What I got from this video is that we can employ very small, almost minuscule things to regain or train us to focus better. The key is finding those small things and attributing energizing feelings to them that will urge us to focus on the task at hand

9:46 This is so right. I am a medical student in Czech republic and I always hated how my classmates never wanted to socialize. Not just with me, but with anyone. Everyone locked up in their rooms and studying. I will be finishing my studies soon and can say, most of the time I felt like I was in a “social void”. No wonder they all suffer with depression and stuff. If I spent all my days in my room, I would be depressed as hell

Omg hi, Ali! your methods have helped me so much, I was a person who couldn't even focus for 5 minutes but after watching this video I have been able to sit down and focus while studying for more than 2 hours. I love your videos, they're very inspiring. I think more young souls should watch these types of videos instead of spending time on their phones, and social media, and playing games. I thank you from the bottom of my heart as this video and more videos and a lot of videos that you have uploaded have been very helpful.
with love, I hope your channel grows more and more and more and more I cannot thank you enough. I love how simplified your videos are about things people should know also I took you SkillShare class and it has helped me pretty good but I felt like I was in the class, it was very exciting experience for me to learn from a very experienced person like you.
again, I cannot thank you enough i wish i could but i cannot because my heart's a mess and whenever someone is so good at doing something i can only wish the best for them.
    with love.

Mindset is everything wherever you want to succeed.
Why do we need focus in studying or learning anything while I don't need when comes to play games or hanging out, scrolling mobile?
The take away is that we don't enjoy studying. We are obsessed with recreation.
1.Making study a bit fun by using some techniques
    2. I have to do it in a way my mind feels happiness even everyone says boring.
    3. Can you take it an adventure inside your mind. To establish that you can incorporate some physical change in your daily scheduled programme like writing or drawing a path by the walls, creating mental song.
Also appreciate little success You achieved in a day.
Feeling of gratitude will givr you a peaceful night sleep.
Why not you consider it as a game and a collection of small levels?
When you complete easy level. Raise your hand and applause yourself for contributing to your long cherished goal.

Yea, here's the problem. My phone never distracts me, I don't like social media, I only use TH-cam on my breaks. If social media was the problem, there are a lot of ways to get rid of it. BUT... for me, my own head is the problem, every distractions happen in there, daydreams, writing something on the notebook or my white board and then blanking out and staring at it for 10 minutes or so and making up fantasy stories in my head with me as a superhero flying around saving the world and stuff.
I love fantasy and I enjoy my daydreaming, I wanna start a side hustle as an author and singer songwriter and my imagination is what helps with this, so the problem is I can't get rid of it because it's useful to me and it gives me happiness, but it sometimes gets in the way of my studies, I an aspiring veterinarian too, I am studying for a highly competitive exam that will help me get into vet school, and my brain daydreaming about getting the top score in the exam isn't really helping with actually getting the top score in the exam and that kind of daydreams are pretty much useless considering they don't contribute to my targeted side hustles. But I tried to just stop myself from these useless daydreams and it kinda stopped my whole imagination, everytime I try to write a song or story, my brain's blank and it put me in a really bad mood, I would sulk around everyday and lost interest in everything when my life turned into just studying and nothing else, creating songs and stories was what kept me going, and as soon as that stopped, so did my will to do literally anything, I even started becoming rude to my parents because I was always in such a bad mood.
