Restoration of the canvas of the Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 bag and complete replacement of all leather parts (except the serial number) with new ones.
Repairing the canvas and leather of a Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 bag. Restoring the canvas begins with removing centuries-old dirt and dust. At this stage, the outline becomes more saturated, bright, and clear. Now you can heal all the damage to the canvas by creating plastic reinforcement inside the fold under the zipper (invisible neither outside nor inside). Restoration of the canvas by building up a new one in the cracks and creating a new texture. Next, we select the color to match the original (coloristic) and paint the Monogram.
I cut out all the leather elements from new dyed leather, taking a pattern from the original. I paint the edges, trim the leather, put stamps, rivets, and thread. A lot of thread by hand.
I decided to purchase this bag to play the role of my students who resell bags. Their job is not easy...
