    Our baby just turned a month old. The sleeping pattern has improved a bit compared to the early days. Anyone who could read this, just know it gets easier.

    Good luck to all the parents out there. Patience is the key, don’t let the stress of lack of sleep get to you. If you find it overwhelming put baby down somewhere safe or give to partner and take a 5 minute break to relax.❤❤❤

    So excited to meet my baby boy December, 22nd 2018 :). Its such excitement for me because with his dad being white with blue eyes, and me black with brown eyes, noone can depict what he will look like. Will he have curly hair? Blue eyes? Brown eyes? Its exciting, lol. I cant wait. These were wonderful tips for new mothers like myself.

So far looks like i gave birth to a white baby (whiter than his daddy lol) but i was also born with super light skin. Hard to tell tho bout his eyes since they are still changing, but my guess is he wil have mommy's dark brown eyes. I hope he has my super curly hair but might just have daddy's straight brown hair. Im just playing the waiting game now to see what exactly he gets from me amd what he gets from his father lol

    It is worth to consider white noise. White and pink noise facilitating long, deep and healthy sleep are of particular importance for children. There is no absolute silence in the mother's womb. Various sounds reach the fetus - voices, music, and even the sound of flowing blood. Through the amniotic fluid and the specific environment in the mother's body, all sounds that reach the fetus appear as white noise. After giving birth, such a sound makes the baby feel safe and confident. This noise reminds the baby of the conditions in the mother's belly. In the case of newborns and infants, white noise will work not only during sleep. It is also worth using it to soothe and calm a crying baby.

    I agree your baby should get used to all the regular noises in the home so he or she can be familiar with everything and don't stop what you're doing don't change your lifestyle because that child is going to grow into it to be pretty much who you are and live a good life so we don't protect our children from all the noises in the house or the dogs barking loud loud noise that you know your baby in your children block out what they do not want to hear anyway just like adults do I think it's a good thing.

    I love this video. I feel like everryin just acts like you can't sleep because babies don't sleep but I think they don't really worry about keeping a certain enviroment for the baby to sleep and they don't have a routine. Maybe I would be like that if I didn't have to go back to work but I want my baby to have some sort of sleep routine before I go back to work.

      Thank you! Mine mostly ‘slept through’ between 8weeks and 16weeks then the 4month sleep regression hit and she’s been waking 4-6 times a night every single night since and a lot more if poorly or teething. I would still say though that despite this the first 3months were the hardest and you do get used to it to some extent so it becomes easier.

Our problem is before we try to lay him down for a nap, we change, breastfeed him and he knocks out in our arms. As soon as we try to move him to the bassinet or crib he wakes up and refuses to sleep. We've tried warming the bed, darken the room, white noise and nothing works. What can we do? Any tips? I am not sure how true it is that most babies sleep through the night by 4 to 6 months. This perhaps might be true if you sleep train your baby, which I am very much against. My baby was waking up every 2-3 hours till she was 1 and she would wake up at least 2 times a night till she was 2.5 years old.

  • @rebeccascott3551
    @rebeccascott3551 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    The figure “most babies sleep through the night at 4-6 months” just is not true. In fact, it’s perfectly normal for babies to wake at least once per night up to 1 year. Don’t feel discouraged mommas, if your baby is still waking you’re not doing anything wrong!!!

      My daughter also turns her head to the side. If you think about it, babies have disproportionately large heads, and if they didn't turn their heads, their necks and backs wouldn't be straight. I wouldn't turn his head.
