Finally, a way to make a PDF/copy into an editable digital worksheet that is straightforward and easy to do! Watched so many videos and this is the first one that makes sense! Much appreciated.
Thank you SO much for showing how to turn a PDF into a working document for students. Your instructions were very clear, and you have saved me an incredible amount of time. You are a blessing as we all try to deal with these crazy times. Stay well!
Wow, mind blown! I'm usually the one teachers come to for help with technology, and I thought I knew it all! You just showed an old dog a new track! Awesome!
You are a genius and a lifesaver!! I shared this with the teachers in my district and we are all blown away. This will save us HOURS of time trying to create work for our students. THANK YOU!!!
Great job, young lady! Thanks for this great video! Those of us who haven't grown up in the digital world truly appreciate good instructional videos! You're a great teacher!! So appreciated!
You don't know how helpful this video was!!! With remote learning and teaching taking place, this video was a lifesaver, thank you so much!!!! You're awesome!
This is awesome! Thank you! I like using a 1x1 table instead of a textbook only so that I can change the background color of the answer area for students to just see better along with the "Type Here".
Like you, I use the 1 x 1 table cells instead of text boxes because they are a little bit harder for the students to move or resize by accident. I either add color inside the box itself, or format the text so that students' responses are in a different color and font than those of the worksheet.
This was so helpful! I made a few documents following your instructions and I'm very pleased about the way they look and work. I came back to share that I use your "click here to type" tip and have discovered that if I write those directions in color, that facilitates the task in two ways: it directs students' eyes to the places where a reply is expected AND helps me find the answers faster when I'm assessing the work. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!

If you go to the drop down menu for add a slide on the top left, add the ‘caption’ slide. Copy the click to add text here box. Copy it and paste it on the worksheet. You can resize it, change the font, color, etc. Placeholder text disappears when you click in the box so students don’t have to delete it. Game changer.
You're awesome. I had watched several tutorials previous to this one, and your tutorial was far and away the most understandable and comprehensive one out there. Thanks a million!

@@rebeccasimonds7035 the reason why it's blurry is that you are probably zoomed way far out and trying to create a background that is blowing it up to the paper size you have selected. You can either make the paper size a little smaller (instead of 8.5 x 11, try 8x10.5 or something). The whole point of the 8.5x11 is so that it can be "printed" if needed. So if the ratio is smaller, you're just adding more of white space around the picture if you are required to print!

Do you have any recommendations for when the background image is blurry in Google Slides?
I have the same problem. I think in order to snip the whole thing, I'm zooming out and then it's blurry when I enter it in the background.
@@rebeccasimonds7035 Did you find a solution for this as its happening to me as well
