Wish you showed what products prople can use to clean their own bags with. Just being fascinated by your doing this is nice, but not what I was hoping for...just a suggestion!
Most of these videos are sales presentations. Basically showing you what they can do so you’ll pay them to do it. They not giving away too much game. Fair enough but it’s kind of disheartening
I purchased a vintage speedy here in Japan in August, and the zipper tab tore off, it has an older smell on the inside have been trying to remove and the hardware came to be updated, but I love the bag. I will be inquiring about repairs. Thanks
Been watching these got 3 from Japan in the last week . I had no torn canvas just dirt and water marks. I will tell you this I paid 3k for a bag on Valentine's Day that is the Walmart version of the 80s and 90s LV. . I got a large sac plat, a speedy 40 , and a wallet paid 90.00 , 130, and 170.00
As far as I notice, canvas from 80s and 90s are more of crisp but thicker/ stronger while the new models are sleek/glossy and a bit heavy… I would stil prefer the vintage ones as the print fades slower…
@@LVMonocraftsDesign I bought a vintage speedy and it feels “softer” more pliable than my ‘13 neverfull. So it made me wonder. I’ve always love vintage but never really seen some until more online sellers.
Spending that much time with a brass zipper is amusing, but simple enough. Because it's a copper alloy, it could be electroplated in gold or silver after it's well cleaned and polished, but few actually attempt it. I've done more than a few after some practice elsewhere. It's a valuable revenue source for craftspeople and creates a uniqueness that doesn't detract from the resale value, rather improving it. Aside from that, decent brass hardware being shiny rather than oxidized is a matter of preference and vanity, not necesarily quality to me. When someone wants their hardware upgraded to gold, the additional precision and refinement comes with additional responsibility for care of the item.
This is SO HELPFUL

What cleaner are you using for the hardware ❤?
You may use Wright’s or Brasso brass polisher. Thanks for watching!
What you used for cleaning?
What cleaner do you use to clean canvas
You can use water based wet wipes or if too dusty/moldy, you can use saddle soap.
R u using brasso or bar keepers to clean hardware?
Any brand will do actually, but we use Brasso.
Nice , what’s used to darken Vachetta?
Thank you. Some people use olive oil, but for us, we formulated an oil-based solution to naturally darken fresh vachetta.

Are vintage LV made in 1990 thinner canvas?l or are they quite “harder” or sturdier. Thanks!
