Upgraded from the SR Ultra Red with white interior that I ordered January 11 about a week ago to the performance cause my krder got delayed 11 times and was grandfathered wih the initial prices of $52.9k so went with the Ultra Red with black interior to keep it under $55k. EDD July 18 to August 29. Also get $3k tax credit from Santa Cruz County plus reimbursement for Level 2 charger and install. No brainer having a total of $10.5k tax credit for the Performance

Nothing to worry about. it will go down by $5k end of next quarter. The current buyers are the "money is no issue" group. once that group is done then the real price will come out in Inventory

I ordered in white yesterday. My order agreement stated my subtotal was $54,990. I hope I still qualify for the $7,500 Tax Credit. The total was $56,630 once the $1,390 destination fee and $250 order fee was included. I checked the IRS website and it said the destination fee does not count against the tax credit. Didn't see anything on the website about the $250 order fee though.

@@cwal_21 I switched my order to the 2024 Model Y Performance Quicksilver. I already have a 2021 Model 3 Performance that does 0-60 in 3.1 secs. New Model 3 does 2.9 secs. So, 2.9 vs 3.1 seconds. Not much difference. I think I'll like the spaciousness of the Model Y anyway. Plus there's no guessing games with the $7,500. I'm good

So I ordered mine when it was 52.9 but I’m thinking of canceling my order. I upgraded to red with black but may have to lose the 250. I’m having a hard time accepting how quickly prices drop and also how Elon tries to manipulate his prices. I have a lot of friends who are mad at how much their car have depreciated.

Then you mightest well just buy a cheaper 2023 because you will have to wait a least a couple years before the prices of this new M3P drops. Keep in mind Teslas pricing isn’t as outrageously high like they were when people who bought in 2018-2021 even 2022. Their new car prices have dropped significantly so no way you will see the pricing of these lower priced new models drop that much like they did for those older models. For example, I almost paid $70k when the first 2018 M3P came out but luckily I backed out. Now it’s only $53k !
