it alone . It will always be this way
yeah true, people will prolly say Usyk was the man to outbox Fury on points or AJ was the man to finish him
EXACTLY!!!
There always someone else the fans want you to fight it’s how it goes as selfish fans we always want more.
Love the vids man keep safe
And the frustration of him leaving now will fuel the interest upon his return
I completely agree with you about AJ in the Usyk fight, it was very frustrating to watch because he never quite tried to turn things around really.
I agree he needs to fight some better opposition at least before he retires .
I think it's the right thing to do. Although I wish he would continue boxing he's proved what he came to prove. Inspired a generation of new boxers to step into the ring and he has done us proud. He deserves it.
Who are you to talk, youve spared once YOU CANT TALK 😂😂😂
The thing with the Ngranou fight, if Tysson loses, it don't really matter to his boxing career or legacy. If it was in a ring under boxing rules it would be, but it isn't.
Spot on Brian. Your prediction vid also was pretty much bang pn mate, Tyson also predicted a knockout by upercut
It reminded me of Rocky 2 when Whyte came out south paw.. it did give him a better chance to close the distance, but unless he spent the last 4 months fighting as a lefty he wasted the round as Geordie said..
and an uppercut in the right spot which varies for different people will knock anyone out.
Man i want to see Fury vs. at least Usyk and Joshua.
Think he beats both tbh. Usyk would be a little bit trickier if he was bigger.
Perfectly put! 👏 👏 👏
Imo Usyk would give Wilder trouble. But Wilder still #2
Wilder is #4. he was lucky Fury was unfit in the trilogy and Fury was unfit himself in the first one. and still couldn't manage to put Fury away.
I nearly chocked when he said that 😔
Including mandatory fights, it will take another 3-4 fights just to fight AJ and Usyk once each.
TG often winds me up when he talks football, but I agree with every single word in this one. A top watch 👍
Couldn’t take this fight seriously from the announcement to the bell.
10:15 idk about that, I'm thinking back to the Francis vs Lewis fight
Francis has the Hardest punch ever recorded, wylder ain’t even close lol but Tyson should still win a boxing match and it’d be close, but Tyson in a cage, easiest win Francis ever had.
I think its to create leverage for purse split discussion for a potential huge undisputed fight
Tyson Fury > Usyk > Wilder > AJ
Make a mistake? He’s a million times richer than you😂
dunno why but always amuses me to see Sugar at pressers alongside Tyson with his top off 😆
Your right 💯, to be the goat you HAVE to clean out the division completely.
Can’t go out beating Whyte, total agreement 🤝
This guy was right all along
Spot on to everything you said.
I'm a big fan of Fury, but he is young to retire to claim the greatest, specially when Usyc and the 'not such a threat'Josua.
I believe that he is the only one, to ''beat'' the PapaChenko school
Top quality vid TG!
