This was great, Mani! I now have a strategy to follow in flash attempts thanks to your training vlog! Previously, I was not very organized with flash attempts and they often fail because I just did not know how to go about them. Now I have something new to try at the gym! Thank you for all the time and effort you put into your channel! Some of us need it desperately!
A very basic strategy for increasing the chances on flash attempts, hope you've got something from it! I feel like these problems were quite simple, straight forward and relatively easy for me to do so I thought it's a great opportunity to outline the basics. However, this subject gets quite deep as problems become harder and more complex, so I definitely just scratched the surface here. Next time we're gonna increase the difficulty a bit :D
Thanks Mani, great video. I particularly liked hearing about the "rules" of flashing. This is something that may be difficult for people to learn sometimes because they may only have a small group that they climb with to gather info from. Getting an overall perspective was helpful.
I'm liking the frequency of the videos since you've been back from Mexico. As someone already touched on, the shopping videos/what's in my fridge videos are really interesting and gets me inspired to eat healthily again. Maybe you could think about combining that with some more recipe videos.
This is a great stuff, Mani! Super interesting and valuable to see how you are thinking to solve the problem. Thanks! I think you should definitely continue creating more such analytical videos
Another great video Mani. After finding Your channel, i made a lot of progress with climbing. Doing more training in the boulder gyms, on rock, and working on core strength, power and endurance. Thanks for the inspiration, and keep those beginner videos coming ;)
Might add that you can brush the holds yourself in a competition usually. This does give you a good look at the holds before you attempt to flash the problem.
Good video man, love the music as well, like how you showed it at the end, I was wondering where the music was from when it came on for the first flash attempt.
You can train fingers and forearms... OR you can use slopers and pinchers ALOT in easy problems where the weight is kepped on the legs. I hated slopers, now they are my favorit(i still don't like pinchers...)
Hi Mani, I liked the video except for the very end. There is no worse edible protein source for men than Soy. The resulting raised levels of Estrogen have been demonstrated to hinder strength gains.

I liked the music when you were executing the problems, really fun haha. Good tips!

Glad you liked it, more will come!

I'm very glad to hear that, I will!
Amazing video and amazing work done here! SO much explanation, details,... So good =) THX!
Really enjoyed the music too! Yay
Haha, funny intro and music!
Thank you for the video! I recently got my first V4 flash and feeling like I want to get better at this (:
Nice one, good job!
Really dig that cave layout.
introoo :D:D:D wunderbar!

Can you do a video on how much you spend on food each month? I'm about to start living on my own so it would be really helpful!
Great suggestion, thanks!
Ha. How old are you
Massive dab on that pink hold with ur right foot, but ill give it to you xD
Well it's quite hard to stay 100% clean on filled up walls :)
You can't lose to much energy avoiding holds. Gym is for practicing.
the climber tan is strong in this one ;)
Hey mani, little off topic but could you recommend one or two of the best sport crags with climbs around 7a around Vienna? Thanks for the vids!
A bit closer is the "Thalhofergrat" and a bit further is the "Adlitzgräben", both more or less to the south, both feature stuff in the 7a range.
Thanks man, I look forward to checking one of there out this weekend👍
Do you have a trick for holding slopers and pinches?
You can train fingers and forearms... OR you can use slopers and pinchers ALOT in easy problems where the weight is kepped on the legs. I hated slopers, now they are my favorit(i still don't like pinchers...)
You could make a video explaining some climbing vocabs like "onsight", "redpoint" and so on. Would be awesome.
Ha, thanks for the suggestion!
I'm almost certain that japanese guy didn't say that :D
That's chinese, he's saying something about the museum on the other side:D
Andrea Allegrini haha nice!
oh no! on your 1st problem you kicked that red pinch hold by accident, that's not a flash! :D
only touch the starting holds before u Start to climb pls
All you really need is a trench coat to get started flashing!
