    I've had Honeybook for 1 month and not only is it confusing I have found all of the videos no help at all. EXCEPT FOR THIS ONE, thank you so much for this, I have a feeling I'll be watching all of your honeybook videos. Top notch!

    Thank you for your video. It really cleared up some things that I was struggling with. I do have a question regarding Automations that was not covered. How can I set up my Automation so that it's personalized for each person in the project? I have a project consisting of 6 individuals (senior group session) and want each of them to sign contract and model release. Currently when sent, it only shows the first person in the project, so everyone is getting the contract and email, but they see it with one specific individual's contact information. Hope that made sense.

      Hey there! So unfortunately, automating this is not possible right now. You can manually add more people to the project and to sign the contract. But there are also only one set of smart fields for emails as well so you will need to adfdress people manually. Hope that helps!

    Hey Kristi, so can you set or integrate a non gmail email address or at least can I have my email domain show as the sender email address to customers?

      Yes! It does not have to be gmail. You can set this up in settings, integrations.

    Can you set up an automation of day the client doesn’t sign contract? Or do automations only apply if the client does something

      Currently there are no triggers for "if client does NOT do X". Hoping this comes in the future!

    Hello Thank you so much for this video. I too am grateful these videos exist… as I am in the booking stage of my Event business and I am like oh Shoot what if someone reaches out or inquire.. I am very much still confused as my honeybook Inquiry form/questionnaire is embedded on my ig. When client click the link fill it out I receive an email that a client filled out inquiry.. you have taught us Automations and Smart file (invoice, proposal and contract) . My question is which one do we use .. Automations or Smart files after the inquiry has been place and received by us.
    Also, Do we use both? Automations and smart files.. I ask because some clients dont have the time to read they want to inquire, consultation, sign contract and pay invoice… party begins to plan. Please help!!

      This is really dependent on each person and how they want their client experience to be. If your client knows exactly what they want when inquiring, then I recommend sending them a proposal. If they don't know what they want, then I suggest sending a brochure or schedule a call with them. Because it sounds like each person has a different experience, then I would not recommend automation the process of sending the brochure or the proposal, but doing this manually.

    Can I manually send smart file to a prospect that I obtained through my contact form and in said form have them answer a yes or no question that will trigger a new automatic automation? I go to wedding shows and obtain emails from clients who've briefly met me and they take several nudges before they reach out to me usually months later. I am finally on Honeybook but am disappointed I cant automate a bunch of smart file emails, or emails for that matter, that will keep my brand in front of them a few times a week without having to manually send the automation...

      You can only automatically trigger an automation by using a contact form and the project type dropdown. From the sound of it, it might be worth looking into an email marketing tool as well!
