This is the first stego doc to explain why I was taught in kindergarten, im 40 now, that stegosaurs had 2 brains; one in its head the other in it's butt to control the back half of the animal simply because it was too big for one brain to manage, at least I know Mrs. Sanders wasn't just making shit up. Course I was taught that Pluto was a planet so I guess things change.

Thank you so much. This is my favourite dinosaur of all time. It might have the smallest brain, but it makes up with its spiky tail and beautiful armoured plates and I hope you’re doing well and take care and keep up the good work😊❤

You are more than welcome! 🙏🏼☺️ I will make more amazing videos in the coming future. These days I am so busy, that is why it takes longer time to post a video.

I've seen the tail spikes referred to as Thagomizers. Named after a Far Side comic strip by Gary Larson.

Thanks for watching! Actually, I have included them in my Cretaceous period videos. I will do them separately in the coming future.

As with current herbivores with horns, these are almost entirely used in inter species contests, and are seldom used as defence against predators, their primary function is to be used against members of their own species.
The whole concept that armour, spikes,or horns were evolved to combat predators as a primary function is codswallop, that these may have been used against predators as a secondary function is possible, if not likely,
But that is not the reason these attributes were evolved in the first place.

My #1 Ornithischian Group 😊 wish I Knew what particular plants they ate as well as how elaborate or complex their mating rituals.

If stegosaurus had temper like hippo, even Saurophaganax would not dare to hunt an adult.

If the place for that flexible I wonder if it was possible for the females to lower the place flat against the back to allow the male to mount or these partially lower them in the back half of the animal so the neck ones are the middle back of the top torso of the back may have stayed upright whereas the ones in the hump over the hips and back down the body body tail may have gone flat it's an interesting thought.

The picture of spin-off and stego is not accurate. Liver in different time periods

Because of a small heads and small brain I'm wondering did they had a second brain if so they were very strategized about defense they did not have to be smart but they were smart because you have to define what it would be like to have two brains

Is that a tyrannosaurus vs a stegosaurus? 😊 They never met. Might as well have a dimetrodon vs a short faced bear.

Think it's Allosaurus you see. Note the longer forelimbs...
