I've had all the expensive /fancy lighters. They do a good job and look nice. But the paint eventually wears off . Or they don't last. For 6.99 get yourself a vertigo 3 flame torch lighter . Good pinpoint flame, they last forever and if they break most cigarshops will exchange no questions asked and if they don't well it was 6.99
@@ARCSTREAMS Warranty. Most Fancy lighters ( Colibri, Xicar, etc...) come with Lifetime warranty but you have to deal with packing it & cover the shipping. My girlfriend is Cuban and she has some Cuban cigars she said someone was telling her to sell them for $50,000 a box she refused because they are illegal in the USA
I just bought my second one of these lighters. One for work and one for home! Great little lighter. Only complaint is that the punch started getting dull after about a year. Hard to complain about that!
I tinker on antique pocket watches and I have a stone and bar that I use to sharpen, straighten pivots. Puts and edge on a cutter or a punch like you wouldn't believe!
Does it last, I would assume so? I tried to use the damned Dollar Store torch lighters and bought butane but every time I need a refill seems the thing craps out of me. I've taken them apart and adjusted the little flame adjuster and was only able to fix those types one time. Basically they are disposable. I wanted one like this that I can at least go through my can of butane. lol
@Hunting Wolf you won't be disappointed. My original is still going strong. I refill it once a week or so depending on how often I smoke, and have never had a problem. Matter of fact, the "dull" punch, still works well enough. It could use a light sharpening but doesn't really need it. I'm happy with it.
I like having a glass of bourbon on ice and a pipe filled with Captain Black Original in the evening. I just light up with a cheap butane lighter. Love that black cavendish mix.
My girlfriend rolls blunts with Cuban cigars and Cuban cigars are expensive but she came to America when she was younger and her dad had them and she knows how to keep the fresh
I use the Bic long lighters. They light my cigars without burning my fingers. When they run out of fluid, I throw them away and use a new one. They are very cheap.
I have seen a cigar lighter for over $3,000 . Its the S.T. Dupont Space Odyssey Prestige Lighter . LOL More money than sense . A lighter that cost as much as a good used car . LOL The lighter is $3,499.00 plus tax. For that it better give me a happy ending every time I light a cigar. LOL
I have the exact same lighter but im having trouble filling it i already did the stupid thing were you put a pen on the nozzle but its not filling its just wasting my butane i need help
The trick lighting a pipe with a torch is not to touch the flame to the tobacco, bring it just close enough to get a smoulder that way you avoid damaging the flavour, even if I'm lighting a cigarette, a torch lighter is the best, it can get windy here and hiding under your jacket is a pain. I rarely smoke, mostly just use my ecig now, but a good lighter is a must have item!
I travel with my torch lighter so I need one that looks like a liquid fuel lighter to the TSA. This lighter would be ok for home but it looks like a small weapon. Afraid it would be confiscated.
My last 2 both just purchased at different times. Never worked... There's spark, but no flame... Now I'm getting real knowledge on other channels... They all never work as well when I have to add butane...
Nothing beats a Zippo, cause even butane enthusiasts can use one by popping a Thunderbird or Z-Plus butane insert in, either soft flame or torch. This way you can have an heirloom-quality lighter that you cherish, such as a beautiful solid sterling case or whatever. Designs on Zippos are endless and custom ones are everywhere. I prefer a soft flame, and since it appears today's Zippo fluid does not impart any taste, I use it in my '58, 14k Zippo. No, i am not affiliated with the company in any way, but i do appreciate an heirloom lighter that i can admire and enjoy, and it's guaranteed forever. Why not have a lighter that you enjoy as much as your cigar?
There is a butane lighter watch on Amazon I just ordered one I've never seen an actual watch company make 1/4 so this is a gimmick item but supposedly all the videos I've seen and actually works
I have this lighter and unless it's turned almost all the way up, it doesn't light. I've only had it a short time and having this issue...i don't recommend it.
McKenzie Garrett from the bottom you let air out first with a pencil or Bobby pin once air is gone just fill it up as usual it’s a small hole on the bottom you can look up how to fill up butane lighter
Never try to light a big cigar using a Bic lighter . I destroyed my cigar using a Bic and will never use a Bic again but to light vamp fire its ok i guess.

@@rachelle1 You can use any lighter even butane to "burn" the foot of the cigar but do not suck on a cigar if there is anything but wood at the end of it. Bought one more then a year ago after watching this video. I can light only two cigars and then you need to refill it.
Yep, it's got a small tank and mine only lights off it's turned almost all the way up... Very disappointing
The height of the flame is used for lighting into deep areas like candles or a well built deep fire.

In terms of gas even a bundle or a do it all in one would b great Google huh yeea
Well they can possibly damage your pipe and the rate at which you burn your tobacco is faster than what you'd want but you can still do it.
Is that the double jet torch ?
Have you ever had one of the eagle torches that a gold round piece came out? If so is there any way to fix it
How is it holding up two years later? Still lasting?
